Pool update, 24 October Big scrypt ASICs now reach their working difficulty within a minute of connecting, instead of four. Vardiff re-checks every 5 seconds while a rig is over target and climbs at least 4x each step, and the pool honours
mining.suggest_difficulty if your firmware sends it. Every rig on the pool came back after the change with zero rejected shares.
If you tried the pool with an Elphapex DG1 and it kept failing over to your backup, please try again: that was the problem this fixes. Full write-up of what was going wrong is in Mining (Altcoins):
Why big scrypt rigs drop off small pools.
Stratum unchanged:
stratum+tcp://blazecoin.co.uk:3333, worker name and secret from the
Mining Pool page.
Is this your rig? evilgenius1999 A rig using the worker name
evilgenius1999.f4c99bc3c7 has been knocking on the pool roughly every 15 minutes since 21 October, day and night. Every time it is turned away, because that worker isn't registered here, so none of its shares count.
My guess is that our pool is set as a backup in its pool list and it fails over to us on a timer. If it's yours, you're one step from being paid for that time:
[list=1]
- Ask for a free invite code in Telegram or Discord (sign-up is invite-only for now).
- Register on the site, open the Mining Pool page and add a miner. The worker name is your choice; you get a secret for it.
- Put that worker name and secret in the rig, using stratum+tcp://blazecoin.co.uk:3333.
Big rig? Put the starting difficulty after the secret, for example
YOUR_WORKER_SECRET,d=65536. The pool also remembers each worker's last difficulty between connections now.
1% PROP, payouts every 15 minutes.
