According to a post on X, Gamdom noticed a hack targeting their hot wallet system and took action to stop the leak; in total, they lost just over $3 million due to the hack and moved the remaining funds from their hot wallets to cold wallets.

I think we should wait for the official announcement before concluding that the gambling site has been hacked. What was seen from Gandom was unauthorized connection on one of their automation servers.

It was said that users funds are safe, but which we can not believe for now because of the transfer of such amount of money. So we can not believe the gambling site wallet has not been hacked until an official statement that says otherwise.

Lucky they were able to stop it on time and move their remaining balance to their cold storage. I hope they can come back online as soon as possible, like they said, and update on their X official page.

Wow. another day, another hack.
3M$ seems like a small amount. I would say that they are very lucky. Duelbits got hacked and lost about 7M$ in September. It seems the hack is going round.
These crypto casinos should not say, it can't be me, and just do nothing. They better stress-test their system before it gets to them.
On the other hand, what I like about user funds is that the casinos always find a way to pay back those who was affected if any to keep their reputation.
Anyways, looking forward to their official statement.

Most gamblers are losing money, I do not expect gambling sites to have high amount of money on their hot wallet. They supposed to have it on their cold wallet instead.

Not so... Do not let any other casino become a victim of exploitation from irresponsible people, using Hotwallet only for withdrawal and deposit activities, the rest of the reserves are in cold wallets, manual withdrawals? Obviously it's boring for the player.

With what I am seeing, the gambling site will up sooner. Gambling sites are very wise because most of their money are on offline wallet. So if their hot wallet is hacked, only the amount of money that will not affect the gambling site will be taken by the hackers. Have you not noticed that all the gambling sites that are getting hacked are getting back online? It will not be surprising if Gandom get back up.

We've already seen numerous successful hacker attacks on online casinos in 2026. However, the targets aren't limited to online casinos, but also DeFi projects, hardware wallets, and much more. 🤷

In my opinion, this hacker activity is linked to the emergence of new, sophisticated AI models that can be used to find vulnerabilities in online platform systems.

For example, Gamdom casino used smart contracts to organize its withdrawal system. This was an added convenience for casino users, as withdrawals to their wallets were processed faster. However, hackers exploited this feature to carry out a successful attack.

What will this lead to? Online casinos will likely become more concerned about their security (possibly even at the expense of user comfort). And that's very sad. Although, of course, no customer wants their money stolen by hackers.

As for Gamdom casino (I remember it well from an ad on a forum, although I never played there), it's a fairly large casino.  I think it will easily be able to cover the losses with its own funds and will soon be fully operational. $2.3 million is certainly a large sum, but I'm confident these financial losses won't lead to the casino's closure. 🙋

Hackers are making exploit these days and it is becoming alarm in as they are getting hold of various life online platform by any chances they have to take advantage over them, it is high time we don't play with the security to our wallet and other online platform operator should be more careful by setting up more advanced measures to ensure that hackers do not penetrate in through their system.

I don’t understand why they leave such a high amount on the hot wallet, especially with how casinos are being exploited now. A few hundred thousand should be enough on the hot wallet after all. Any withdrawal that’s high always leads to manual approval; it will make no difference if the casinos can limit more of what they keep in the hot wallet.

The gambling sites are still professional about it as all of them that have been hacked did not shutdown permanently after they were hacked. They only shutdown hours to like 2 days and continue their gambling service operation.

Stake, Duelbits, Metawin and Raze have been hacked before, but all of them continue providing gambling services to their customers. Also Gandom probability of providing gambling service after the hack is very high.

What that makes the gambling sites get back online will probably be that they only have few of their money on hot wallet and most of the money the gambling sites have in relation to the amount lost to the hack are lost already by customers.

Forget about manual withdrawals, I don't think any company these days should operate that way, or they'll lose users easily

Another day, another hack. Can we just have one peaceful day --- every day we're just being told about this hack and that hack.

But that's how it is, the potential for hacks will always exist no matter how well they design their security --- there will always be a loophole that hackers can exploit to break into their system. Luckily, they still have a chance to move most of their assets to cold storage, otherwise it could be a huge disaster for them. Hopefully, they can solve the problem and get back to normal operations.

Not really the AI running 247 on Casino, AI is helping more and more criminals to spot and exploit loop holes on these platforms  easily. At the same time, it can also create more loop holes just as it can spot them.

It was really getting different because hackers are really doing a lot these days, it seems like they are also getting a huge upgrade because of AI, maybe? Seems like casinos and gambling websites are becoming the next big target for these hackers, last time, exchanges were getting hacked here and there. Still, usually they would easily recover from this, since they have funds to still operate.

They were already under maintenance, I can't access it anymore. Also, I don't see any direct contact here on the forum to the casino.

Well, that's a pretty good number for sure. They are going to recover from this, but for sure this is going to affect their users since I wouldn't going to easily trust a casino if they were recently hack I would probably prefer to try another casino, even though I usually wasn't gambling there.

$3M$ is not really a small amount pal, compared to what duelbits lost it's quite low but it still doesn't change the fact 3 million dollars is quite a lot, sometimes it is easy to call figures when those amounts of money are not in cash. I think whoever hacked duelbits might be responsible for this also.

Exactly, till now I still find it hard to believe that duelbits got hacked, it is a clear indication that this can happen with any casino, now is the time to make sure security systems in the site to make sure that it's completely safe for players.

This cases of hacking of cryptocurrency platform is becoming a monthly occurrence and surely not looking good in any way. We have not forgotten the hack of Duelbits, we are faced with another one in less than a month. What is really wrong that makes these hacks so easy now? Could this be the result of AI? I understand that AI can easily be deployed to test for vulnerability of a platform, maybe this is how the hackers are exploiting these platforms.

This is quite an unfortunate news that another popular crypto casino have just been hacked of $3milion, which is just less than 3weeks after Duelbits casino was also hacked of $7million from his casino wallet. And with this news, I think this is a wake up call to the rest crypto casinos to be more serious about it's security. Because just as Duelbits and now Gamdom have just been hacked, I won't be surprised to see more high profile crypto casinos to prioritize its wallet and account security. Because the rate at which these hackers are going is becoming very alarming and needs urgent attention.
