I think my frustration with the AI live dealer products that I’ve seen is that they are trying to replicate a live dealer and falling way short as they are still caught in what robot experts would call the ‘uncanny valley’. They aren’t handling the cards, it’s repetitive body movements and the whole thing just feels off.

I guess at one point many of us will give it a try... why not? And for sure some people will like it, some will hate it, but in any case, AI dealers will become part of every casino. In my opinion, it's just a question of time.

Even when they offer us a live dealer, we already feel like we're being cheated. And now they offer us AI dealers, which I think would make the live experience really bad and could lower gamblers' trust in the casino.

One of the reasons people play live casino games at online casinos is to get the same experience they could get when playing in a land based casino. We socialize with humans, not AI. For me, I don't see many good reasons for using AI dealers in casinos. I feel like it's more for the casinos, not the players. It's mostly for cost efficiency.

The best use of these AI live dealers I can imagine is when the AI dealer characters are based on popular characters that many people like, such as idols, anime characters, etc. I think there's a market for it. AI with the realistic view can be a smart ove, no need to keep paying the actual humans but it is going to make a huge difference, I am not sure because live games got customers but it is not that compared to the simple casino games, maybe in future things will change?

Let’s be honest here, AI is gradually replacing different types of human jobs, and that’s something I would never want to see happen because it could affect so many people. The truth is, we don’t really know what the future holds. What if AI ends up replacing us in our current jobs? That would be a nightmare for many of us.

When it comes to replacing human dealers with AI, I believe it could have a big impact on the players’ experience. AI may be able to imitate human facial expressions and actions but we know the fact that it cannot express genuine emotions or the kind of personal connection that a  human dealers can offer to the players. If that replacements happens, It would be boring or it will give less enjoyable feeling to us.

I have been seeing AI dealers in live casinos on the Blackjack and Baccarat machines for a few years now. Not really a fan of them TBH. As far as online goes, people already feel the games are rigged sometimes, I think they better try to stick to live dealers just to keep assumptions down.

Some casinos will definitely try to implement AI dealers on their tables, some will look like real people while others will look like fantasy characters, very similar to those Virtual YouTubers which have become so popular among young people.

Something about this doesn’t sit well with me right away. I prefer live gambling. And here, I don’t see any fundamental difference compared to slots or some other algorithms. In general, the desire to save on salaries (by replacing everything and everyone with AI) is already starting to cross all reasonable boundaries. The quality of the final service is already starting to suffer, as in this example. I use AI frequently, and sometimes I find myself thinking that AI dealers might actually be better than human ones they could prove to be smarter and more polite, and able to tell us whatever we want to know though, of course, the owner would restrict the information they provide. I am not even bothered about the Ai dealer. What I'm more concerned about is how the players will feel when something uncomfortable happens on the table. For some players they might be more comfortable if they're dealing with a human dealer, because they'll be able to ask questions freely and also have someone to communicate with.  But when it comes to someone who is not even use to Al stuffs, the experience will be totally different when they are playing with an Ai dealer.

And most importantly I think casino should really ask themselves if using AI can really make the gaming experience more enjoyable for the players, they shouldn't be only thinking of how to cut down budget.  While this is beneficial to the company, but the fact still remains that if the players aren't having fun, they may just walk away and find another casino.

But question is will gambler ever actually trust any AI dealer? To be honest gamblers are incredibly superstitious by nature. When sitting at real table seeing physical card being shuffled or wheel spinning right in front of them instill sense of trust and satisfaction. Can playing against AI avatar really replicate that feeling? However, there is a bright side to this as well. That cannot be ignored.
As you said, main advantage of these AI dealer is customization. Operator can launch table in local language ​​or even create dealer avatar based on clone of brand ambassador.
