I attempted to set up a transaction and noticed that the upper/max limit is around $10,000, yet your reserves are less than $3,000 how does that work? Furthermore, since you are using your own liquidity pool and do not require KYC from users, can you guarantee that they will receive coins that have a "low-KYC" score? It would also be a good idea for you to deposit a sum as collateral with one of the trusted accounts

Hey! To address your first question, although it says that the maximum transaction limit is around $10,000, exchanges of that size may not be possible if our available reserves are insufficient. If you attempt a $10,000 exchange when we have less than that amount in reserves, the transaction will fail and you’ll receive an error message. The max amount should be whatever is available in the reserves, this is being fixed.
Regarding KYC scores, we cannot guarantee that the coins you receive will have a low KYC score. Since our service is open to anyone and we do not require users to complete KYC and have absolute 0 AML score checks, we cannot control the origin or guarantee the KYC score of the coins being exchanged.
As for depositing collateral with a trusted account, we’re planning to make a deposit with OrangeFren in the coming days. We’ll post an update once it’s completed.
EDIT: We have updated our website and the misleading maximum transaction limit that did not align with our reserves has now been fixed, appreciate you for mentioning this.

Hello, since we have our own reserves we have to manually refill. I suggest you contact us via live chat next time since we monitor it constantly. We have refilled the reserves with more Ethereum now, give it a try. And again, for future reference incase you want us to refill the reserves please contact us via the live chat option on our website.
Thanks for using AnonChange.

And again, for future reference incase you want us to refill the reserves please contact us via the live chat option on our website. Surely, you must have something better in mind in terms of liquidity going forward? While it's certainly a pro that your platform has its own reserve, it's also a big con if a user will have to chat you first and request for a refill so that a swap may proceed. The amount mentioned isn't even huge. That's unnecessarily asking them extra time and effort, which many might find annoying. Especially considering that you're actively promoting your platform, even made a security deposit, building a reputation, kind of stands out since the great majority of your competitors have third-party liquidity providers, even starting off on the right foot more or less, you're certainly attracting more and more users. It'd leave a bad taste in their mouth if they're confronted right away with failed transactions due to a drained reserve. Good luck, by the way!

Hi, GM! Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and the good wishes. I completely understand your point, and I agree that having to contact support before making a swap isn't the ideal user experience.
To give some context, users cannot initiate a swap on AnonChange if our reserves don't have sufficient liquidity for the requested amount. While we have a substantial budget available for growth, we're still in the early beta stage, and we're taking a cautious approach to liquidity management. Our current reserves total around $25K across six coins. Given that we're still conducting extensive penetration testing and security assessments, we're prioritizing security and minimizing potential exposure to exploits before scaling up significantly.
That said, I understand that this approach comes with trade-offs. Having to reach out to us for a manual refill adds friction, and it's certainly something we want to improve as the platform grows. For now, users can contact us through live chat, and we'll refill the reserves promptly so they can proceed with their swaps.
Our main priority is to provide a genuinely privacy-focused exchange where users can swap with confidence, without worrying about their transactions being unexpectedly frozen or being asked to submit identity documents such as an ID or passport. This is one of the core principles behind AnonChange. Many services marketed as no-KYC exchanges rely on third-party liquidity providers, meaning they don't necessarily control the entire transaction pipeline or have full control over whether additional verification may be requested.
We're taking inspiration from exchanges like exch.cx, which demonstrated the appeal of a more autonomous, privacy-focused swapping experience. Our long-term plan is to expand our reserves and support greater transaction volumes without requiring users to contact us manually. We want to scale responsibly while maintaining the level of privacy and reliability we're building the platform around.
I appreciate you bringing this up because it's a valid concern, especially as we promote AnonChange and attract more users. We know liquidity availability is an important part of building trust, and it's something we'll need to keep improving as we move beyond beta.
Thanks again for the constructive feedback and for using AnonChange. We genuinely appreciate it!

Your transaction has already received its first confirmation, and we understand that waiting can be frustrating.
For security reasons, AnonChange requires 2 Bitcoin network confirmations before the deposit can be processed. The first confirmation means your transaction has been included in a block, while the second provides additional assurance that the transaction is secure and helps protect against potential blockchain reorganizations.
Your transaction is progressing normally. Once the second confirmation is received, it can proceed to the next stage of processing.
Thank you for using AnonChange!

BitMixList has reviewed the AnonChange swap service. The exchange service says it is "Private, secure and untraceable", with no account, no KYC, no storing of personal information and no logging of IP addresses. It supports BTC, ETH, XMR, LTC, SOL and USDT, and the coin list also includes USDC and DAI (ERC-20). There is a Tor onion address, a PGP key page and a live chat button. Support is also available on Telegram and Signal. The main site uses JavaScript. There is also a no-JavaScript version at /lite that works in Tor Browser on the Safest level, where every step is a plain form and the order page reloads itself every 15 seconds. During a check of the HTML we found that the lite pages still include the site's Next.js script tags, but nothing seems to need JavaScript. Both float and fixed rates are offered. On a float order, if the rate drops more than 1.2% before your deposit confirms, you can choose to continue at the new rate or get a refund. The service fee depends on the pair, for example 1% for USDT/BTC -> ETH and 2% for BTC -> XMR, plus a small network fee. The amount shown already has both fees taken off. The BTC minimum was 0.0001227 BTC (about $10 at current rates). The maximum for BTC -> XMR was 0.056 BTC (about $4,500), and you can't create an order for more than what they have in the reserves. The first swap that was performed was USDT (ERC-20) -> ETH, for 300 USDT at a float rate. The order page shows the deposit address with a QR code, the amount to send, the destination address and a one-hour expiry. A progress bar shows the order's stage. USDT deposits are counted after 12 Ethereum confirmations (about 3 minutes). A letter of guarantee was provided for both swaps. It is a PGP clearsigned letter with the order terms, signed with the key on the site's PGP page (fingerprint 7C95 D83F 7714 A468 5487 0D2C 11B2 EF4B 5185 F242). Both letters verified with GnuPG: gpg: Signature made Wed Oct 21 07:31:04 2026 UTC gpg: using EDDSA key 7C95D83F7714A46854870D2C11B2EF4B5185F242 gpg: Good signature from "AnonChange letter of guarantee" [unknown] Primary key fingerprint: 7C95 D83F 7714 A468 5487 0D2C 11B2 EF4B 5185 F242
The letter guarantees that the order "is either completed on the terms in this letter or refunded". It also says AnonChange does not freeze funds, that a manual check (not an AML check) may happen for large amounts or when there is "not enough reserve at that moment", and that a late deposit is still exchanged at the market rate. Processing took around 8 minutes from creating the order, most of it waiting for confirmations. The ETH was sent less than a minute after the 12th confirmation. We received 0.120677021 ETH against a quote of 0.120713658 ETH (0.03% less, because the float rate moved). In total, we spent 1.11% compared with the pre-fee rate, which matches the advertised 1% + 0.0001 ETH. There is no option to delete the order once finished. Our receiving address has a long history of its own, so instead we checked the address AnonChange paid us from (0x09d83a47338d0cc2bf2d7257bb6b874e8a1f9ad3) with the BitMixList AML checker. It reported 42/100, Medium risk: Score: 42/100 (Medium) Provider: BitOK - Complete AML (Ethereum) Counterparties: 13 Risk categories: Exchange 9.36% Dust 0.05% Other 0.02% Payment Service Provider 0.02% Fee 0.01% Labels: none

The wallet had only 38 outgoing transactions before ours, so there is little history to score. The second swap we performed was from BTC -> XMR, for 0.005 BTC (about $417), at a float rate with a BTC refund address. The fee for this pair is 2% + 0.0002 XMR. BTC deposits are counted after 2 confirmations. The deposit was detected while it was still unconfirmed, and the XMR was sent less than a minute after the 2nd confirmation, under 8 minutes after the order was created. We received 0.69444088 XMR against a quote of 0.69593369 XMR (0.21% less, well within the 1.2% limit). Listing: https://bitmixlist.org/swaps/anonchange

Nice-looking. It says in your FAQ, “More coins may be added over time.” As the service grows, is there any potential plan to add ZEC, preferably fully-shielded? If you want suggestions for how to approach the technical part, please feel free to ask, or ping me privately. I’ve been doing Zcash on accountless exchanges since the original Shapeshift, so I have experience from the user’s perspective. The PGP-signed letter of guarantee should be an industry standard practice; if it were, and if people generally verified the signature before sending deposits, then it would be impossible to get away with selective scamming. For a new service, it adds credibility that you give proof of what you promised. Unfortunately, I think that most users don’t understand its significance; someone should probably write a series of forum posts explaining why this is important, and how to make proper use of it. At a brief glance, I like that you have an API. However, as with many services, it requires an API key. For anonymous usage by people who dislike web browsers, can this requirement be relaxed, or is it needed to prevent abuse? ( Yes, I actually do everything from the terminal with the few services that allow it.) At this time, I have not yet tried the exchange. The main site uses JavaScript. There is also a no-JavaScript version at /lite that works in Tor Browser on the Safest level,
Thank you! When I first visited the site, I ran into Anubis and could not proceed. I can reach /lite just fine. According to its Onion-Location header as seen from Tor, the site has an onion (lite linked here). It seems not consistently reachable; I don’t know if that’s an hsdir Tor network problem, or maybe it needs some knobs twiddled with Tor’s built-in DDoS protection. I suggest a PGP-signed statement of the onion, to help prevent phishing if people link to the onion site as I just did. AnonChange.com is registered at Njalla ( onion). It looks like AnonChange practices what they preach. Edit 2026-10-25: Add invisible anchor tag; no other changes.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for taking the time to look into AnonChange. I really appreciate hearing from someone with your experience using accountless exchanges.
Regarding ZEC, it's actually the next coin we plan to add, ahead of any other coins. Fully shielded transactions are an important consideration, and I'll share your feedback with the developer as we work toward adding support.
As for the API, obtaining an API key doesn't require an email address or any personal information. You can generate a key and use the API while remaining fully anonymous, so terminal-based usage is absolutely something we want to accommodate.
I appreciate your points about PGP-signed letters of guarantee and signing the official onion address. I agree that both are valuable for building trust and helping users protect themselves against scams and phishing. I've forwarded these technical points to our developer and am awaiting a response before commenting on the implementation details. I don't want to give you inaccurate information or make promises before confirming what's feasible.
I'm also glad you found the /lite version and that it works in Tor Browser at the Safest security level.
Thanks again for the constructive suggestions and for taking privacy and transparency seriously. Your experience with Zcash on accountless exchanges is particularly valuable, and I'd be happy to hear any further feedback after you've had a chance to try AnonChange.

I can’t wait to try your future ZEC support! Even if an API key can be obtained anonymously, it links transactions. For a business who routes their customer transactions through your exchange, perhaps that may be acceptable—but for an individual who’s using digital cash for their personal expenses, an API key is like a supercookie. Thus, I would advise people to use the no-js website instead of using an API key. No development is needed for a PGP-signed statement of the onion address. Just clearsign a text file claiming that that’s your onion address, and put a link to it in the FAQ and/or in the site footer. One thing to watch out for with Zcash is issues with transactions across shielded pools. There are currently two fully active shielded pools: Ironwood (only a few months old), and Sapling (since 2018). If a payment needs to pass between shielded pools, it goes through a transparent “turnstile” that reveals the amount; this is for supply auditing and defense-in-depth against inflation bugs, but it has obvious privacy disadvantages. As such, it’s best to accept payments within either pool—then turnstile chunks of money between pools, if you need to re-balance how much you have stored where. It’s also best to be able to send funds fully within either pool, but that may impose too high a ZEC liquidity requirement for a growing new exchange. There are also some complications with address types, but it’s a minor issue if handled thoughtfully. Speaking of liquidity requirements: I think it should be pointed out that there are policy advantages to the customer of using an exchange which uses its own coins, instead of depending on other exchanges. It may limit the size of transactions, but that’s a trade-off. Anyway, I’d expect for that issue to ease up as the exchange grows.

These keys can be used to verify domain etc for AnonChange. In our docs we added information on swaps without API key. Tor also skips anubis bot check, nojs page is going to be on our subdomain lite.anonchange.com. Should be reflecting shortly, constructive critic like this assists us in making the exchange better. Wow, that was fast, and it worked as promised! To be honest, it's been quite a while since I've seen a promising new project announced on Bitcointalk that has received this much positive feedback. It's also good to see you actively responding to community concerns. I hope you keep it up and continue delivering on your promises. Out of curiosity, I decided to give AnonChange a try and swapped 50 USDT for BTC. The whole process was smooth as silk, and the exchange rate was pretty good too! One thing did confuse me a little, though. I was sending USDT from another exchange, which charged a 0.6 USDT withdrawal fee. Since I had entered 50 USDT as the swap amount on AnonChange, I wasn't sure whether sending exactly 50 USDT would result in only 49.4 USDT arriving. Would that cause the transaction to be rejected for being below the requested amount? Or would it be processed with a reduced payout or refunded? Rather than taking any chances, I sent 50.6 USDT to make sure the full 50 USDT would arrive. A small suggestion: It would be helpful to add a clear note during the swap process reminding users to account for any withdrawal fees charged by the sending exchange. This would avoid confusion, especially for first-time users. Anyway, I successfully received 0.000573556 BTC. The transaction was fast, straightforward, and hassle-free! So far, so good. Keep up the good work, and I hope AnonChange can earn the community's trust.
