SILORA
Born from Compute.

GPU NFT mining · Pixel artwork · Windows · Multi-GPU workspace

Website  |  Install  |  Mainnet explorer  |  Whitepaper  |  GitHub & guides

Hello Bitcointalk,

I'm introducing SILORA, a project I am building around GPU computation and pixel artwork.

The idea is to give a completed computation a visible result: a finely detailed artwork with its own form, composition and creation record. The Windows app lets participants choose an eligible GPU, run a task and follow accepted progress. After completing the task and claiming the NFT, its holder can keep it sealed, transfer it or open it to create a local wallet and claim the assigned SILORA reward.

SILORA combines a GPU client, pixel NFTs, its own EVM-compatible network and an artwork-oriented block explorer.

01 / What you can use today

  • A GPU workspace: detect local cards, select compatible devices, and manage several GPUs in one app with separate task controls.
  • Real computation: start or pause tasks, retain confirmed progress, and follow speed, estimated time remaining and available device readings.
  • Pixel artwork: inspect the completed image, name it before claiming, and view the issued NFT and its record.
  • Sealed and opened NFTs: keep an eligible work sealed, transfer it, or use its one-time opening entitlement.
  • A wallet after opening: view an address and balance, receive or send SILORA, and review the estimated network fee before a transfer.
  • A public explorer: inspect artwork records, blocks, transactions and confirmed reward payments.

View the artwork gallery  |  View the terminal  |  View the explorer

The three gallery samples in our GitHub are unissued GPU test artworks. The terminal image is a historical v0.29.5 view of Genesis #1, a separate acceptance work; its displayed balance is historical. New installations show the user's own devices, tasks and assets.

02 / From a GPU task to an NFT

  • Choose a device. The app checks the GPU and driver, then displays task information.
  • Run the computation. Progress advances as completed work is accepted. It does not have to increase every second. You can pause and resume confirmed progress.
  • Claim your work. Once eligible, inspect and name the image, submit the claim, and wait for its network confirmation.
  • Collect, transfer or open. An unopened NFT carries its opening entitlement to its next holder. Opening creates a wallet locally and starts the reward-claim process.

After opening, the artwork remains available to view and transfer. The resulting wallet stays with the person who opened it; transferring an opened NFT does not transfer that wallet or its funds. Wallet recovery material is generated and encrypted on the local device. Keep it private when sharing screenshots or asking for support.

03 / GPUs, duration and energy

The current client is for 64-bit Windows. Compatibility depends on the actual GPU and driver; use the app's device check and the GPU guide. The RTX 3060 Laptop GPU has a real-device computation record. Other NVIDIA, AMD and Intel models should be checked individually; we do not yet have a fully tested model-by-model list.

The initial timing reference is approximately 72 hours on an RTX 3060 Laptop GPU. Actual duration depends on task difficulty, measured speed, temperatures, power settings and interruptions. Later tasks can require more work.

One artwork per eligible GPU is the participation rule. Several eligible cards can participate separately. Current consumer-GPU identification relies on software and verification checks, so it is not a manufacturer-backed proof of a globally unique physical card. Energy figures are estimates based on available GPU readings, not whole-computer electricity-meter measurements.

04 / SILORA rewards

  • Artwork program: capped at 21,000,000 opportunities.
  • Native coin: a separate genesis supply of 21,000,000 SILORA, allocated to the computation reward reserve.
  • Task terms: difficulty and the full reward are set when a task is allocated. Later allocations carry declining rewards; completing ahead of another participant does not change your allocated reward.
  • Payment: rewards are released from the existing reserve. A progress or pending-reward figure becomes a received balance only after the required completion, opening and payment steps are confirmed.

An earlier NFT's 100 SILORA reward does not mean every new NFT receives 100 SILORA. Check the terms shown for your task. Sending SILORA incurs a network fee, which the wallet estimates before confirmation.

05 / Current network and development stage

The public network is in a single-validator bootstrap phase. Computation verification, issuance coordination and network administration currently rely on project-operated infrastructure. Independent-node fault tolerance has not yet been established.

Genesis acceptance artwork #1 completed issuance, opening and reward payment using separate acceptance conditions. Ordinary full-duration mining, sustained multi-GPU operation and interruption recovery remain in validation.

User-operated nodes, the marketplace and instant swaps are not open yet. Their availability will be announced when released. The public GitHub repository contains product information, user guides and screenshots; client and chain source code are not published there.

06 / Install and get started

Open the official installation page. On Windows, right-click Start and open Windows PowerShell, or open Terminal and select the Windows PowerShell profile. Run:

Code:
irm https://get.silora.network/install.ps1 | iex

Inspect the installer script

After installation, choose a compatible GPU and start its task. To reopen the app later, enter:

Code:
silora

07 / Feedback and project links

I welcome questions and practical feedback about installation, GPU compatibility, task progress and the artwork experience. For a reproducible issue, include your app version, GPU model, driver version and steps in GitHub Issues.

Do you have discord server link?

Thanks for asking! SILORA just launched today, and we haven't set up an official Discord community yet.

Once you complete the mining process and create your own NFT artwork, you'll have a little Easter egg of your own to discover.

Hi taras588, thanks for checking the explorer and asking.

The 21 million SILORA transaction funded the network's reward reserve when mainnet was set up. SILORA's supply was created at genesis, and that transaction deposited it into the on-chain reward vault, which pays participants as they complete the required computation and reward-claim process.

You can inspect the receiving contract here:
https://explorer.silora.network/silora/mainnet/explorer/#/address/0x66E8b45F1C2688708CeD00499363798Fbf3b14B5

Here is how mining works in the current app:

1. Install the Windows app and select a compatible GPU. The app checks the device and shows its task requirements and assigned reward.
2. Run the GPU task. Progress advances as completed work is verified and accepted. You can pause and resume with confirmed progress preserved.
3. Once the task is complete and verified, you can claim its pixel-art NFT on SILORA Mainnet.
4. You can keep the NFT sealed or open it. Opening generates a wallet locally on your computer, and the app then attempts to claim the NFT's available SILORA reward from the reserve. The payment becomes your wallet balance once confirmed on-chain.

The participation rule is one artwork per eligible graphics card; multiple eligible GPUs can participate separately. The completion reward is fixed when your task is allocated. Later new tasks receive gradually smaller rewards, so every NFT does not receive a fixed 100 SILORA.

GPU computation earns the artwork and its assigned share of the existing reserve. Block production is handled separately by the network's validator. The current network is still in its early, single-validator stage, with project-operated computation verification.

I hope this makes the transaction and the mining process clearer. Happy to answer any specific questions about the workflow.

A computer with dual GPUs, with the reward number for P104 being 13 and for 6600XT being 14. After shutting down and restarting, the reward number for P104 (13) can continue normally, but the 6600XT has restarted and the reward number has changed from 14 to 25. How can we continue to calculate the reward number 14?
