Mazacoin and charities

There's a lot of "country coins" being spun up with premines.   I'm here to give Payu Harris a chance to actually do something for the Lakota.  Donate some of the 25 million mazacoins premined to these Lakota charities ...   It will do a truly good thing and maybe even bring Mazacoin back to life.  Get Mazacoin ATMs in the casinos and donate a percentage of every transaction to a Lakota charity.  Once he or whoever's holding onto the premine donates a significant amount (5 million?) others including myself will follow.  Here's a couple of Lakota charities, I'm sure there are lots of other worthy ones.  Wouldn't it be nice if one of these coins were more than pump and dump?

What was the stated purpose of the premine anyway?

I do like the idea of getting Mazacoin some visibility and use in casinos and other outlets within the Lakota Nation. Hopefully this is not a 1-man show and there is actual backing and intent to promote it amongst themselves and their customers, etc. to get it rolling.

While I am disappointed that there is still practically no mazacoin activity among the Lakota so far, it is still early. The coin was launched about 3 months ago. The Tribe apparently is evaluating the benefits of mazacoin, and Payu will report to David Mills at some point in the future. (See )

The pre-mine was 25 million coins out of about 4 billion to be produced (0.625%). It is managed by the BTC Oyate Project, and all transactions can be verified at MNG15HKzUQeiT8QmtAghvSKpQwwgzZSFzS with a blockchain explorer. Payu is managing it, and he can be held accountable. He is not anonymous, like most coin founders.

The purpose of the pre-mine is to give grants to businesses, charities, and tribe members who agree to use mazacoin. I understand that hardly any have been given out so far. I think that he wants some mazacoin activity to get started so that people will have places to spend the coins when they get them. Otherwise, they'll just sell them for dollars on exchanges like with auroracoin. But if a Lakota business or charity wanted to accept mazacoin, they could apply for a grant with Payu and get coins. Problem is that no one wants to yet. "Bit-what?" "How does this crypto stuff work?" "Paypal works fine for me", etc. etc. Think about how many business in your town accept bitcoin. How many accept alt coins? Practically none, right? Give it some time. Hopefully the tribal office of economic development will give the green light and start encouraging use of mazacoin by tribal businesses and charities and activity will pick up.

Sorry, there were two pre-mines of 25 million coins (still only about 1.2% of the total coins to be produced).

One is for the BTC Oyate Project and is for "economic development and stimulus".

The point is that if you are cynical (and it is so easy to be) and think it's a scam, hold them accountable. Encourage businesses and charities to apply for these coin grants. If they apply and the coins aren't there, then something is wrong. I have written to about a dozen Lakota and Indian charities and businesses, and so far only 2 or 3 have responded and politely said they're not interested. That seems like the real problem, not theft of pre-mined coins.

Where can I go to find a list of charities or Businesses in Lakota land, or charities or businesses who support Mazacoin?  

Here there is a large list of closed to 25 Community Charities & Non-profit Organizations that either accept Mazacoin or are on Lakota land.

I am glad to see some non-profit organizations are accepting Mazacoin.
Lakota people include some of the poorest areas in the USA and maybe (despite the slow start) digital currency can make their situation better.
