Hello!
I deposited twice on degen.com, a betting site which existence I found out here on bitcointalk. 2 small deposits, totalling 60 usdt minus the fees. After playing for a week or so my account reached 116 usdt and I decided to withdraw some of my money, extactly 86 usdt. Now, they advertise that they pay instantly but this was not my case. After some time I contacted them on live chat, and they told me that my withdrawal was being checked and will be honoured later. I was not comfortable with this site anymore and decided to withdraw the remaining 30 usdt on my account and curiously that payout went through. I received that withdrawal request but the bigger one is not being paid for 2 days and they have also stopped responding on live chat. I really can't explain otherwise than they are scam or failing betting site.

The 30$ withdrawal went through because it was less than what you deposited, basically every casino that is not a total scam processes instantly as long as you withdraw a lower amount than your deposit history. Problem is always getting winnings (profit) out of the sites because that's when they often enough want to know who you are, so they ask for KYC and come up with random checks. Of course if you only lose no such checks would emerge.
Anyway, since they already showed "willingness" to withdraw I wouldn't call them a scam if I was you. Just wait a bit, those 86$ won't change your life so you can wait a bit.
I understand that it's actually ridiculous for a casino to "check" such tiny withdrawals, but that's how it works sometimes. It's all a scheme often enough. They want the player to get frustrated, maybe cancel the withdrawal and lose the money in the process. Just wait and if they still refuse payment after some more time you can still update here.
