SUMUWW — Open Connections, Greater Tomorrow.

One step. New possibilities.
Create your own wallet, send and receive coins, and take part in the blockchain network through mining.

Built on its own blockchain and independently verified by its participants, SUMUWW is a cryptocurrency shaped by the people who use it.

About SUMUWW

SUMUWW is a cryptocurrency for peer-to-peer payments, powered by Proof of Work (PoW) mining and independent validation by each node.

Validated transactions are recorded on SUMUWW’s blockchain when they are included in a block. Participants independently verify transactions and blocks using the same consensus rules.

SUMUWW aims to sustain an independent blockchain network through participant validation and consensus, without requiring individual approval from a central administrator.

Your Own Wallet, Peer-to-Peer Payments

Create your own wallet and sign transactions with your private key. Send and receive SMW without individual approval from a central administrator. Transactions are verified by the network before being recorded on the blockchain.

Proof of Work Mining

Participants can perform Proof of Work computations on their own devices to help create new blocks. Miners who produce valid blocks receive mining rewards according to the network’s rules.

An Independent Blockchain with Node Validation

SUMUWW runs on its own blockchain. Each node independently checks a block’s Proof of Work, difficulty, rewards, transaction signatures, and balance requirements. Blocks and transactions that fail to meet the consensus rules are rejected.

A Defined Supply and Clear Rules

SUMUWW’s maximum supply is 17,999,999.9769 SMW—approximately 18 million coins.

New coins are issued through block rewards determined by block height and the halving schedule. Transaction fees are paid from existing coins and do not increase the coin supply.

Each node verifies that block rewards and transaction fee payments comply with the consensus rules.

A Network You Can Verify and Participate In

Participants can examine SUMUWW’s source code and network rules to understand how it works. Anyone can use a wallet, mine, or operate a node under the same validation rules.

Downloads and source code

Windows 0.57.18 — application, source code, checksums and whitepaper

Android 0.6.45 — APK, source code and checksums

GitHub

Installation: Extract the entire ZIP archive and run SUMUWW.exe. Keep all included files and folders together, including the _internal folder.

Mining requirements: Open your wallet, connect to peers, and complete blockchain synchronization. Mining waits until these conditions are met. Running the application alone does not earn rewards.

Wallet security: Back up your wallet and keep your password and recovery phrase secure. Never share them with anyone.

Thank you for your interest. SUMUWW does not currently have an official Discord server.

Thank you for your question. You can check the block height and synchronization status directly in the SUMUWW mining application.

Thanks for the updates, and i do see that now once synced.
is there a setting to where we can chose how many threads to mine with, as mine is not using much cpu at all

Thank you for your interest and participation in SUMUWW.

Your participation helped me identify issues with peer discovery and address sharing. Updated versions are available with changes to these functions.

Resolution of the previously reported Android connection-count discrepancy has not yet been confirmed with more than four reachable, distinct nodes in the live public network.

Windows 0.57.20: Download
Android 0.6.52: Download

Thank you for helping improve SUMUWW.

SUMUWW update — Windows 0.57.20 / Android 0.6.52

Your interest and participation helped me discover problems and fix the specific issues described below. Thank you for helping improve SUMUWW.

Changes
  • Improved IPv4/IPv6 peer discovery, including IPv6 DHT lookup and announcement using an active public listening address.
  • Updated listening-address sharing and reconnect handling. Different IPv4/IPv6 routes to the same node are recognized as one peer.
  • Automatic discovery retries more frequently while the healthy connection target is unmet.
  • Rebuilt the bundled Android I2P router to fix startup failures on 16 KB memory-page devices.
  • Corrected clipped vertical Mongolian action captions in narrow Android layouts.
Checks completed
  • Windows regression suite: 1,130 tests, no failures or errors; 5 skipped.
  • Android core regression suite: 312 tests, no failures or errors; 1 skipped.
  • Checked Android screen routes and repeated language switching across all 34 language options, including preservation of entered transaction drafts.
  • Tested bundled Tor/I2P startup, local proxy/SAM communication and shutdown in a 16 KB Android emulator using the release APK.
  • After updating a real phone, it automatically reconnected to three distinct nodes while my main PC node was stopped. Actual TCP connections, app statistics and the displayed count agreed, and block synchronization continued.
  • Checked whitepaper/document consistency, source and release files, and SHA-256 checksums.
Verification still pending
The earlier Android connection-count discrepancy still needs verification with more than four reachable, distinct nodes in the live public network. The three-peer check above does not establish that the original issue is resolved.

The current version does not support manually adjusting the number of CPU mining threads. Increasing the thread count would not necessarily increase mining speed proportionally or guarantee rewards.

GPU mining becomes available in the official application at verified block height 12,000. I chose CPU mining for the initial stage because I wanted more people to have an opportunity to mine SUMUWW using ordinary computers.

Please help spread the word about SUMUWW. Thank you for your interest and participation!

SUMUWW Explorer 0.4.0 is now available

You can browse blocks and transactions, view mining rewards separately from ordinary transfers, and inspect address histories, balances and unspent outputs.

The explorer also includes fee and local mempool analysis, related transactions, mining and difficulty statistics, transaction filters and sorting, historical balance and period analysis, charts, CSV exports, Merkle inclusion proofs, and PDF transaction receipts and reports. The interface includes 33 languages.

Downloads and source code
GitHub release — Windows application, source code and SHA-256 checksums

Extract the entire Windows ZIP and run start-explorer.cmd or SUMUWW-Explorer.exe. No separate Python installation is required for the Windows application.

This is a local explorer that reads your synchronized SUMUWW node database. It opens http://127.0.0.1:8770 on your own computer; it is not a publicly hosted explorer website. It does not synchronize a node, mine, access wallet keys or send transactions. Data and confirmations reflect the selected node's active chain. Custom database paths are supported as explained in the included README.

Validation: 79 reader/analytics tests and 40 UI unit tests passed.

Thank you for your interest, participation and feedback.

AI-assisted release summary, reviewed against the packaged documentation and test results.
