Well there was a thread recently about poker and AI, something like that, and I think it all comes down to how convenient these games become and whether AI taking over some aspects of gambling would make things better or worse. What I'm trying to say is that the potential risks could increase significantly.We all know gambling involves luck and has a lot of risk, and many folks already find it difficult to consistently win even in one straight week, which isn't in possible in most cases.Even at that, folks who have turned gambling into a job which is wrong often face emotional issues like revenge gambling, and so on.But then an AI agent doesn't even experience emotions the way we humans do, so if it loses, it doesn't feel anything. I’ve heard of Morpheus AI and Virtuals Protocol. These are essentially Agent to Agent economic.
While they aren't strictly casino but I’ve heard that their SDK are being widely used to facilitate activities on platform like Polymarket enabling AI agent to manage betting via on chain wallet. Honestly I haven’t used any of these myself.

As far as I know, using SDK or API to automate high frequency betting can sometime create DoS-like strain on these platform. It’s worth considering whether measure like custom gas fee or deposit restriction are being imposed on these player to prevent such issue.

I don't think online casino owners would be thrilled with projects where people pool their resources and create an AI agent that monitors the internet 24/7 for sports bets with a winning probability of over 50% and other bookmaker odds errors. Incidentally, I've read that such projects already exist. I'm sure bookmakers would desperately fight such projects.

Also, you mentioned Ronin in this thread. From what I’ve heard, their dashboard occasionally display fake data and placeholder balance and there are frequent connectivity issue. If any platform intend to operate within closed-loop system then it is worth considering extent to which that system can be relied upon when it comes to actual fund.
Using AI agents for gambling represent significant technological leap. But I have doubt about whether these tool will actually lead to better return.

But do you know that while "AI agents would suffers the addiction", you will indirectly "suffers the loses". Because it's not the AI Agent that will provide the money that will be used for gambling, but you. And for the fact that you uses an AI agent, it doesn't automatically place you at a higher advantage of winning, because the casino will always have an edge over it's gamblers when it comes to long term profit maximization. So to me, the effect of human physical gambling can never be compared to that of a robotic AI agent.

We humans of course are funding it or should I say it's more of a thing for developers with the knowledge to fund these Ai tools to their advantage.

This is how evolution has taken root in the P2P and decentralized systems that even programmed agent driven execution can be achieved for automated gameplay without human resources in the form of physical presence even required.

I agree. Where data is actively gathered and analyzed and calculated, AI could be most valuable. They require skills. The more skillful you are, the more ahead you are of your opponents. If one day AI agents are supported in all online casinos, I'm afraid poker, blackjack, baccarat will be dominated by AI players and not humans. It's a battle of AI wits already. No one would risk money playing against Pluribus, for example.

As to slots, there's not much calculation that's needed. But, who knows, highly advanced AIs in the future could see a pattern where humans cannot.

I agree with what most commenters have pointed out: there is no fun anymore, and this strip away the good sweet gamblers experience—the adrenaline rush, the thrills and all. I know, we all want to automate every aspect of our life, but I feel this is taking it unnecessarily far than it should. At the same time, I don't mind this feature in some games that doesn't necessarily need human connection; but in games like poker, I think this setting will be a terrible idea.

That sucks tbh unless you're not in it for fun at all but probably to test or utilize what you've built. Well, yeah the agentic era comes already but somehow this acceleration of technology makes it boring as well. I think we will see a lot of these innovations but nothing really defeats the game of speculation as humanly possible. It still doesn't make any difference, in as much as you are still a gambler or you're still gambling. Do you think Introduction of AI into the world of gambling can reduce emotional stress and anxiety. Emotional stress will always be attached to gambling in one way or the other, because it is a matter of risking your hard earned money which doesn't guarantee return. Ai can play some certain roles in gambling but it has nothing to do with emotional support.

Arbitrary betting that might be fine, but I considered it most times as more of a means to lose money faster than any other betting method. The party which will successfully deploy AI and take advantage of it are the operators; then, the customers they will use advanced algorithms to detect and limit AI usage, especially on games which they consider AI to take advantage of.
