This should be from last month release version because a user on Reddit complained about the same experience.
Trust Wallet removed the option to manually edit the Bitcoin transaction fee on iOS, and I honestly don't understand this decision.
Now I only get three options under Fee Settings: Fast, Standard, and Economy.I selected Fast for a BTC transaction, trusting that Trust Wallet would choose an appropriate fee. The result? My transaction has been pending for over an hour, and 8 Bitcoin blocks have been mined since I sent it.
The transaction was sent with a fee rate of only ~1 sat/vB (280 sats for 279 vB). And because the transaction isn't RBF-enabled, I can't simply bump the fee afterward either.
What's the point of calling an option "Fast" if the wallet decides that ~1 sat/vB is appropriate and gives the user no ability to override it?
Advanced users should be allowed to set the fee rate manually. You can keep Fast / Standard / Economy as the default for regular users, but removing manual fee control entirely is a huge step backwards.

I do wonder if these devs know exactly what they are doing. Transaction fees are measured in sats/vbytes, but they decided to make it currency. How bad this design may look is that you can pay a fee as high in dollars, and it may stay unconfirmed, and there is no way you can bump the fee because Trust Wallet does not support RBF.
I am sure they were going to lose some user for this types of development, like, me.
You seem to like Trust Wallet, why not try Bluewallet instead. It supports BIP39 and Electrum seed, and it's available for iOS and Android. If you are using Trust Wallet because of alts, Cake is a very good alternative, it supports coin control and customizable fees in sats.
I haven't tried BlueWallet, but I tried the Cake wallet, and yeah I used this as an alternative to Trust Wallet when I saw that Trust Wallet did not support XMR.
@Crypto Library
I am surprised that you have been on this forum since 2021, but you are still using Trust wallet for anything that has to do with bitcoin despite the limited nodes that the wallet is supporting. When mempool congestion occurs, people will start complaining again.
The wallet is not open source also.
It is better you use a better wallet like Electrum or Bluewallet.
Actually, I use electrum/cake/Unstoppable and then Trust Wallet all in a circular manner, and use them for one task at a time.
However, the status of Trust Wallet will have to be permanently shifted from here on out.
