Are you aware of the
recent hack of the Ledger hardware wallet? If yes, then you should get a lot of answers from there on how hard it is to choose a hardware wallet. If not yet noticed, then read the news on top of the forum; it’s been reflecting on the left side of the search button.
However, I have also been using the Trezor wallet besides the Ledger Nano. I am not going to trust any more Ledger wallets. So if you want to buy a multi-currency hardware wallet, then you may keep Trezor at your choice. Wait for other users advise as well, but you have to take the right decision. Just make sure you are choosing an open-source hardware wallet and secure your seed phrase safely.
I am also seeing many fraud cases about hardware wallets, software, and even exchange cases. Then saying this is not wrong: we are living in such a time where trusting anything becomes harder. These days, every single case leaves a shocking sign behind it, as the way users are being scammed is really something very surprising.
I am also one of those who are really looking for a really trusted wallet. By the way, you have used a Trezor wallet; how is your experience with this wallet? Is it recommended or not?
And in case we talk about software wallets, like Electrum or Trust Wallet, what is your opinion on this? Well, I have not used the Electrum wallet to store long-term funds till now, but I used it to sign messages for security purposes.
Regarding Trust Wallet, what I have analyzed so far is that, while using Trust Wallet to make transactions, it sometimes delays the transaction for a longer period of time, which I don't like about it.
All these things aside, our main concern should be security, right? What if I ask you for your opinion or suggestion: which wallet do you think is more recommended for storing long-term funds? Electrum or Trust?
