A request to pin a thread.

@Superman, you know already that theymos has pinned the thread, it is better you can now lock this thread so far what you requested for has been attended to in the way you wished it to be.

I was not expecting the thread to be pinned but theymos has said that if not updated, it can be unpinned.

talking about repetition of thread or duplicating thread, most people that are always talking about it here are the same persons that respond or reply to those thread.
‎I have seen a thread that was talking about using AI for prediction, and I saw that some reputable members that replied or commented on that thread, went ahead to comment on another thread that was created few days later talking about the same AI prediction.
‎if only we all can decide to avoid those kind of thread, I believe those creating them are going to stop.
‎mods are even tired of deleting duplicated thread on that gambling discussion board. I also think more mods should put an eye in that board.

Mitigating duplication of threads in all sections of the forum with the gambling board as a case study is what can be done through collective responsibility, the moderators alone can not do much with locking and deleting, inspite of how much effort and time moderators are putting into nuking them they will keep surfacing in as much members are replying.

Supreme Donvic you make a brutal point which I support. Majority of us are guilty of this attitude and should it be that repetitive threads are not given the attention with replies and comments it gets it may dissuade successive ones.

Instead of replying those threads reporting it to moderator asap will be great.

It's interesting that the thread has been pinned. I also think it deserves to be pinned, I wonder why you expected otherwise.
Sometimes EFL discussion is been done in the EPL threads because the EFL might have been buried that no one remembers to go and bump it.
With this football compilation thread pinned, it will be easy to see all the threads with a little glance.

Done. If problems arise in the future, such as if it stops being updated, then someone can complain about that in Meta and it can easily be unstickied again.
