If you are referring to Bitcoin, then the governments of countries that have legalized it should add it to the their school curriculum, so that student can understand how it works, its potential benefits and risks, and how to use it responsibly before they start making decisions involving cryptocurrencies. But if you are referring to cryptocurrencies, I don't think they should be added to the school curriculum as a whole because not all cryptocurrencies are worth learning about.
Government can not add cryptocurrency in the national curriculum, they have not trusted cryptocurrency till date, if government will add cryptocurrency in the national curriculum learning, it will not have it is own specification, it will be sub course and programme under accounting department, having cryptocurrency as a head of department it will be something that will happen in future by the time they have known the lifespan bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can ascertain

~ Idk what you guys think, but imo, Bitcoin or any kind of investing has no place in the regular school curriculum. Schools should focus on the basics: core knowledge, critical thinking, practical skills, and basic financial literacy. Don't put the get rich quick mindset into kids' heads or turn them into gamblers at such an early age. That's not how you set them up for the future.
This is actually a nice take, and that’s why I’m more about teaching the students (obviously college students in this case) about the Blockchain tech and DLT because this are real technologies that can be used to build great things not necessarily just monetary like crypto. That’s how to set them up for the future.. It’s terrible for a child to have that kinda “rich quick” mindset and it’d just probably lead them towards losing money to scams wrong investments.

Part of the reason why many people fall for crypto currency scam on the promises of getting rich quick through crypto is because they lack the knowledge of crypto currency and how it works, anyone who truly understands the volatile nature of crypto currencies will fund it hard to fall for such promises of getting rich quick scammers.

If bitcoin is totally legalized in one's country, then there's no reason that it will not be adopted in the school curriculum. However, we all know the stance of bitcoin in most of the countries so I don't think it will be possible for bitcoin, or cryptocurrency in general.
The only thing that the school can help us is to offer course understanding about blockchain technology. That way, the teaching isn't actually focused on bitcoin, its more on a general. But this can only happen if the government will also cooperate and will give this chance for the young minds to be educated about blockchain techonology.

Snip.
As a subject to be introduced into educational curricullum, I prefer it is called financial education or something with a broader meaning that covers cryptocurrency, blockchain technology and other related skills and it be updated from time to time, than just called crypto or blockchain technology. I feel that there is a need to know more than just investing in cryptocurrency, people also need to learn how to manage the money when it comes as a profit from the investments made, and also the other opportunities. That is very correct because, when it comes to crypto currency which includes Bitcoin and Altcoins what majority of the people know about is just investing. Which there is a big need for people to actually get to Know in detail, not just about making money and this is the reason why we should be thinking about exposing these young one's early to crypto related activities such as young ones learning about crypto currency because it's part of the learning process.

I've seen different variations of this topic on the forum multiple times. Crypto is not necessary in schools. There is no reason why crypto should be in the curriculum of schools. What should happen, in my opinion, is simply to include it in subjects that have a financial system or something similar and just have an introduction to digital currencies and crypto. As much as I like Bitcoin, I don't think it is significant enough to be one of the things that is necessary for the development of school children. Bitcoin and crypto are something that people can easily learn on their own if they want to. It is complicated, but the basics of it are pretty simple. What schools should teach students is the financial system and money. People need to know how money works and how the financial market and economy work. They need to understand financial assets and real assets. It is in the process of learning about the financial market that they can be given an introduction to Bitcoin and crypto, because it is now also part of the financial market.

Even in a situation or a country where Bitcoin gets to be legalized it is still possible that it is not included in the educational curriculum to be taught officially in schools Rather it will just have a lot more mention from teachers when they teach economic subjects relating to finance, the economy and investment in schools. They could mention it even without teaching and sharing any in depth knowledge about it. If you have anyone of age who you think should know about cryptocurrency you do not need to wait for them to be introduced to it by another person probably their teachers in school, you can go ahead and start giving them proper education about it because education on cryptocurrency should not only happen within the walls of a school, but it can also happen at home or even during a conversation with someone in any place.

Future Career Opportunities It should be noted that Blockchain technology has grown past just cryptocurrency investing and trading only because, blockchain technology has helped create career opportunities in areas such as cryptograph, software development, cybersecurity, financial technology which these young ones can grow up and embrace.
There's now a clear path for those people who will pursue their career in the blockchain sector. It's not only about crypto but also projects and services which will serve other companies for its purpose. It has widen the IT sector as an added industry where people can master the trade and skill they have for those you've said. Just like AI, it's currently in the early stage and I think we're not yet on the peak of it. But if it's quick to reach the peak, I'm afraid that the curbing down of the careers on this path will also happen dramatically.

Even if we want to add Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency to the curriculum in the textbook, there must be a positive response from the government in that country regarding Cryptocurrency. Especially if we explain it in the context of my country, the government of my country is still against Bitcoin and the central bank is always issuing warnings against Bitcoin. Now, if we add Bitcoin to the National Curriculum in this situation, then it goes against the government's policy, which the government of my country will never accept. If there was something positive about Bitcoin in the country and the government and the central bank were in favor of Bitcoin, then maybe the National Curriculum would have included some education about Bitcoin for students. That is why most countries do not include Bitcoin in their textbooks so far.

I quite agree that cryptocurrency and blockchain should be included in the educational curriculum. After all, cryptocurrency can already be considered a part of modern finance, and understanding it can help students get to know what cryptocurrency and blockchain technology really are.
The only thing that needs to be emphasized is solidifying students' understanding of financial literacy before they get introduced to it. How can students be forced to understand cryptocurrency when they don't even have a basic understanding of how money works or what the traditional financial system is. Students should first learn the fundamentals, and only then can they be introduced to topics like that.
Having kids lose money by accident or due to scammers is not a good image for cryptocurrency. And the current landscape is not beginner friendly and very obviously not children friendly. We need to work on many user end aspects of crypto as well as maintaining a more secure and easy to navigate landscape.

Why Start in Schools.
Education can help build a generation that understands cryptocurrency before entering the market. This will help shape the next generation of people know and appriciates what crypto currency is before even ever going into the market, with this the next generation of those going into crypto currency will have an edge, this is very important because it will help students acquire basic knowledge and information through a formal educational setting which will be included in the educational curriculum
There are many courses for people to learn about blockchain, Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, from free ones to paid ones. [LIST] Blockchain courses.[LIST] Institutions offering blockchain courses and programs in the world. With Internet, people can find many free educational resources for learning, it's only they are ready to search, and learn with free resources. https://learnmeabitcoin.com/Bitcoin info & resources. If they don't want to learn, even you register a course, pay the fee for them, they will not actually learn.

Bitcoin does have real potential, I've never denied that. But sadly, it's not essential foundational knowledge everybody needs to have. It's not only road to getting rich either. We are investors but let's be real about this. If we're gonna introduce Bitcoin into school curriculum just because it has the potential to make people money, why stop there? Should we add stocks and gold too? Those markets have minted way more rich people than crypto and Bitcoin ever did. Schools shouldn't be turned into promotional hubs for investment vehicles just because they have profit potential. Basic financial literacy, critical thinking, and creativity matter a lot more for kids. That's all I'm getting at.
