Who would go to russia to buy Asic miners? Unless they are going to ship out containers with 100s of these Asic miners, these price are tempting though but not enough to leave my country and go into Russia.
The question is can this person ship it out of Russia?
The shipping fee won't make that work I guess.
I can still find S19 pro mines for $180 to $200 here, I think it's still worth it..what do you think @FP91G
According to statistics, Russia ranks second in the world for cryptocurrency mining, and a great deal of the equipment in use is old.
Exporting an ASIC miner out of Russia through official channels is very difficult, as it requires obtaining specific documentation for the export of cryptographic equipment. If these ASICs are being sold for $200 in your country, you should buy them. However, make sure to agree on a testing period, typically, out of every 10 units, 1 or 2 may have issues.
I have access to 20 pieces of 650watt solar panel, do you think I can run a S19 for 12hours per day? If your answer is a yes do you think doing this everyday is a good solo mining strategy?
I need someone like FP91G to answer this question.
Since S19 has better hashrate, running them 12 hours a day makes any difference? Compare to running small home miners of 14TH, since the price I found for this is similar to a S19 on Alibaba.
I started my mining journey with experiments. Buy a few old ASICs and try testing how they perform over a month or two. In the worst-case scenario, you might lose $200–$500, but you’ll gain valuable experience.
