Welcome to the Bitcointalk forum, Spinatoshi.

It seems you still haven't purchased the copper membership yet, so I suggest you buy it (costs only around $30).
This membership will allow you to post images, and lift off some of the newbie restrictions that you currently have, and enable you to make a better ANN thread!

I'm still going through your Terms and Condition page, and I had a few question. Are you a newly created casino? Or how long have you been operating? whois says, you registered recently, that's why I was wondering whether you are a new or old.

Welcome to Bitcointalk platform. I had to be patient while reading through your announcement thread. Could you try purchase a copper membership as advised then upload a good designed graphics with pictorial excerpt from your website so that it will be some worth attractive to read as that is very professional than this long post you have put up here.

I could not pick anywhere KYC was stated here on your announcement thread, are you a KYC casino? Does your casino have regional restriction?

You can look at other announcement thread and see for yourself how it looks like and I believe you will understand why you will have to do it with a touch of excellence.

It's a Yes and No answer!  Roll Eyes

So according to them (in simple words),

Crypto User = No KYC (there is a condition though).
Fiat User = Yes KYC (assuming, since they said they won't ask for KYC for Crypto only users, so they will for the fiat ones).

  • No KYC required for crypto-only players for standard play and withdrawals; verification may be requested above certain withdrawal amounts, for fiat payments, or for security/AML reasons

Then they hit you with Section 4, which says, you may still be subjected to KYC if it falls under section 4.

So you see, the loophole still exists... Wink

@Spinatoshik, Please fix the numbering in your sections, everything is labelled as 1.

It is alright for them to not talk about it except to state if they do not require kyc. It is a problem when casinos that have terms clearly reserving their rights to ask for documents claim to be zero KYC for marketing purposes.

...
Cumulative of €2k is a small limit. High and medium rollers who prefer to not submit any documents will be skeptical about signing up.

But this casino doesn't claim to be kyc free. It is clearly mentioned in the OP that kyc is required for every fiat user and for crypto users under certain circumstances. Until now, the casino isn't about to promote itself as a nokyc casino like we see with almost all new lunching casinos since a while. Personally, I liked the presentation without too much crowded op with images and colors. I read op in full and I think there are clear info to reply most of the feedback. We will see what they are planning for marketing and promotional campaigns.

Since you have the threshold rules of one account per household, I believe this thread is the right place to ask this question. What happens when people who are staying in the same area share the same public Wi-Fi and there is no possibility of the next person knowing if they'm using your casino or not. What will happen in such a situation? Will everyone live in same area classified as coming from the same household?

Welcome to the Bitcointalk forum.

Your first focus when explaining your casino was on a crypto-based casino, the majority of casinos here are crypto casinos. You are joining other brands here to do marketing and build the brand, gamblers are looking for something fun and attractive, which is how you pull customers. Over the years, we've seen a consistent stream of crypto-based casinos launched every week.

Do well to research campaign managers to help publish your brand well, your current ANN presentation isn't appealing enough.

Welcome to Bitcointalk.
I would have expected you, as a new casino around here, to show something which you could offer than other casinos could not, you know...
No offense, but within this industry there are thousands of tens of thousands of casinos which already offer the same things you are offering to us and are also licenses and regulated in the same manner you are.

I checked the coins you accept to deposit to see if you accepted monero by any chance, and it seems you do not since you are fully regulated and monero is getting banned from every casino and exchange.

Anyways, if you want people from this community to pay attention to your service, then you have a long way to go before you get more attention from us, a signature campaign or a decent ANN would be a good start.

Your account will most likely be suspected of being a multi-account, this is why it is better if you do not access or play online gambling in public free Wi-Fi or even in your office where you are working because you may not know if there are others around you who play in the same casino. It applies in general, not only in this casino because most casino apply the same rule related to 1 account per household.

Can you explain your sports wagerjng requirement?

Sports betting: each deposit must be wagered at least three (3) times on bets with odds of 1.80 or higher per selection. Example: a deposit of €10 requires at least €30 in qualifying bets before a withdrawal can be requested. Casino: each deposit must be wagered at least once (1x) in casino games before a withdrawal can be requested.

The following do not count towards the deposit wagering requirement:
bets with odds lower than 1.80 per selection; betslips containing Draw No Bet or Asian Handicap selections; bets that were cashed out; bets on postponed or void events; bets placed with bonus funds
.
3× wagering requirement is unreasonable for sports. More so when you follow it up with odds minimum as high as 1.80 and also exclude some betting options. For bonuses these are stringent rules, for actual deposit plays, very unreasonable, imo. A 1× wagering protects against any improper use like laundering or mixing purposes.

i swear i have seen a similar website before, but i can't remember the name or find it again.

anyway, i would like to ask OP about their 100% real "licence CRG / 117 / 15.10.2026 - 15.10.2027 issued in Costa Rica".
how did you manage to get a license from a country that doesn't have an online gaming license authority? are you from an alternative universe?  Shocked

you want us to believe this website costaricagaming.com is an official government authority? LOLOLOLOLOL
i don't know if you think we are stupid, or if you are that retarded to pay for a fake license (or maybe you own that website?).

unless you want to risk getting scammed, i would stay the fuck away from this casino everyone.

Actually, it is possible to check companies registered in Costa Rica, you can do it on this website: https://www.rnpdigital.com/

However, after trying various search methods, I was unable to find a company called SPIN REELS registered in Costa Rica.

Licence & Operator
Operator: Spin Reels S.R.L, registration 455754, San José, Costa Rica.
Licence: CRG / 117 / 15.10.2026 – 15.10.2027 (Costa Rica).

The biggest paradox is that Costa Rica issues these kinds of licenses when someone registers this type of business. According to their authorities, you cannot offer these services to the residents of Costa Rica, but they claim that you can do it in other countries, which is not true.
It is hard for me to say if someone who registers a casino there realizes this or not, but it is definitely highly irresponsible if they don't check it first.

In short, Costa Rican authorities live by the "out of sight, out of mind" rule. They basically tell operators: "We aren't interested in what you do in Europe, Asia, or Africa. As long as you don't scam our citizens and you pay your local corporate taxes, you are free to operate."

i tried doing that before and i just gave up, that portal doesn't even load for me 80% of the time, and i had to use a VPN set to costa rica in the first place to get it to work.

However, after trying various search methods, I was unable to find a company called SPIN REELS registered in Costa Rica.

the company registration and whether it's real or not is a separate issue to what i was talking about.
my post was about the specific license OP claims they have, they even have a badge with a verification link in the footer: https://verification.costaricagaming.com/spinatoshi.html

from what i know, costa rica doesn't have a gaming authority that gives such licenses, they simply do not exist.
you can run an online crypto casino from costa rica, but there is no license that you can get like the ones in curacao or anjouan.

(i even asked gemini just to make sure)

so yeah, OP is just making shit up.

the company registration and whether it's real or not is a separate issue to what i was talking about.
my post was about the specific license OP claims they have, they even have a badge with a verification link in the footer: https://verification.costaricagaming.com/spinatoshi.html

from what i know, costa rica doesn't have a gaming authority that gives such licenses, they simply do not exist.
you can run an online crypto casino from costa rica, but there is no license that you can get like the ones in curacao or anjouan.

(i even asked gemini just to make sure)

so yeah, OP is just making shit up.

You are 100% correct, there is no such thing as a "Costa Rica Gaming Authority" run by the government. Anyone can buy a domain like "costaricagaming.com" and set up a professional - looking "verification" page to trick players into thinking they are regulated.

The domain they are using for verification was privately registered and has absolutely no ties to any official government entity in Costa Rica. It’s just a self-made fake badge to create an illusion of legitimacy.

On top of that, since the company itself cannot even be found in the actual Costa Rican National Registry (rnpdigital.com), they didn't even bother to register a real local business entity before setting up their fake licensing authority.

I doubt we will get any explanation from the OP anyway. Just another one bites the dust.

Actually, it is possible to check companies registered in Costa Rica, you can do it on this website: https://www.rnpdigital.com/
i tried doing that before and i just gave up, that portal doesn't even load for me 80% of the time, and i had to use a VPN set to costa rica in the first place to get it to work.

However, after trying various search methods, I was unable to find a company called SPIN REELS registered in Costa Rica.

Licence & Operator
Operator: Spin Reels S.R.L, registration 455754, San José, Costa Rica.
Licence: CRG / 117 / 15.10.2026 – 15.10.2027 (Costa Rica).

Yep, that's true. Costa Rica doesn't issue online gambling license. The site offering this, "costaricagaming.com", isn't even an official government website; it's a private company. It's just a false badge. Costa Rica doesn't offer any real regulatory protection for online gambling. It's basically self-regulated type shit, the equivalent of a business writing its own permission slip.

Yes, Costa Rica allows companies to set up there, but that's not the same as issuing a gambling license. So yeah, the operator likely got scammed into thinking they were actually licensed.

On a side note, look at this:

https://x.com/ToddWitteles/status/2112565132962468086?s=20

The Guardian's investigation shows that the "Anjouan Gaming Authority" isn't even affiliated with the government of Anjouan or Comoros, and that a private company is selling license under their name. Well, let's see how the story develops in the future.

One thing is for sure, Costa Rica doesn't issue online gambling license. That's just a private company operating under the Costa Rica Gaming name lol

Edit: @TheAndy500 already explained most of the points. Didn't see his post while I was writing this, mbad.

Your account will most likely be suspected of being a multi-account, this is why it is better if you do not access or play online gambling in public free Wi-Fi or even in your office where you are working because you may not know if there are others around you who play in the same casino. It applies in general, not only in this casino because most casino apply the same rule related to 1 account per household.
Thanks for helping me in clarifying this, I just needed to ask because I recently moved to an area in my country where an internet company offers a cheap unlimited data plan which is not common at that value in my country. I currently subscribe to it and all my home gadgets are making use of it, which made me raise that question because I know I'm not the only one in my area who use same network that also gambles. I just have to be careful henceforth.
