As reported by politics Nigeria. More than 15 governorship candidates of the Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) have declared support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.


The candidates said their decision was based on their assessment of Tinubu’s performance and the absence of a presidential candidate on their party’s platform for the forthcoming election

I believe this set of politicians have planned the next havoc they are going to unleash in Nigeria if they should have their way back to office after the 2027 election. Before I go ahead, I want to say that the power to vote any leader into office still lies in the hands of Nigerians, and not this people making declaration, and endorsing Tinubu for second tenure. It is glaring that the economic instability Nigerians are undergoing today is as a result of bad governance which every Nigerian is a testimony to it.
This present APC government has not performed anything good from the onset till now, and the APC government will definitely do the worst if they happen to return to power by 2027.
Without any political or tribal sentiment, let every reasonable Nigerian come together and give support to the best candidate, and for APC government, they have already shown the stuff they are made of, and will do the worst instead of doing better.
APC government is the kind of government that give attention to party members only, and not the general Nigerians, and that is the more reason they have allowed Nigerians to suffer hunger, and adversity. Let us not be fooled for the second time, they will come with their deceptive methods bringing incentives, spraying money they have hauled for election instead of making the Nigeria economy better .

No Nigerian should be confused about APC deceptive promises, and let Nigerians come out massively to vote their own choice, the voice of majority of Nigerians must prevail, and not the plans of these greedy politicians who doesn't want the progress of Nigerian citizens.

I have this feeling that Nigeria will be grate again and this I'm very sure would come to pass and I don't know how it will happen but I'm sure it will definitely happen and I already gave up on the country because I don't even see help coming and if the governor of Abia state can restore his state, then Nigeria will be great again under the leadership of the right one at the right time but when then is the right time?

I don't know why it is looking almost impossible to unseat a sitting president because he's the grand commander of the arm forces which implies that, the entire military answers to his last command.

I'm not a tinubu supporter but I don't know why I just see it as very impossible to unseat a sitting presidents atleast not the one that has human sympathy and definitely not Tinubu that is ready to pay the price even with his blood

You see one thing about our Nigeria election is that citizens has lost hope completely in our electoral system. People believe that their vote no longer count. But if I'm to be very sincere here our vote do play a significant role especially when we are out in mass, is like a horror to the politicians and it becomes very difficult for them to rig. But when we are so scanting in turn over or have lesser voters it becomes very easier for them to manipulate the election results in their favour.

Furthermore, talking about the 15 governors that has pledge their support for president Tinubu in the forth coming election. That's absolutely bullshit,  because there's no way 15 people can beat million's of Nigerians if we can come together as one. If we can prove ourselves as one again this one more time, things will certainly get better.

However, I'm not surprised seeing birds of the same feathers flocks together. They're all curupt people that has a single goal of destroying Nigeria and that is not going to work if only we the citizens rise and say enough is enough. I strongly believe that there's still hope for our country and I am pretty sure of that.

What is your take on this?

I have never heard of that party before, was it created recently to divide votes for Tinubu because that has been their agenda from the beginning?  They want to divide votes so obi and atiku will not get many votes in the election.

Please don't mind those hungry fellow, nobody knows them in this country.  They sold their conscience and future that doesn't mean others will do the same thing. Whatever their reasons maybe is purely political driven and for their own stomachs.

This election is an Armageddon, a war between good against evil but one thing is certain, good will always prevail, Peter obi and his party will win and there is nothing the forces of darkness can do about it.

I'm not surprised you are just hearing of the DLA party the first time because even me it was from months ago I heard about them and rumors says that they were created early this year, and that explains why they declared their support on Tinubu because as a new party they would be looking for a way to be relevant and popular most especially creating an alliance with the APC party so that during election there supporters will vote APC and the same APC supporters would also reciprocate to them, so actually this is the game I understand they are trying to play that is why they released such statement.

is this not pure trash? well, as far we we know, all our politicians speaks from both side of thier mouth and when they say anything, its mostly the reverse that is usually the case.

anybody that is supporting Tinibu is doing so just because thier is something he stands to gain in the short run and is ready to sell his future and the future of his children just because of that little previlege. politicians are never loyal to a political party or the orth they took as governors. they are only obedient to a system that promises them a return to an office they are eyeing. all the governors are not even different from Tinibu.

We should not lie to ourselves please, we all know that Nigerians don’t have any power to vote anyone into office at this point, because the country is corrupt and the INEC is also controlled by a group of people who have the power to do whatever they want in this country, if Nigerians have the power to vote anyone into office why Tinubu is Nigeria president from the beginning? I agree with this point of yours about  Abia state Governor, the man has done a great work ever since he came power, that why sometimes we need to be mindful of who to chose or elect into power, what we actually do in this country is that, people do vote by political party instead of candidate, that exactly what's happening in my state, there are many candidates from the other party that has the pity of people  in thier mind, but most of Nigerians voted based on political party, especially the trending party at the moment. Someone that won the election  without being in power using their tricky ways. Now that he is the most powerful man in this country, what guarantee people that he will even lose the upcoming elections. President Tinubu has almost 33 governors + Neysome Wike under his control, many LGC, ministers, and house of assembly members.  That man has prepared his plan , but look at the oppositions  Obi and Atiku , what is their own plan to win this elections. Both of them are always active online whereas Tinubu knows elections are not won online instead it's through the grassroot and he is working behind the scene to make sure it happens.   I can't argue with anyone but we will all see the outcome of this election and this will be far different from the one that happened in 2023.

Who are we going to vote now because all candidates are not really what they say they are. They are all deceptive people but you will only see them unleash it when they come into power, the same thing that Tinubu after coming into power. All the candidates are the same, I don’t think any of them will do good for the country if given the chance.

Sometime i feel like giving up on this country but i just want to remain optimistic that things will change for the better and Nigeria will be great again. But when is that going to happen? Is it now, in the future we ready living or after our generation when we’re not more. Allah gives power but it is humans who will make it effective. Endorsement doesn't matter but how prepared are Nigerians to make sure that their vote counts? We can't be saying that Allah gives power why we watch corrupt leaders rule us all the time, do we also say that Allah gave us those corrupt leaders? Allah doesn't give his people someone who will suffer them and not hear their cries. We Nigerians are too slow when it comes to accountability and that is why the government has seen our weaknesses and think that we do not have the power to influence the government. The statement that vote don't count is a clear proof to what many might have witnessed in their past elections. Because votes can only counts when the people in charge are not desperate for a re-election into their political offices just like what we see Tinubu and friends are doing in this country. Because with the way Tinubu have turned politics into a cater stuff, whereby only people who are in his political party or loyal to him as president will be able to seek re-election in our different states and win. The major reason why this things are happening now is because we Nigerians has lost hope in the electoral process and believes that they will rig and come back to office if not I don't see reasons why Nigerians who has the mandate which is their vote won't want to come out and vote massively for the candidate of their choices, it's very worrisome the way people who we think was fighting Tinubu openly declaring supports for him and endorsing him for second tenure, the likes of Adeleke, governor of Osun state and the rest of them and this are the enemies of progress in Nigeria.

Endorsement matters and those endorsing him has been positioned in there respective units to rig the elections for Tinubu, APC government doesn't care about the feelings of the Masses so they are too selfish and desperate to come back in 2027, but I pray Nigerians can unite in one voice this time around to cast their votes and ensure it counts, that's the only hope for a better Nigeria we want.
