It will be produced by Tesla and SpaceX. It will not be in public road but we do not know what will happen in the future. If Tesla and SpaceX are able to produce this car, what do you think about it?

They have already produced it, right? Well, made a few for demos.
The only question now is whether they'll mass-produce it and whether they can somehow convince the government to allow it on public roads. Imagine seeing a car flipping in front of you just to get past a toll booth. 
It would have been epic if the door were gull-wing style (like the DeLorean DMC-12) rather than butterfly style.

The media has described it that way and so it's been absorbed by the world as if it's really flying but it's not.

It's true that it's jumping and not flying. There's short burst that make it look like flying but that's just a force to jump mid-air and then land again.

If Tesla and SpaceX are able to produce this car, what do you think about it?

Not if, but it's already been launched so it's definitely going to be produced for those reservations and will up for sale on their Tesla dealers.

I saw the demonstration few days ago and I was amazed at the ingenuity of the team.  While I admire the creativity displayed, I also have so many concerns about the product. The first thing I was thinking about was the fumes which I don't know the environmental impact. If that is not environmentally friendly, that will be a big problem for the product. The other concern is if such vehicles will not become very useful for criminals to use. Criminals can use the vehicle to steal and fly away.

It sounds incredible if Tesla and SpaceX can actually make it work safely and reliably.

A flying car still feels like science fiction, but with electric propulsion, advanced software and SpaceX-style engineering, it is probably more realistic now than ever before.

The biggest challenge will not only be making it fly, but also safety, noise, regulation and where people are actually allowed to use it.

Still, if they succeed, it could be one of those technologies that changes how we think about transportation completely.

At the moment though, I really can not see a real life usage of these cars for many many years without governmental regulations managing how people behave on the roads with these cars.

Beyond just showing it off as a pleasure car I don't really see how applicable it's going to be, if I only use it if I'm trying to jump over traffic? If it's an early stage prototype for an actual flying car (which will burn too much energy without wings) than mass production would not be realistic, this is if any government will be willing to allow mass production and use within it's borders.

Maybe it's not flying right now (yet) but those who like to use the expression "when cars fly" won't be too eager to use it now because nobody knows if tomorrow we are actually going to see a car that FLIES instead of just jumping.

After a bit of reading it's a nice gimmick and there's undoubtbly some super rich people that will play around with it but the length of time you can stay airborne in tiny. It relies on compressed gas and it's simply not practice to carry around large amounts of that, so the air time you get is literally what you see in the video. Now, that doesn't make it useless and there are plenty of clever situations that this could be used - maybe in conjunction with AI - to stop someone from crashing or get them out of a difficult situations. However with all the ghosts and false positives that AI seems to generate that could also be a recipe for disaster if it triggers off unexpectedly. Elon has a history of promising things and giving release dates but not being able to match them, it's rather easy to promise a date two years away while you're generating the initial hype and then reset it later.

Yes, it is real. That is the prototype.

That is the a prototype, we do not know what improvement will later be on it. But the way the car is landing does not look like it is jumping. Something that jump will follow the 9.81 meter per second square force of gravity, but the flying car do not follow it.

If people can wear space suit and fly on the air, if they can as well developed electric cars and the ones that are of different specifications, the same people that were able to manufacture airplane and could also incorporate their technological advancement into the production of flying cars, which is very possible, all they may needed is time in order to achieve this as long as the targeted and aim towards the goal, these people are giving it all it takes to achieve advanced technology innovations and they are getting it.

The news has become very mainstream, it was told to me by a family member who is totally disconnected from the world of stocks or listed companies. According to their version of the story, they had invented a car that flew.

However, now that I see the video images, I'm afraid they haven't invented anything. If it doesn't really fly, your dream car already existed in the early 80s :
