That said, the precedent itself is fascinating after all, anyone would love to get paid for not posting anything, though over time it would likely become tedious, and the urge to post publicly would return. Lol, that's hilarious, and a smart move too..Who names their child after a casino when there are so many other names to choose from? No wonder some people have names that sound strange to others. It's all just a promotional strategy, and a clever one at that. Both the casino and the influencer stand to gain a lot from it. Imagine how many people would visit her channel just to see the child who was named after a casino. And how many others would visit the casino's website out of curiosity to find out what they offer and why they paid so much to have a child named after them. Nowadays, casinos or advertisements are made differently so that others do not understand whether it was an advertisement or something else. However, the main goal is to implement the primary purpose of attracting the attention of the general public. There have been many changes in the advertising style of casinos. I think this is normal. If people see the same type of advertisement every time, people do not pay attention to it. If someone can show something different, then it will come to people's attention. If an advertisement was advertised like a normal advertisement, there would be no concern about it, but when there is a controversy, there is discussion and criticism about that issue and people then know about it well. Yeah, that could probably get Shuffle more engagement from whoever watches that guy, but personally, I think making the guy shut up for 6 months is better, and to be honest, if this is actually real and not some staged marketing ploy, then kudos to Shuffle for doing it. Except he did not know, this whole thing is becoming an issue now because he did not fully understand the terms of his contract and that's why he's complaining about it now and trying to find a way to reverse it, he has already talked about involving his lawyers which makes me wonder, why didn't they fully explain it to him or did he sign the contract without his lawyer, that has to be the case because if he had fully understood that he would not be able to post online for 6 months i think he would have tried to renegotiate the deal or maybe even turn it down altogether.

Sounds to me like it's only a publicity stunt and there was no "oops I didn't read the fine print". One of the hardest things about being a streamer is you need to keep putting out new content otherwise your audience will wither away. He's going to lose some viewers from this but it gives him a cover story at least, it's not his choice but this bad CEO paid me not to post for a while. In the process it also creates controversy and as we see people are talking about him, he may even get some fresh viewers who go off and watch him back catalog while he takes a holiday. People like this will have lawyers reviewing new contracts so it's highly unlikely to have happened by accident or using trickery as claimed.

6 months is a long time as a contract. If this is just hype or PR, they should've made it shorter. I mean, it could've been a contract only for days because they want to make something that will be talked about on social media, especially about the crypto gambling site that paid for it. I really can't stand famous people. I get it is human nature to want to have as many people as possible like you and pay attention to you while you grow fatter and richer. Seems like a good life to most of us, right?

I don't think this was planned. But if it were then it is brilliant. The funny thing about this is that, another company might do it with serious planning and not even go viral. So successful planing might not give the right outcome. This is seen as normal as you can't say what will happen next.
