Maybe you've already gotten a better explanation about what you asked, so I won't go into that. But I'm just speaking from my own experience that I use Blue Wallet on my mobile devices (Android and iPhone). So far, my experience has been really good using that wallet, and the interface will definitely make things easier for you as a beginner. This wallet has been used by many users here and is always recommended (besides Electrum). As for hardware wallets, I don't really know much because recent cases involving hardware wallets have made it harder for me to recommend one.

I'd stay away from Electrum on android also. I hardly doubt it's been properly maintained.
I don't think it's that bad.
Electrum for android is not a separate project, it is part of the main project [1] so the backend is identical so every work done on the Electrum project is also done to Electrum Android. The front-end is different to be able to run on an android device. And looking at the code it seems active enough [2].

Electrum and 🔵 Bluewallet are the best in android or mobile devices but I saw some dichotomy between the two. Electrum wallet does not work in Iphone but 🔵 Bluewallet works in android and Iphone devices and another thing is Electrum wallet is easier to use than 🔵 Bluewallet base on UI.

And all the people I know around my region who are into bitcoin investment or trading are using Electrum wallet. And any updates (software update or upgrade) the developers do, it has effect immediately on the android version of the software. So you are right that they're not separately operating but it is an integral part of the software.

Electrum is a Multi-Signature wallet, that requires more than one private key to authorize a transaction.
I think your post could be misleading to someone who isn't very familiar with Electrum.
Electrum allows creating multi-signture wallets, but it's not necessarily a multi-signature wallet. You can create both single-signature and multi-signature wallets in Electrum.

Thank you very much for the correction. Maybe I didn't have a total graps about the content I read from an article about Electrum before dropping that comment. I will correct that immediately.

Sparrow wallet is best amongst wallet choices.
That is for you specifically. As for me all non custodial wallets are good in one way to the other. But I have not used sparrow wallet so I can't make much input in it but for Bluewallet and Electrum wallet are more common among bitcoin users. And why Electrum is more common is because it is users friendly and easy to use. And I believed all are well secured if the user keep the seed in a safe place and must be an offline.

Are you aware of the recent hack of the Ledger hardware wallet? If yes, then you should get a lot of answers from there on how hard it is to choose a hardware wallet. If not yet noticed, then read the news on top of the forum; it’s been reflecting on the left side of the search button.

However, I have also been using the Trezor wallet besides the Ledger Nano. I am not going to trust any more Ledger wallets. So if you want to buy a multi-currency hardware wallet, then you may keep Trezor at your choice. Wait for other users advise as well, but you have to take the right decision. Just make sure you are choosing an open-source hardware wallet and secure your seed phrase safely.

I am also seeing many fraud cases about hardware wallets, software, and even exchange cases. Then saying this is not wrong: we are living in such a time where trusting anything becomes harder. These days, every single case leaves a shocking sign behind it, as the way users are being scammed is really something very surprising.

I am also one of those who are really looking for a really trusted wallet. By the way, you have used a Trezor wallet; how is your experience with this wallet? Is it recommended or not?

And in case we talk about software wallets, like Electrum or Trust Wallet, what is your opinion on this? Well, I have not used the Electrum wallet to store long-term funds till now, but I used it to sign messages for security purposes.

Regarding Trust Wallet, what I have analyzed so far is that, while using Trust Wallet to make transactions, it sometimes delays the transaction for a longer period of time, which I don't like about it.

All these things aside, our main concern should be security, right? What if I ask you for your opinion or suggestion: which wallet do you think is more recommended for storing long-term funds? Electrum or Trust?

Trustwallet is a close-source wallet and since there is no way to know how it generates the keys, you should avoid it.
Electrum is good, but if you use it on an online device, like any other other hot wallet, it's prone to hacking. If you want to be completely secure, you should use Electrum offline on an air-gapped device.

Thank you, mate, for sharing your valuable opinion on this matter.

Yeah, I understand the nuance of this matter that exporting the main wallet to any random wallet can compromise security in no time. And I really don't make such mistakes.

Using the Android version of Electrum is ok? If so, I was thinking that I have a spare mobile phone device which I can keep offline for the long term and will not connect to any wifi at any random place. I will keep it safe in some secure place, maybe in my personal drawer, and obviously that drawer stays locked most of the time. Is this fine to make sure my funds are safe for long-term holding using electrum this way?

This is fine in my opinion. Although personally, I haven't done it with a mobile phone but with an old lappy. It worked for me and my choice back then was Electrum.

Just make sure that you have a back up of your seed and then that drawer should be out of reach of any from your family.

I guess that's the first risk that you'll have to deal with, and it's with who you are living with.

Tbh sparrow wallet is just like electrum with almost the same features but is more modern. I will suggest it more for desktop users. Its just that, sparrow doesn't have android version yet, unlike electrum. As for the idea of all non custodial wallets are good , i would say its not, especially the closed source ones. Wallets that has huge support from open source community is always the best way to support and use as well.

Not all are secured or safe even if the user practices offline storage like using the wallet in an airgpap device. One clear example is the closed source wallet, you’re not sure of whether the it generates enough entropy or the base minimum require entropy or your seed phrase isn’t recovered or stored some where else when you generate them. If all this happens where the seed phrase is kept someone or no enough entropy on the generated seed phrases then even offline use of your wallet wouldn’t make it secure
