Merit is given to various good-quality posts in the forum, which can usually be understood by looking at the thread posts. But when they received that merit can normally be seen by going to their account's merit list within 120 days. But usually, the merits received before 120 days cannot be seen even by going to the merit list of the profile.
So I want to know whether it is possible to find out when/which-date someone received merit directly from this forum in a general way.

Only 120 days information can be seen from the forum. Use <> https://bpip.org/Check out Merit Information.

In Bitlist, you can check with a custom timeframe: Here is your link profile: https://bitlist.co/user/id/1239554Go to the Merits tab. Feel free to check which date you want to check. They have 5 default timeframes (7d, 30d, 120d, 1y, all) or you can use a custom timeframe.

Check out Merit Information.
Thanks for your suggestion, but is it not possible to see these directly while staying on the forum without using them? Feel free to check which date you want to check. They have 5 default timeframes (7d, 30d, 120d, 1y, all) or you can use a custom timeframe.
Thanks a lot for your good suggestion. Bitlist is working very well to provide updates on all the activities of the forum. But it would perhaps be even better if these could be seen directly while staying on the forum without using them. (It is also true that if everything about the date and time when merit was received is shown on the forum, it would look very heavy or complicated.)

Yes, you can, and there are multiple options available. But you will have to use some external tools. Those are: You will find your complete merit history by searching your username on these websites. Edit: Check out Merit Information.
Thanks for your suggestion, but is it not possible to see these directly while staying on the forum without using them? No, it is not possible to access directly from the forum. However, if you want, you can use the BPIP Extension. From there, you can go to these external websites with just one click.

You cannot directly collect or view old merit data from the forum. For this you have to use third-party platforms such as Loyce.club https://loyce.club/Merit/merit.html Bitlist.co, or DdmrDdmr's Merit Dashboard. Although Bitcointalk officially provides an official data dump every seven days https://bitcointalk.org/merit.txt.xz you can check it there if you want but it only includes merit data from the previous few months. If you want overall merit data you have to use third-party platforms.

is it not possible to see these directly while staying on the forum without using them? You can find extremes in Merit stats. it would perhaps be even better if these could be seen directly while staying on the forum without using them. From what I've seen in my time here, the forum won't add features that third-parties can make. It saves theymos time, and doesn't risk breaking something else. If you want to create your own data project, start with merit.all.txt, it has all data from theymos' weekly Merit data dumps starting from the first Merit.

So I want to know whether it is possible to find out when/which-date someone received merit directly from this forum in a general way.
You might want to try BitcoinTalk Merit History Plotter script developed exactly for this purpose. Use it's latest version, namely 7.0.0, if you want to see all your history by day, by month, by last 120 days, by last 240 days, by last 360, days and by thread. 7.0.0 parses data directly from https://loyce.club/Merit/merit.all.txt. Enjoy.

I am wondering the reason some people give you BPIP, but they did not tell you what you will do. When you visit the site, click on the + sign at the upper right side, click on the three lines that look like menu and it is above setting sign, click on merit, you will see 'historical sMerit transfer' click on it, you will see a funnel like icon at the top right side click on it, fill in the necessary information. You want to look for all merits of someone, input the username of the person under which is beside 'To' and click on apply. Just like you, let me use your username and you will get this: https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?&to=Decimation

There are some tools that you can use to view the complete merit list of your account history and also others. The links to the tools have already been given in the first few posts like BPIP, LoyceClub, Bitlist. Not only merit history but using these tools you can view many other types of history like post archive, moderator log, curity log etc. Hope you have already got the information you are looking for. There are no other options except the tools that have already been given to you. So whoever posts next will provide you with the same link. So you should lock this topic now. Because you will not get anything new other then this.

It will be good if the forum is created in a way that we can see all that directly in the forum. It won't make the forum heavy or complicated, if the admin wants to make it possible he can actually do it, all they will do is to work on the forum and make some changes and it will be made perfectly and the forum will function very well without any complications or problems. I just feel the admin won't see it as something important since there's an option were you can see it and it's working perfectly fine.

There's no need to repeat what other people has already said...Your question has been answered in different ways, just click on the links of respondents or responder's one after the others, you will see the answers to your question...I suggest that after reading the positive replies, you can willingly lock the thread to avoid spamming..

Thank you for suggesting important data. Although I collected all the merit data using bitlist.co (API), getting your important merit data helped me a lot in doing the analysis. When you visit the site, click on the + sign at the upper right side, click on the three lines that look like menu and it is above setting sign, click on merit, you will see 'historical sMerit transfer' click on it, you will see a funnel like icon at the top right side click on it, fill in the necessary information. Just like you, let me use your username and you will get this: https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?&to=DecimationYou explained the whole thing in detail about how to see the detailed merit information on BPIP. Anyone can easily understand your explanation because you explained everything point by point in a nice way. I had no difficulty understanding it and was also able to do the merit history properly. Thank you for presenting the topic so nicely.
