As for the topic of trading, it's actually very broad, besides that we don't have to specialize just to be profitable here, because I've read that a simple understanding of trading if you can get a profit from it is enough as long as you're not a greedy individual.
Unlike others who have a lot of knowledge in trading though I'm not saying it's bad, most of them are not profitable traders when it comes to actual trade and yet they have extensive knowledge in terms of theory in trading.
I think greed is not a reason to say a trade is bad. You know the traders who really follow the process well, and the traders who make trades randomly? Those who trade with a good plan also do not necessarily profit. But the process of understanding the right strategy can help traders to get the right direction. A trader who enters randomly may make profits, but you will not find them lucky all the time.

From an objective standpoint read what this trader had to say base on his experience as a trader that has being trading for years just as you. With your own true experiences share your disagreement and agreement with about his idea
Many people believe that being profitable means you have to live some luxury Life or have expensive cars and houses. The real profitability doesn't defines those lifestyle but is judged by how often you follow your rules. You can take a profitable trade but it's not a good trade why? Because that trade was taken out of luck not because you followed your trading plan. A real trader will always try to follow their trading plan at all time no matter how terrible the market might be. So even if you take the trade and it hits profits if it didn't follow your plan, you risked too much it is considered a bad trade. Something you cannot repeat over time is luck not trading.

Every trader has their own unique trading patterns and systems, yet they often become trapped by the very strategies they use to pursue profits. As you pointed out, even a seemingly sound plan does not guarantee success in fact, it can sometimes backfire. It is likely far better to focus on identifying the right moments and opportunities to trade, which may ultimately lead to more efficient results.

Is the core of the question really about what constitutes good trading? From my perspective, good trading is when the approach you take doesn’t exceed your capabilities especially in terms of risk. As for the goal, obviously we all aim to make a profit, but not all methods are sound or will always be profitable in the long run. What I mean is, it’s pointless to make a big profit if you do so by taking on excessive risk, because the market can’t always be accurately predicted. There will always be times when your analysis is off and you end up with a loss. So, good trading is when everything is measured and doesn’t exceed your limits.

When greed becomes the reason why a trader loses money in trading you can call they trade bad because you lost money that you should have made due to your own selfish interest. If you follow the process, add your experience in your trade with your strategy you will not have a bad but during unless you decide to be greedy not to take profit when the market is favourable to you. Those random traders with little knowledge do everything by guess work hoping to be lucky they have no plans so they can have bad trades all the time they won't care.

A bad trade and a profitable trade reflect two different circumstances, for example a trader can set everything on point and yet fail to make profit, I will classify this trade as a bad trade from my observation, what determines an A+ strategy is the result though nothing is guarantee but, if the plan is really an A+ as claimed profit might be certain. That of the no plan and no set up strategy is actually strange, for example calling a plan garbage and at the end of the day profit was made then obviously the plan was really a good one that just needs a new structure probably financially management, the primary reason why everyone wants to trade basically to earn profit.

Going against your principles and making profit is still classified as a bad trade even though a lot of people aren't really going to see it that way but that's actually true because when taking such a risk that doesn't involve any calculations this might end up affecting your results. The difference between trading and gambling is the level of risk, in trading risks are calculated and when a trader just flips whatever amount that they trade with and they don't apply risk management or follow other rules to reduce losses that's gambling.

To me I don't think weighing risk in trading is that difficult, maybe some people are just intentionally reckless. They just still proceed with what they are aware is risky because of the profit they could get and rational decisions like that could be costly and lead to untimely loss. There are a lot to perfect in trading and managing risk and being cautious before making any trade. If a trader can identify his risk limits and be disciplined enough to not cross them and also making sure they eliminate greed then they are one step closer to being a successful trader because reckless moves is what kills some traders.
Reckless trading always increases risk and also the chances of going down quickly because it never gives enough support to keep things in balance easily. Just because understanding of risk weighting is much more encouraging for traders and investors, it allows them to have things in control and never face troubling times. Risk management is always important to understand; without having enough knowledge, it's never bringing things on profit. Perfect trading is always possible; it needs good enough discipline. If anyone is having enough mind to control emotions and do good work, he always has a chance of staying on a good level in profit, but trading needs enough time and knowledge; without having these, never start your journey.

Most of us know that trading is risky. However, some individuals believe that trading can be profitable for them. We can't change the fact that many traders are still learning from their mistakes. Besides, nobody taught us what powerful strategy makes us win all the time.
What most traders think is to make money, regardless of whether it is a bad call or not. And this is the reality – most traders buy and sell based on emotions, social media hype, or recommendations without analyzing the risks.

You are right and when you talks about recommendations, these are people who are in one group or in community that usually gives out signals to their community on which coin they should be buying at that specific moment. Of course, they could end up buying that coin and lose complete because they market doesn't obey anyone's choice or emotions. Trading most time are also referred to a game of probability where you wouldn't know what is going to happen in the market for the next minute or days, so when doing analysis there are some factors that needs to considered which includes the public choice and the media.

This is the right idea of most traders especially the average traders. The main aim is to make profit in any of their trade regardless of being it a good or a bad trade. In fact, the trade that bring profit is what we referred to as a good trade while the one that happen in different direction as we predicted are what we referred to as a bad trade since the aim is to make profit and that’s what trading is all about. Some traders don’t have the adequate knowledge to find an entry for themselves, they rely on little analysis they know and follow social media hype and market directions to place their trade, some of them are actually making good profit from that, while some of the traders are losing money. This trader in the OP can be a professional trader who is proud of what he know as a trader, most of them have the money already, they trade for fun that is why he can refer to a trade with profit as a bad trade because he probably knows that he traded for fun and it turns out to be a good trade.

Profitable does not necessarily equal good. When someone does not follow their risk rule, and makes money, this outcome may lead to the same course of action the next time, potentially when the market will not be as kind. I believe the important thing here is to evaluate the selection of decisions, and then also their results, separately. If the risk is managed then a well-timed trade that sets off a stop-loss is a good trade, and a hasty trade that makes a profit is just plain luck. In numerous professions, it is more important to have a tried and tested approach than to have one lucky win.

Profits gained due to luck definitely cannot be obtained consistently. The result remains the same, but the trades made will not gain new learning. It doesn't mean we have to incur losses to learn, but from losses we see the risks that may occur in trading. And we have to address those risks. I think most traders have also opened trading positions based only on speculation. Some will continue to trade that way, and others will learn and improve their skills.

Trading should serve as a means to generate additional liquidity for investment; therefore, it is not essential to strive for every single trade to be profitable. Instead, the goal is for the average outcome of these trades to be profitable, thereby generating more liquidity for users.
It is impossible for trading to be profitable at all times, and people need to understand that in trading, profits are not guaranteed. It is very possible for one to have a bad trade, no matter how good they think they are. Having the mindset that every trade must be profitable is a problem, and this can even make one more desperate about making a profit from trading. People believe they can make money from trading; this is why, when they are not getting what they expect, it becomes a problem for them.

Indeed, we should not judge the trade based on its outcome. Maybe we break our own rules for a trade and make a profit but this profit is going to affect our mindset in the future. It will encourage us to do the same for the next trade, which is wrong. And also, a bad present doesn't guarantee us a better future; it depends on whether that present judgment is based on sound or simply luck. Following a plan is as important as following discipline; make plan, see if it is actually working. If yes, then follow that plan with discipline. Without discipline, we cannot make a profit. But still, discipline without a strategy is nothing.

People believe they can make money from trading; this is why, when they are not getting what they expect, it becomes a problem for them. Control your risk in the long run without trying to make a profit on every trade. Even skilled traders are not guaranteed to be successful in all trades. The market works in ways that cannot be accurately predicted in advance. Even after good analysis and following the right strategy any trade can end in a loss. Losing a trade does not mean that the trader is incompetent. No one can be called a skilled trader just by making a profit on a trade. Problems can arise when a trader considers every loss as his failure and tries to recover that money quickly. Accepting the results of a trade and waiting for the next opportunity is an important characteristic of a disciplined trader. Even if a trader makes a profit on a few trades it does not prove that he will be able to trade profitably in the long run. Long-term results depend on his strategy and risk management. It is important to evaluate the overall results of all trades not just how many trades he has made a profit on. A big mistake for many is to consider trading as a source of guaranteed income. Expecting to earn a certain amount of money from the market increases stress. And decision-making ability can be affected. Before entering into trading it is necessary to have the ability to accept possible losses and have clear risk management. Following an effective strategy that can give positive results in the long run by limiting losses. However no strategy guarantees profit.

For those that take trading seriously, it is not just about making profit alone, If you don't apply the rule of risk management and also having a strategy then you are just gambling. Everyone has their view of this, some see it as a good trade if they make profits from the market without following a plan or placing a trade calculatively. The reason why taking reckless trades isn't really advisable is because overtime do more you trade this way you end up losing more, it is not sustainable.
Don't rely on luck, be disicplined, have a plan and make sure that you always follow it so that you don't end up making mistakes that would make you blow your trading account multiple times.

Any one who trade with greed is in for more failure and why I will agree with any greedy trader to be a failed trader despite making profit is simply because a greedy trader will continually fail to make profits despite making profits. Instead of taking advantage of the profit, he will end up losing his profit to the next trade . This is even aside entering trades without proper plans to it. A greedy trader will make trading look like a gamble where they trade, make profits, use the profits to make another trade and then lose the trade again.
