If there are more buy pressures in the market, deman will increase and that will push price up. On the contrary, if there are more supply than demand in the market, then price will drop. That means there are many things that influence the market but they do that by creating imbalance between the demand and supply.

If interest rates increase, people reduce their borrowing and at that time they lose the ability to invest. Similarly, when the influence of money on the market increases and interest rates are reduced, people take more loans and try to invest in the market and the market starts to go bullish at a rapid pace. Even if there is economic growth, a positive situation is created among people.

To remain in business means they still have demand and to do take, they also need to re-strategize, repackage and come back better. No serious business organization will fold arms to allow government policies to bring them down.
