As somebody who played RPG for the majority of my childhood days, I would say that... it's almost the same.
In an RPG, you'll spend time and some money in order to rank up. In online casinos, you need money in order to level up your account.

In this case, you need to wager more money to rank up your level and potentially hit the VIP status. There's nothing wrong with that AS LONG AS you're only spending the money that you're willing to lose. The problem with the gamblers who has this mindset of levelling up their account is that they're spending way too much money just to rank up, and some are disappointed if the rewards that they're getting doesn't meet their expectations.

Also, some are even addicted into gambling because of this kind of mindset. Since you want to level up, you'll spend more money, and the more you spend money, the more your mindset changes and instead of just levelling up, it's also possible that you're goal is to make more money therefore you will be getting addicted into it.

Nothing wrong with levelling up your account as long as your spending money you can afford to lose but aside from that, it's a no-no.

I believe that perspective and comparison you are sharing with us is not actually right. I believe it is rather destructive for the majority of people who gamble.

VIP ranks and levels on casinos are supposed to be obtained naturally and passively, without paying attention to it, otherwise, I would lead to gamblers gambling not for fun, but for the sake of increasing their level and VIP status on the casino in question.

In Roleplay games you don't necessarily need to deposit money and risk money in order to get more levels, on casinos you are required to do it. That is a huge difference.

It is a big misconception to spend a lot of time gambling, if you want to get VIP rank then you have to gamble with a lot of money. Where you have to gamble like millionaires gamble and thus your rank may change after gambling for a long time, but in my opinion changing rank like this is not a good idea at all.
It can have a huge negative impact on your family, if you have to gamble with the entire amount of money you earn. If you are a low income person then this is like a dream for you, so it is best not to chase after increasing the rank.

I don't think it's wrong but, that can only be wrong if it's affecting your daily life. And that means when you're also affecting your job, your family and even your finances then it's not worth it to chase the levels in your casino accounts. But if you've shown that you're responsible enough and you can balance all of those things then that's not a big deal. As for me, I don't chase it too much and that's why I gamble only for fun and whatever amount that I have in my bankroll, I stick to it. Right, there is no wrong with chasing level on casino. Some gamblers really aim for that, and its never wrong as long as they are also responsible on their part. If they are making high compensation, why not? Just risk what you can afford to lose, as gambling is losing more often than winning.

I think there are better things that you could chase and better things that you could make into another goal now than trying to get into another level in the casino because that sort of chase can put you in a dangerous position where you become addicted from chasing. For me, chasing levels at the casino isn’t all that important and for good reason. In my opinion, trying to reach those levels carries the risk of significant losses, not only will you lose money, but you’ll also waste a lot of your time. Obviously, this is in no way worth the benefits you might receive, such as bonuses, etc.

I keep it simple, if i have a budget available, i’ll gamble, if not, i’ll sit tight and wait until the next budget is available. I don’t view casino levels as something to chase, the main purpose of gambling should be entertainment, nothing is more important than that.

Exactly, the more you gambling in the casino to get to a higher level, the more financial losses you will incur. Those who run around with an aggressive mentality to achieve a specific goal end up putting themselves in big losses. But still, it will not guarantee a win. Most gamblers might say they are having fun with gambling. But we will never really know what they actually mean.

I've never tried to chase VIP levels at a casino, I know that higher levels might give you access to more bonuses or other perks, but that's not something I'm aiming for. I simply continue playing without any goals like leveling up my casino account. Not wrong at all. In fact it is very much recommended as in difficult times when you have lost all of your deposits and you don't have any available money to play, it is exactly in these cases that most bonuses coming from leveling up give you a boost, be it daily reload, weekly or the monthly bonus these are surely benefits that come exactly because of leveling up. It is not wrong to chase ranks of levels in casino because the purpose of it is to earn some rewards and enjoy some benefits. Every one has different perspective on it but what i believe is the increase in level in gambling depends on the increase in activity and time spending now if some one is disciplined and bet according to there bank roll then i do not think so he/she will try to chase levels because if you want to level up you have to spent a lot of money and time which is also risky in the long run as more chances of addiction towards gambling and also more chances of loss as well because of the house edge.

I don't gamble to level up. In my opinion, leveling up should be seen as an added benefit of a game rather than the main goal. If it increases the level within the normal game play, then it is good, but there is no need to change the game style or budget to increase the level. No level is more important than financial stability and your own time. So, you should think about increasing the level considering the profit and time.
