Ironically, I would not trust a casino which was completely done with code generated by artificial intelligence. A person overseeing and testing code is always necessary, just because something was created by AI it does not mean it is prefer or free from flaws.
In the case of this casino, they were supposed to use AI in order to try to find bugs, and after those bugs are found, they are supposed to get patches by human beings with a high knowledge in coding.
In the end, AI is just a tool, something which is supposed to enhance human beings, bot to replace them completely.
As a player, I’m also not at all inclined to trust AI completely. While I do enjoy using these technologies, we need versions that are far better than what we have today and that applies to writing code as well. I realize this will be a gradual process perhaps in five years, AI will be able to write code perfectly. But for that to happen, a programmer would need to define the task with such precision that it would essentially become a form of programming in itself after all, how else could one describe, in minute detail, all the nuances we’d want to see in the final result?
I understand what you mean when you mention that AI needs very accurate instructions in order to deliver what we want, that is why there are people who have been suggesting that in the future we will have professional prompters, instead of professional programmers or coders.
Still, for someone to prompt something useful for casinos, banks and exchanges, that person is supposed to be able to review whatever the AI generates. No casino and no bookie would hire me just because I know how to prompt, they would also like me to review and be legally responsible of the code I am generating for them.
