We’ve had another attempted scam on the forum. I think the ANN itself could serve as a reference thread, but as this isn’t the usual practice, I’ve decided to create this one.

This is the casino’s ANN:

Crygodi.com | Crypto Online Casino | Welcome bonus(real money)| No wager

He tries to bait with a $5 no wagering requirements welcome bonus but you need to deposit at least $10 first, which raises the first red flag.

People listed as the team are AI generated images.

Also:

So many things are not right in this casino; they claimed to have 1 plus year of experience but checking on whois they are only four months old and just registered in June of this year Crygodi Whois they claimed to have 50k happy players, but look at their social media accounts, they only have 10 combined followers at most.
For them to operate in many countries, they should have a license. I don't see any.

And:

there is no 50k player on the site lmao just took a look at their backend, there are generating fake winners and mockup accounts bruh

The OP doesn't respond to the allegations, and there is a bit more but you can check the thread yourselves.

I think these are enough reasons to support a newbie warning flag.

The flag: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3599

Spotted well.

I don't understand how these fake casinos manage to collaborate with slot aggregators and display the games on their website. As far as I know, the casino must sign an NDA with the slot aggregator's brand, make a security deposit to cover their GGR, and only then can they get the API to integrate the 3rd party slots. I don't understand if these scammers actually spend around $5K to start a scam casino website unless they can manage to make way more by scamming the players.

Also, I know some Indian fake slot aggregator companies that actually supply fake casino games with go servers. I assume these scammers might use such services to display the 3rd party games on their website. Flag supported Pedro Dinero.

I have read their announcement. It looks suspicious to me as well, like Ponzi schemes; they have been asking for deposits as well, which is the biggest red flag. They don’t have wagering requirements but have to unlock withdrawals. Doesn’t make sense to me for such a bonus. Also, there is a minimum withdrawal, which is bigger than the minimal deposit amount.

However, thanks for creating that allegation. We have to avoid such scammy gambling platforms. Their aim seems to just simply scam us. They haven't even given effort to create an announcement thread, just simply posting with their scammy content.

The fake profiles found in the site's code are very suspicious. Scam sites often use such tricks to make the site look active and get people to deposit. The $5 no-wager bonus is also questionable, as users have to deposit first to withdraw it.

Considering all this and the casino representative not answering these questions, people should stay away from this site.

Thanks for creating this thread; at least this will serve as a warning to those who are always hunting for bonus offers from casinos, especially the newly introduced gambling casinos. We need to think twice before we accept any offer intended to captivate our attention to use the platform; some are not real because their offers are too good to be true. At least this will save some ass from their trap.

Honestly, I don't even see a reason why someone would want to try this out just to see how things go. Why should I deposit my money in a platform if I already have doubts about it? It doesn't matter if it's only $10, money is money. The concept of depositing $10 to get $5 bonus just doesn't sit right with me, and couple with other red flags makes everything feel so off.

Personally this kind of offers doesn't move me at all. The sad part is that, not everyone will come across this thread and some users might fall victim to this. Mostly those players that like jumping from one casino to another looking for free bonus.

For most of us, $10 isn't much money, but if you collect deposits from hundreds or even thousands of people, it becomes a lot of money. Then the platform can take all those deposits, shut the site down and run away with the money.

Asking users to deposit money to unlock a bonus or withdraw their funds is a common trick on scam sites. We all know this trick very well.

Even if not everyone sees this thread or the warning on the casino owner's forum posts,I've reported the site already to HOSTINGER, and they're reviewing my report. I'll also report the domain to MetaMask so they can block it. Hopefully, this will help protect others in the crypto community.

The OP doesn't respond to the allegations
That is very typical of scammers as soon as they know they are busted, what they'd do is go silent and try to come back with another modus operandi, and see if that would work. Flag supported!
Personally this kind of offers doesn't move me at all.
It is a very cheap scam, and is so easy to spot. I mean it when i say i would be really surprised if anybody falls for this. There are so many reputable casinos in bitcointalk, so much that i hardly even bother trying out new casinos.

i haven't seen such a lazy scam casino attempt like this in a while.
their domain is already blocked by metamask, so there gonna be less victimes hopfuly.

those clowns are also using stripe to accept fiat deposits, which i'm pretty sure is against their terms:

it would be nice if we could get that account restricted and stripe possibly refund anyone who might have been scammed: https://support.stripe.com/questions/how-do-i-report-a-complaint-to-stripe

this is the merchant name: NEXOTIVE DIGITAL LTD
they even have a website: nexotivedigital.com

looks like they are some digital agency, i wonder if they are aware of what's going on? or maybe they are in on the scam.

Also, I know some Indian fake slot aggregator companies that actually supply fake casino games with go servers. I assume these scammers might use such services to display the 3rd party games on their website.
probably, but what i want to know is how they do it for live casino games from pragmatic and evolution? do they rip the stream and add their own overlay on top?
i just compared the ice fishing game, and the stream from this scam casino is the same as the one on legit casinos, it's the same dealer/rounds. the only different thing i noticed is you can't set your own display username, send messages, or see other players messages.

I saw the thread too and you guys are right about it, my impression that it's a template website that probably bought for few bucks and the other sections are still on going and said to be in maintenance. Thanks OP!

The no wager might entice some gamblers who are after the bonus, it's an easy deception that some might fall. And even it's only a couple of dollars, it still a scam and these scammers won't choose their victims as long as they get the money and it become theirs. They have an idea that many gamblers are after the bonuses and doesn't like to comply with any wagering requirements so, that tagline of 'no wager' they think might work.
