Even if the platform or casino is licensed and they make it possible for gamblers to gamble by connecting their wallet to the website only I wouldn't use the platform.
There are so many options online today where you can deposit crypto on a casino and start your gambling activities, it shouldn't be this complicated, asking people to connect their crypto wallet will scare alot of customers away.
I am hoping that casino Devs will see this thread and read through it, make it available that customers can deposit crypto to gamble rather. Than asking them to connect their crypto wallets, as you can see many people aren't ready for such nonsense.
I don't blame them, it's 2026 for crying out loud not 2018 where many people have not really seen alot of negativity in this crypto space, one connection to a platform can trigger many crypto wallets getting drained all at once.
by wallet do you mean like one of those from decentralized finance? I haven't tried it yet but it seems really dangerous to give access to your wallet via the web Maybe I'm an old-fashioned person who doesn't trust these things at all.

I am scared to even connect my MetaMask wallet to this kind of gambling site. It's not just about licenses or whatever you believe. Reputation is also a big deal for casinos that don't have the legal necessities.
I forgot when the last time was that I used a gambling site without any registration needed. I comply with KYC because I know the online casino is just trying to follow the rules they were given, including the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Since I have been using their service for a long time and I never had any problems since day 1, I don't think a switch is needed. Also, if I do switch to another one, I'd rather those who are old enough in the service and also has the same terms and conditions.

It seems that the attempt at indirect advertising for the platform backfired.... Which is actually to be expected with this kind of user interaction mechanism. By the way, do you know how to check where your wallet is linked and what permissions the connected platform has? I recommend checking via this tool, and using it to unlink your wallet from any junk sites: https://revoke.cash

[...] 1. What do you check before depositing on a site like this? Provably fair verification, withdrawal history, how long the operator has been active, something else? 2. Does wallet login make you trust a site more (no stored personal data) or less (harder to resolve a dispute)? 3. Without a licence, what would you expect instead? A public dispute process, a bankroll proof, a long track record here on the forum? 4. Which red flags made you leave a casino in the past? [...]
1. Withdrawal history, based on other players' reviews. The longer the operator has been active, the better. If you are just new, then I would have to take extra steps to make myself feel comfortable with those no license and connect wallet things you mentioned. 2. Connecting wallet is fine, but having no license makes me feel less safe. It feels like having two ways to get scammed. Wallet getting hacked and a rigged system. 3. Casino bankroll proof (like an exchange's proof of reserves) and the casino's track record online on well respected crypto forums or communities, like this forum, for example. 4. Community judgment. Other than that, it's just based on feeling. If I feel the system is starting unfair then I leave. No need to check for provably fair or anything similar to that.

Most folks are psychologically sensitive to privacy. That's why they end up using direct wallet-connected casinos.
On this forum, you hardly see anyone who is using such a casino to gamble. This may not be a marketing pattern, which I perceive it to be, but it doesn't change the view of members on the casino. Additionally, the red tag on your profile literally disqualifies you and that casino. It's a red flag.

The login thing through a wallet is fine but there are some risks with it such as malicious smart approvals. Those who are cautious like me will use a burner wallet to login to such casinos. Besides this wallet login feature will neither increase nor decrease a casino's reputation. I think if a platform has transparency such as providing users with transparent proof of bankroll then it can be an trust alternative for a casino. I think sudden withdrawal limits or delay can be a red flag for a casino and going silent during community disputes also a red flag.

I work on a small crypto casino called RhinoBetting, so I'm not neutral here. I'm posting because I want honest opinions, not to advertise.
you sure about that? are you sure about that? Our setup is simple. There is no account registration. You connect a wallet (Phantom or MetaMask) and play from there.
then what is this? do you not know how your own website registration works? We also don't hold a gambling licence right now, and I'd rather say that upfront than have someone find it later.
how is your application for the curacao license going? 1. What do you check before depositing on a site like this? Provably fair verification, withdrawal history, how long the operator has been active, something else? 2. Does wallet login make you trust a site more (no stored personal data) or less (harder to resolve a dispute)? 3. Without a licence, what would you expect instead? what are you asking all of this for? so you can make your next casino look less obvious as a scam? I'm not asking anyone to sign up. I'd rather hear the criticism now than repeat mistakes others have already called out.
Don’t worry anyone in his right sense who has gone through the reason why Zwei gave you a tag won’t signup.. him saying that is so funny, because he didn't make a single reply about the "mistakes others have already called out" on the casino thread.

For me the first thing would be how long the site has been around and what people here say about its withdrawals, since a long public track record is hard to fake. Wallet login is nice for privacy, but it makes disputes harder, so without a licence I'd want an operator who answers publicly on the forum. Red flags would be vague terms, bonus rules that keep changing, and support that goes quiet when you ask about withdrawals.

I went through the thread, he literally abandoned the thread after the post from logfiles, I guess he’s just recruited for the account with little knowledge about the Casino itself or they just cooked up lies to cover up for their Casno.. Forgot to add that we will still tag any existing user who eventually raises future scam accusations unless they answer the questions and clear the air before the accusations.

Especially that line about preferring to hear the criticism now rather than repeat the mistakes others have already called out, because so far it doesn't really match what we're seeing here.

The threads for promoting the Casino are also doing partly fine with engagement except the fact that Zwei is ruining the whole plan . The current account owner(s) said they are working at the Casino or maybe they meant “they are working for the Casino”. It is simple, the owner should login and answer the questions if he’s not really the one currently running the account/get a proper representative who can handle the questions or they get more red paint on their account.

How do you come out with a platform with wallet integration and no license, because you think it's good, or obviously, you did not do a study first, and now you're doing a survey to verify that you started on the wrong foot? You should know better when launching a platform, especially if it's a casino, you should do a study and be as transparent as possible. Your tag shows that you have not completed your assignment, and you did not take the right steps to earn the community's trust.

Your tag shows that you have not completed your assignment, and you did not take the right steps to earn the community's trust. To be fair, this would not the first case of a platform which does not have any license or regulation and also allows people to register and access to their services only using their wallet. It used to be very common when new casinos started to appear and people had Web3 on their minds and mouth, but it was just a fad and people moved on from it eventually. Since people are not as interested as before in Web3 and privacy enhancing features or even in the metaverse, it makes services like those to look shady and potentially dangerous, as they could prompt our wallets to get drained in seconds. The best advice I would give to OP would be to allow people to register without using one's wallet, and also get some kind of license in the near future, it may help to build some trust. I am not sure whether he is on time to do such a thing or not, though.

Without a licence, what would you expect instead?
Even with Curacao or Anjouan license, it does not guarantee that scam won't occur. However if that is not available you will have to choose alternative path to earn trust. What you already mentioned are crutial. Yes, you can check public on chain solvency proof, I mean Proof of Reserve. You can request on chain proof regarding amount of reserve fund any casino hold for player deposit and payout. You can check track record and public dispute thread on our forum. If casino has any representative you can check whether they have good trust rating. If players encounter any problem or issue with withdrawal then they should be prepared to address them openly on forum. You could also ask whether they have escrow service or any smart contract locking system. Funds for large bet and game payout are held in smart contract escrow, ensuring that operator cannot simply abscond with player's winning.

I have Rainbet, and other options like Roobet and stake, why would I leave behind any of this to get my crypto wallet compromised simply because I want the simplicity of connecting my crypto wallet directly to a online casino?
Why should anyone do it? Or maybe the creator of the casino aka dev thinks it's a good idea or a missing utility in online gambling space? Well they got it all wrong if that's the case.
It's already playing out like I thought, almost all the comments in this thread are saying they don't want it, people are on high alerts with crypto wallets this year alone.

So, you are casino rep! I have no interest of browsing your casino, but I'm certain you don't hold any license. And I assume you're looking for ways to build trust without license, right? If you genuinely want your project to survive, you could compensate for lack of license by providing public on chain wallet proof and running signature campaigns on forum. Conducting long term honest signature campaign on forum is very positive step for any casino. Otherwise community will categorize you alongside any other rug pull or wallet drainer scam. Anyway, your activity on forum is highly suspicious. You could learn by observing how other legitimate casinos conduct their operation on this forum.

Some people may say it is not fair to compare Stake, Rainbet, Duel and other big centralized casinos with a smaller casino which is not regulated and whose intention is to have people logged in with their wallets. Though, in reality, I believe it is a fair enough comparison, as all of those casinos are competing for the same gamblers and for the same deposit volume (which is not infinite). Small casinos like this one being described by OP are mostly visited by gamblers who jump from a casino to another very often, and done stay on a single service much time, it is not my case, but It is a fact gamblers like that exist in this ecosystem...
