This past few weeks, more hacks has been targeting anything related to crypto. Both centralised and decentralised platforms, including casinos too. The more focus now seems to be targeting casino's. The rest of the big casino's guys should get ready. Anything can happen and they should be very ready to tackle the matter heads on.
Yes, this is AI time where they are very useful for hackers. It can be noticed already that gambling sites should be very careful because hackers are focusing on them now and also focusing on other areas of cryptocurrencies. If other gambling sites are not careful and take security as too priority, they are probably going to be hacked.

Lucky they were able to stop it on time and move their remaining balance to their cold storage. I hope they can come back online as soon as possible, like they said, and update on their X official page.

Which casino is going to be next? Or should the casino now leave the minimum amount on their hot wallet and be handling withdrawals manually in order to stay safe from these hackers? But that’s going to be boring and slow for players.

To me I think if casino should go through that route of  handling withdrawal manually, it will of course address the problem of online attacks, but will also create more problems as most players are not patient when it comes to handling funds and withdrawal. A lot of people have run away from casinos that handle manual withdrawal because  it’s always slow, they prefer to register with fast paying casinos. The best way to go about this is just for the casinos to always stay updated and improving the security of their wallets.

If the likes of duelbit can be hacked, the n the cyber security team of most of the active casinos should be aware that that have a lot of work to be done because it is very possible that the hackers are already cracking a casino down without them noticing it. the revenue generated by most casino is actually much and it is no doubt why they are the main target. centralized exchange are equally not left out on this because they are all big fishes in the eyes of hackers.

I do not know what you are saying about this. You said casinos should be handling withdrawal manually but you also said many customers will leave the casino and that they should be updated and continue the fast withdrawal. Which side are you? I can not use a site that have slow withdrawal and I believe most gambers will not make use of such casinos. The casinos know themselves and they will not go to through such route.

Well, that's a pretty good number for sure. They are going to recover from this, but for sure this is going to affect their users since I wouldn't going to easily trust a casino if they were recently hack I would probably prefer to try another casino, even though I usually wasn't gambling there.

I don't know to what extent this influences whether or not users choose to use the casino
DuelBits was also hacked, but no users lost anything, and they continue to use the casino

I believe users should take the same precautions as they would with exchanges, or even be more cautious and not leave funds sitting idle
Deposit, bet, and withdraw after playing

Fees are generally very low, and it’s not worth leaving money sitting idle (just for a 1x wager, obviously)

I was using Biget before, I have continued to use Bitget after the hack of the exchange. I do not see any good reason I should not continue to use a hacked site so far customers were able to withdraw and if the site owners are able to handle the hack very well just like Duelbits did. If Gandom continue to operate and users are able to withdraw, their customers will even have more trust in them is the reality.

But I do not leave money on gambling sites and exchanges. I only use them to exchange coins and withdraw and to gamble.

I think we should wait for the official announcement before concluding that the gambling site has been hacked. What was seen from Gandom was unauthorized connection on one of their automation servers.

It was said that users funds are safe, but which we can not believe for now because of the transfer of such amount of money. So we can not believe the gambling site wallet has not been hacked until an official statement that says otherwise.

Edit:
If Felix Römer is the founder of Gandom, the $3 million hack is true according to his post on X.
Felix is the actual owner of Gamdom. We will not see an official statement from them on this forum, but stay tuned to X for updates as Felix will update everyone there as soon as there are updates. They also have a discord channel I have been paying attention to but just a lot of speculation in there, Felix doesn't actually post there often.

As long as users are not affected, they will still continue using these casinos as casino hacks are nothing new, I believe Duelbits is still getting its usual number of players and remains popular, right?

And Gamdom's founder Felix Römer has already assured players in a post that their funds are safe. So I don't think they would lie about that, especially since the casino is also licensed under Anjouan Gaming, although that doesn't necessarily guarantee anything. If they cannot recover financially, they might eventually have to file for bankruptcy.

By this way, they can protect their companies from losses, as well as the users' funds. I hope casinos will soon implement additional layers of security; to avoid user anxiety. It would be terrifying, if a casino we frequently play at were hacked, and hopefully, that doesn't happen.

Personally, I wouldn't mind if the withdrawal process at a casino was slowed down by manual processing; as long as it was for security reasons. I think other users would agree too.

The withdrawal process is a painful experience for many players, as some have previously encountered casinos that refused to process payouts, citing various excuses. Consequently, fast withdrawals are not something I am willing to compromise on. In any case, casinos need to address this issue given the attacks we’ve seen on certain platforms, it is likely that others will soon be targeted as well. Malicious actors are constantly looking for ways to steal funds, so casinos cannot afford to let their guard down when it comes to security.

A hacked gambling licensing company, and now this.

There seems to be a pattern in what they do, and it is all planned. Increasing security should be the main focus of their management, although I highly doubt they did not do that. They may have thought it was already a high-security system, but it was still hacked.
Anyway, with all this hacking just this year, I bet they are now looking for higher security measures, and I do hope other reputable online casinos will do the same. They are the targets now because of all the money that is coming in. They might as well think there's always an attack to their system.

What are those hackathon bounty program actually doing? I thought big ventures do launch a bounty program with hackers to try to hack their system or find fault and vulnerable spot on their platform and then get paid for doing that.

Are they lying about these bounty programs, why are we having series of hacks in the industry?

I think companies now rely on their team of developers and programmers to do that and so might not really require those external service of bounty hunters that are paid to discover bug or loopholes in a company's system, the company can rely on their teams to do it or they could still be doing the kind of bounty you are referring to but might not actually announce it publicly but they have contacts to hackers they can call to come do that.

All this hack attempt or hacking that has been happening is getting out of hand, I think it is because of AI, a lot of things or informations are now very easy to access making it easier for hackers to access or attempt to hack a casino or exchange.
All casinos should take their security very serious because I believe this set of hackers has the tools and information to attempt to hack each and every casino, the only way a casino can escape this hackers is by making their security system more strong.

This year didn't end with the Duelbits hack only, another online casino was hacked:
According to a post on X, Gamdom noticed a hack targeting their hot wallet system and took action to stop the leak; in total, they lost just over $3 million due to the hack and moved the remaining funds from their hot wallets to cold wallets.

These guys had a signature campaign on our forum earlier.

Hackers is the reason why many casino companies are shutting down, and this is happening very often affecting both these casino platforms, and users as well. However, this is a matter of fund, is it not possible for this casino owners to store their funds in a cold wallet instead of leaving their fund in a hot wallet where their fund can easily be tempered or accessed by gamblers. This should wake up other casino platforms in other to improve their security measures because it takes a lot of money and effort to establish a casino or gambling company, and it is bad to allow it go down due to lack of good security measures.

Gamdom hacked for a 3M$
You are right, I saw developments/updates about the Gamdom casino, where for today 10/15/2026 the Gamdom Casino has conveyed Crypto Casino Gamdom Goes Dark After a $3 Million Wallet Hack.

Even though Casino Gamdom as we know it experienced a hacking attack, there are positive points for its users.
For example:

When a casino experiences a hack like Gamdom casino, but they are responsible for user funds, I think what Gamdom did was a good decision in a situation like this.

This cases of hacking of cryptocurrency platform is becoming a monthly occurrence and surely not looking good in any way. We have not forgotten the hack of Duelbits, we are faced with another one in less than a month. What is really wrong that makes these hacks so easy now? Could this be the result of AI? I understand that AI can easily be deployed to test for vulnerability of a platform, maybe this is how the hackers are exploiting these platforms.
I am not sure but the possibility of AI influence is very high, AI is getting stronger with time we can see its dawn everywhere, AI can store a lot of data through which AI can provide information to hacker about which aspects of a platform are weak, through which hacker can easily research the weak points of the platform. I never thought such a big platform like Duelbits could be hack. Hackers are getting stronger with time which we can see, casino managers need to be more aware to protect themselves from hacking.

If hackers develop their skills, the managers of platforms related to finance should also improve their platform security. Not just casinos, but also other platforms that are at risk of hacking attacks. If the perpetrators are tracked down and caught, we will obtain information on how they did it, whether with the help of AI or through their own hacking abilities.

This is a clear warning for all casinos to brace up their security structure since hackers are beginning to focus on casinos.
With all these recent happenings relating to casino hack, it show's that the the casinos are likely porous and have weak security systems which they need to upgrade to further forestall any future unforeseen attacks on them.  I hope other casinos are seeing what is currently happening and should take the security of their platforms very serious.

Lucky they were able to stop it on time and move their remaining balance to their cold storage. I hope they can come back online as soon as possible, like they said, and update on their X official page.

I don't know maybe I should assume that it is even a negligence on their end when they are having their fund under online storage, what I would have asked is for what reason is this done this manner, are they also gambling with users fund or what, how could they have go solo to this extent having their reserve fund in an online storage when they should go on cold storage, some things are worth questionable when you even hear the story on how it happened.

Multiple crypto platforms are hacked and all of them follow same pattern. An unauthorized intervention occurred, but no private keys have been exposed, did the hackers found a vulnerability that most platforms are using?

I guess we need to find the root cause and how this hackes are happening to stop them futher, $3 million looks small but combining all the hacks happened in the recent past it must be over 500 millions.
