To celebrate the finish of the Brazilian Serie A, Sportsbet is launching the Brazilian Serie A sprint race – a short challenge featuring 8 Serie A themed events, one for each league gameweek.
The promo starts with Round 31 (Oct 17th) and ends with Round 38 (Dec 2nd).

Players will compete in 8 individual events to win cash and freebet prizes while earning points toward the overall Serie A Championship Leaderboard.
The top-performing players of the season will receive additional prizes at the end of the campaign. Total prize pool will be 28 mBTC + 1200$ in freebets.

Individual events will be posted in Games and Rounds section and listed in the 2nd post of this thread.

How to participate

To qualify for each event, participants must:

• Be a registered Sportsbet customer.
• Place a minimum of 10$ qualifying bet on Sportsbet during the event period.
• Meet any additional event-specific requirements communicated before each event begins.

Event structure

Every event will consist of 6 questions about the upcoming Brazilian Serie A games. Every correct answer will bring 1 point for that specific event.
A betslip with a minimum of 10$ value and a minimum of 1.50 odds will need to be played as well.
Total odds on a winning ticket will be added to points total - so if you win a ticket with 2.20 odds, you get extra 2.20 points. Losing tickets don't bring extra points.

Event prize distribution

Each of the 8 events will feature a prize pool consisting of 2 mBTC cash prize and 100$ in freebets.

The top five eligible participants in each event will receive prizes and leaderboard points as follows:

2nd - 0.75 mBTC + 4 leaderboard points
3rd - 50$ freebet + 3 leaderboard points
4th - 30$ freebet + 2 leaderboard points
5th - 20$ freebet + 1 leaderboard point

Overall Championship Leaderboard

Participants earn points in every event according to their finishing position.
Points accumulated across all 8 events count toward the Serie A Championship Leaderboard.

At the conclusion of the final event, the players with the highest total leaderboard points will receive the following additional prizes:

Leaderboard Tie-Breakers

In the event that two or more players finish with the same number of leaderboard points, ties will be resolved using the following criteria in order:

• Highest number of event wins (1st-place finishes).
• Highest number of top-three finishes.
• Highest total qualifying wager volume across all 8 events.

If a tie still remains, the prize will be equally split among tied participants.

General Rules

• Only real-money wagers qualify toward event participation.
• Cancelled, voided, refunded, or cashed-out bets will be excluded from qualification and rankings.
• Players may participate in as many events as they wish during the campaign period.

• Sportsbet reserves the right to verify player eligibility and disqualify participants engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or collusive behavior.

Surely the first of its kind for the Brazilian Serie A on the forum here, while the league is not a strong suit of mine, I reckon you don't need to have one to place bets on 11 guys kicking a football, I'm familiar with a few teams and players from the league, I think that should be enough, especially with a little bit of luck...

I am not an expert in Brazlian Seria A, but I will consider joining this competition for fun, and maybe I got lucky and win something.

Awesome, I was really happy when I saw this announcement in our Brazilian league discussion thread. I even commented there that I don't remember seeing anything similar around here when it comes to Brazilian football.

But I'll tell you guys right now, even for us who follow it closely, betting is actually very challenging. Brazilian football has many matches that go completely against logic, which in the end makes it even more fun.

I'm going to register on the website over the weekend and I plan to participate as well!

A bit of a mistake, entering the Mirassol and Internacional matches into the parlay... I don't read the rules carefully because I only read the main rules... which means my entry will not be valid if there are Mirassol and Internacional matches in the betting ticket?

In the past when we were running similar promos we would remove games that shouldn't have been part of it and then let it stand if the remainder is good enough to comply with all the rules. If removing those games makes your ticket not good enough we would disregard the entry. Will discuss it with cryptofrka and enter something as rule in the OP.

You can use that ticket if you want. We will just lower your total odds for the one game that shouldn't be on it.

We will do the same for all the tickets in events. So if you have something extra that shouldn't have been there, we will remove it and just use the rest. But the idea is to be Brazilian league promo so don't start putting tennis or what not on tickets. We will tolerate occasionall mishap like this bit we don't want to see a bunch of tickets with problems. In other words, don't be a dick, and if you mistakenly add something to the ticket, we will accept with those games removed from odds. But remainder of the ticket must adhere to all the rules to be accepted.

Betslip has to be over 1.50 odds so yes - you can combine multiple lower odds.
Just be careful if you're using picks that can result in a void because if they do, your ticket might suddenly become invalid.
