in this thread, i’d like to introduce you to the new Bron wallet.
its a multicurrency wallet that allows you to do more than just send/receive BTC. Bron is available as a desktop and a mobile (iOS and Android) version.
it’s also worth mentioning that Bron uses the MPC (Multi-Party Computation) method which is then used when an address is created.
as you can see in the graphic, this means that three parties each control a shard

here are a few useful links about Bron:

https://github.com/bronlabs/bron-crypto

This looks more like a paid service than a typical Bitcoin/Crypto wallet.

I'm not saying it's bad though, it's just it's not accessible to all and the marketed features don't exactly sound self-custodial.
I'm not willing to check their source code to double-check their claims.

Since qualifying balances determine our membership tier, and each tier seems to come with a different set of features, I think this wallet is better suited for large institutions [they even mentioned it in their FAQ].

Even though two independent companies [according to them, Bron and Qrypt aren't connected] will hold the remaining shards, I still would've preferred another recovery option that didn't rely on either of them.
- BTW, UK residents aren't allowed to use it (screenshot)!

They differentiate it with personal/business accounts though. Weirdly the personal ones also comes with different accounts. I guess this "personal" label is in regard to private businesses owners instead of pure individual users. Them having a free 14-day trial also seems to suggest it's a wallet as a service instead of competitors to Electrum and the likes of them. They have mobile and PC app but it seems there's no way to easily view the UI, UX, and so on. CMIIW.
