Hi everyone,

I run ReweCoin (RWC), a small independent blockchain forked from Zcash. I'm looking for a few miners to test the network and help bring the hashrate up. Full disclosure: I'm the project owner.

Where the project stands, honestly:
- Algorithm: Equihash 200,9, Proof-of-Work. Mainnet live since 21 Sep 2026.
- Hashrate is low and the community is very small. This is an early, experimental project, not an investment. I make no price promises.
- Pool payouts are NOT working right now. The payout step has been failing since 13 Oct and I'm investigating. Please do not mine for payouts until I announce a fix. If you test now, you are helping with testing only.
- The chain stalled for more than 30 hours on 14-15 Oct. I'm still working on stability.

How to connect:
- Pool: 178.104.208.90
- Port 3092: variable difficulty (starts at 0.004), recommended
- Port 3093: fixed difficulty 0.004
- No TLS on either port
- Payout scheme: PPLNS, pool fee 1.5%, minimum payout 0.01 RWC
- Software: any Equihash 200,9 (Zcash-compatible) miner with stratum support should work in principle. I have not yet verified specific programs, so please tell me what works for you.
- Wallet: create an account at https://wallet.rewecoin.com/ and generate a mining address there. Use that address as the username when you connect.
- Explorer: https://explorer.rewecoin.com

What I'm asking: a few people willing to point a GPU at it, tell me what works and what doesn't, and report problems. Questions and criticism are welcome.

I'm not asking anyone to buy anything Community rewards for early miners

For a honest opinion even if harsh:

None of the poll questions address what brings in miners.  So many coins become nothing that now new coins are only mined much if they stand out favorably.  For that, needs would tend to include:

* Launch announced at the time it occurs or better yet beforehand.  Launches not mentioned here until days or weeks later get viewed like a premine.  Already too late, probably.

* Some apparent value proposition or special trait of the coin making it look like the cream of the crop.  That is especially hard to achieve for nearly-unmodified forks of existing coins.

* Most miners expect at least potential payout, so the big underlying question is why would the coin be worth more than the coins launched each month which become nothing.

Your website looks nice (as does the github found indirectly), but, in the AI assistant era, almost every coin under the sun has a nice website.

Thank you for the honest feedback.

You raise valid points.

ReweCoin is still in active development, and our current focus is on building a stable network, wallet, explorer, and mining infrastructure.

Our goal is not to be just another short-lived fork. We are working toward a long-term ecosystem with transparent development, fair distribution, no premine, and community-driven growth.

As development progresses, we will publish a clearer roadmap and utility plans so miners and users can better understand the project's long-term vision.

Thank you for taking the time to review the project and share your thoughts.
