You do not need to verify your identity to access our services at sign-up; verification may be requested later under issuer / compliance requirements. We do not promise anonymity.

Is CasperCard affiliated with Visa / Apple / Google / Netflix / etc.?
No. Visa acceptance and Apple Pay / Google Pay are features of the product stack. Brand names used for illustration only — no partnership endorsement.

Some questions we've been asked, answered plainly:

Which coins can I top up with?
USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and XMR, sent straight from your own wallet.

What does it cost? (from https://www.caspercard.com/pricing, prices may change)

• Whisper: €0/month, up to 1 card per month, 7.5% stablecoin top-up fee, €25,000 monthly limit
• Phantom: €50/month, up to 3 cards per month, 6% stablecoin top-up fee, €70,000 monthly limit
• Wraith: €500/month, up to 20 cards per month, 4.5% stablecoin top-up fee, €100k to €500k custom limit

On every tier there is also an FX fee of 1.75% to 2.00%, depending on the issuing bank, on top of the top-up fee. Fees and limits are subject to issuer terms.

Does it work with Apple Pay and Google Pay?

7.5% stablecoin top-up fee

What will the fee be for bitcoin top-ups? Is it also 7.5% on this plan? Or will bitcoin be automatically converted into stablecoins first, and then you'll deduct the 7.5% deposit fee from those stablecoins? If so, what rate will be used for the Bitcoin-to-stablecoin conversion? I don't mean a specific number, but rather the source of the exchange rate and your mark-up.

And one more question. Is the card currency US dollars?

Hi internetional, thanks for the detailed questions. Here’s how it works.

BTC top-ups
The fee is 7.5% for all top-ups, including BTC. The 7.5% is applied after the funds are converted to stablecoins. You can do the conversion yourself before sending, or send BTC directly and we’ll convert it on our side. Either way, the fee is calculated on the final stablecoin amount.

Exchange rate
When we handle the conversion, we use the live market rate from major exchanges such as Binance and Kraken. You get a fair, transparent market price rather than an arbitrary internal rate.

Card currency
Cards are available in both EUR and USD, so you can choose. Our main card lineup is EUR-based, which is what most users go with.
