I work on a small crypto casino called RhinoBetting, so I'm not neutral here. I'm posting because I want honest opinions, not to advertise.
Our setup is simple. There is no account registration. You connect a wallet (Phantom or MetaMask) and play from there. We also don't hold a gambling licence right now, and I'd rather say that upfront than have someone find it later.
That leads to my question for people who have used wallet-connect or no-licence sites:
1. What do you check before depositing on a site like this? Provably fair verification, withdrawal history, how long the operator has been active, something else? 2. Does wallet login make you trust a site more (no stored personal data) or less (harder to resolve a dispute)? 3. Without a licence, what would you expect instead? A public dispute process, a bankroll proof, a long track record here on the forum? 4. Which red flags made you leave a casino in the past?
I'm not asking anyone to sign up. I'd rather hear the criticism now than repeat mistakes others have already called out.

Assuming you don't have that negative tag, I would personally have a look at your platform to give my honest take.
Wallet connect is a no go area for me and the fact that you don't even have license yet, that's a double reason to stay away. You should make it optional in my opinion if you care to have traffic. Anyone interested to connect their wallet to play would do that but definitely not me as long as you have other options available to log in.
Advisably, you should prove Zwei tag wrong before asking us to trust you.

For a new site such as yours i will encourage anyone using it to be sure that the team has escrowed some funds from a reputable user on the forum, this is like a shorty from the gambling site for people to make use of their gambling site. However, I won’t also try to use the gambling site to connect my wallet if at all I must use that gambling site, I wouldn’t mind moving my funds from a primary wallet to a secondary wallet where I can only have the exact amount I am using to gamble without me having to connect the site with my main wallet. Since I am not sure or being guaranteed of the security level of these gambling site, and we do not know how transparent the gambling site will be for one to connect their wallet to site.
I am already seeing a red tag on your profile, what could be the case?
Edit..
From the tag given, it shows that your casino is no longer trustworthy or may have associated with scam intention.

Like I would do for any new site I intend to use, I check for licences, how long the operator has been active, withdrawal history and then reviews. In this case, you are honest to let us know beforehand that the casino is not licensed yet, I will be curious to know how long the casino has existed. But then, I don't trust unlicensed gambling sites. 3. Without a licence, what would you expect instead? A public dispute process, a bankroll proof, a long track record here on the forum?
A long track record here on this forum is enough to resolve my doubts and that of others too I believe. 4. Which red flags made you leave a casino in the past?
Withdrawal issues and poor/slow customer service.

What will make a casino not acquire a license when they are more confident about the opportunity they are pursuing? Now you are cleaning up after them and yet exposing their ass; this shows that some things must have gone wrong between the two of you.
I'm also not impressed by the way you have a negative tab because it also talks more about what you have done earlier with them, maybe by virtue of the promotion you had or some claimed services they do without being reliable in the process; the casino name is not even familiar as expected; I wouldn't risk gambling at such a place, for me.

For a new site they need to establish themselves first. I understand you maybe a small casino yet every casino can offer a 1 to 2 months signature campaign here in the forum if they want to make a name for themselves. It may look like the signature doesn't do much yet many well established casinos have started from here. That would also have removed you that red tag because the way you presented yourself here is not that much trustworthy. Also loads of licenses available for any price range.

In the cryptocurrency world. Privacy is highly recommended and in the area of casino, it is good to have them too but the mode of operation and deposit and withdrawal system determine if the casino is trustworthy or not. License doesn't make a casino t be trustworthy but the transparency and responding to complains a d how questions are solved. If you are interested to launch a No KYC casino, it is good but I don't buy the idea of connecting wallet instead let the wallet shall be created from the casino as a open source wallet which can be running from general Blockchain. And there should be quick respond on queries and quick resolution on complains then you are good to go.
Always me open minded to deal with customers and gamblers.

1. I connect another wallet with a small amount and deposit part of it. 2. For me, it doesn't matter. I don't care if my data gets stolen, and at the same time I use a separate wallet with no funds in it. I think gamblers will have different opinions, depending on what they consider more important. 3. I would prefer a public dispute. User feedback and the way problems are resolved are, to me, the best way to learn something about a casino. 4. Uninformative bans, withdrawal problems, and cheating on bets.

No license isn't a problem for a casual user who rarely gamble and rely picking a casino for the reputation over legal documentation but from your side to have users to trust the site in 2026 then a license is mandatory or people will simply assume it is an attempt to rugpull.
My personal preference, I am not really into the concept of wallet login, I don't want to give permission to my wallet on a random casino because I don't know what permissions I am giving while doing it, so better be caustious than be sorry.

Wallet Permissions: Ensure your Web3 implementation uses plain signature based authentication (EIP-4361 / Sign In with Ethereum) or direct deposit transfers. Never request token spending approvals. If players see a smart contract interaction asking for allowance permissions, they will flag your domain. The License Issue: Most players here know offshore licenses (like Anjouan or Curaçao) are largely rubber stamps anyway. However, without one, you have zero room for operational errors. You need clear, unedited terms, instant automated payouts for standard wins and a willingness to handle disputes out in the open on Bitcointalk. Bonus Trap Avoidance: If you offer deposit matches, make sure terms are crystal clear. High wagering requirements (30x - 40x+) paired with strict maximum bet limits are usually where players feel cheated.

Nothing, I don't use Phantom or MetaMask. If I can’t make a deposit at a casino by sending a transaction from my HW, I won’t gamble there. There are plenty of other casinos to choose from that do allow me to deposit that way.

Top and reputable casinos don't and never employ this, and gamblers are comfortable with the setup, so why would gamblers do it in a random casino, even if there are good reviews and feedback? I don't think you can convince me to proceed. There were issues with platforms connected to users' wallets, so why would I do it if it doesn't have a license, btw, surprisingly, your casino is not available in my region, that's not common, but it's good that it's not with all the red flags about your platform.

Without a license and logging in by connecting a wallet, what consideration would make a gambler trust to try and connect their wallet to your casino? Bonus offers might be attractive, but that may not be enough to keep gamblers playing at your casino. You certainly know how to build reputation and trust in this business.

Whether a casino has a license or not is not a big deal, the big deal is how well the casino treats its users. But wallet connection is not acceptable to me at all. If someone asks me to create an account in this casino, I will say no at the beginning. I will not care whether it has a license or not because my personal wallet will ask me to connect here, so I will give it a zero out of 10. However, currently, acceptance does not depend on the license because there are many casinos that do not have a license, hiding from the government. But wallet connection casinos are risky, so I will not support it at all.

Question: What permissions do you grant when connecting a wallet? You know perfectly well that you can set up the connection in such a way that you’ll have the right to spend the tokens in the wallet! For example, I’m talking about the ERC-20 approve() mechanism. What do you think? Or here’s a classic example: when you click "Claim Tokens", a window opens to confirm the transaction, but… the nature of the transaction is described in a rather complicated way there, and the user confirms the transaction without fully understanding it, and, for example, the funds end up going to a different address (there could be many scenarios here).

I'd rather focus to check on how legit the site is. Even connecting our wallet in malicious site a site can lead our wallet gets drained. Checking the approval has to be the most important thing to consider. 2. Does wallet login make you trust a site more (no stored personal data) or less (harder to resolve a dispute)?
It doesn't. 3. Without a licence, what would you expect instead? A public dispute process, a bankroll proof, a long track record here on the forum?
Nothing to be expected other than your casino potentially running away with my money. 4. Which red flags made you leave a casino in the past?
They gone with my money.

Whether you're using WalletConnect, or showing a deposit address to the user, you would still need to build the same backend to receive payments, checking confirmations count, crediting the amount to the user's account, etc. so why the emphasis on the wallet login when it's not necessarily that convenient for the user (especially outside the EVM/Solana ecosystem) and you can easily implement alternatives?

What a way to introduce a service, especially since the fine red tag on your account describes you as a shady dude, and testifies great things about you and your 2-week crypto casino. You need to be honest here. Are you trying to run a casino or rob people off their coin? Someone might be generous enough to hand them over to you instead of the whole stress you have to go through. 2. Does wallet login make you trust a site more (no stored personal data) or less (harder to resolve a dispute)? I really should be an idiot to trust anything you say. 4. Which red flags made you leave a casino in the past? Red flags like the ones you stated in your proposed casino.

If there is no license then i won’t invest my money based solely on what that site claim. Personally, I look at all of these thing you mentioned. Provably Fair system is very important in such case. It is not enough for this to simply be written in a tag on site. It is also necessary to check whether third party verification is working correctly and whether code is transparent. For instance client and server seed should occasionally be verified using HMAC SHA-256. After making any deposit via wallet connection, it is also worth considering whether withdrawal are processed immediately on blockchain or if they are held up by any manual review process. If any major player win there should be transparency regarding whether that casino has capacity to make payout from its hot wallet.

1: I haven't played in unlicensed casinos in a decade or so, but if i did, i would look from an announcement thread in here what other users are saying about it. 2. No, probably even less. 3. If license wouldn't be an issue to me, it would be that long track record in here. 4. No license, suspiciously defensive responses from the casino, or just if their public statements wouldn't match what they are delivering.
