Can't believe a casino will be doing that because they literally have nothing to gain in this thing they are doing instead they are losing. I think there's something fishy going on that people may not know because it is very hard for a casino to be rendering such service when Their main purpose of coming into this gambling space is to make profit just like other casino companies does. But if truly they are doing this without having any evil thought then I would rate them as one of the best casino site ever because it is not easy for a casino to pay for something they know nothing about.
On what basis do you say that they got nothing to gain from this? Just like a few other users have already pointed out, they are probably trying to build their own reputation through this, and trying to get their position stronger in the industry which is full of big players, and to be honest, it seems like it is working pretty fine for them considering the fact that they are being discussed everywhere for what they are doing, which means they are going to gain a lot of attention from the gambling industry and gamblers. Any gambler who has lost money or have the fear of facing such a thing might turn to them as their new home because if a platform is paying others for their losses, no one would expect them to do the same thing.

It's probably a master plan, because nothing is done in this world without a purpose, but the plan doesn't necessarily have to be a negative one. They are spending money by paying users for their losses that were caused by other platforms so that they can make more money from gamblers they are going to get through this, so they probably know what they are doing.

It's good PR.
$1 million isn't a particularly large sum for a casino, but it sounds good. At least they earn the loyalty of the gamblers they helped. But I think they attract far more gamblers than that. As a result, they make more money than they spend.

P.S. Still, it's a good step that will help small-stakes gamblers who aren't ready to fight for their rights in court.
There's always going to be a catch at the end of the day. Perhaps they intend to launch their own platform or do something else, but it's quite odd to just be a justice system that helps other gamblers with their own funds. Who is or are the sponsors of this, how did they get their funds they help out with? It's definitely good PR, but to what end?
Am hoping to see how long they remain and keep doing this good work because from my experience nothing is ever really free or there's always a motive.
I like the fact they are helping small stakes gamblers though, but won't the big stakes gamblers see this as cheating and cause a ruckus in the end or along the line?
My thoughts though.
The purpose is to attract attention, bring in new gamblers, and make more profit. Maybe their RTP is bad compared to other casinos, and this is how they're trying to attract new clients? I don't know.
With $1 million, they can help at least a few hundred small-stakes gamblers. That's much better than helping 10–20 high rollers. And I don't think those gamblers will accuse them of cheating - no one is obliged to help them. It's just a goodwill gesture from one casino, that's all.

At what cost is that? A million dollars.. OMG!
It never gets funnier than this. We're slowly moving into an era where bonuses and free spins won't matter anymore, because if this works for them, let's hope to see 4 more casinos join the pool. Infact, I don't have anything to lose so they can do whatever they want with their money.
To be honest, I'm curious if this kind of marketing would work for them and actually build a solid PR from it. I mean, this is the first time I've seen a casino put aside a that much money to for gamblers who have been wronged by casinos.

This will only make those wrong doers go wild because why not? After all, they are sure that you'll get compensated. So technically, Cashy is giving out free money to scammers in the name of PR.
True, what they are doing isn't really pushing accountability on the casinos that have "wronged" the gamblers. Basically, they are just giving out money in hopes of getting good PR from it.

Fun Fact: This casino was operated by Gareton B.V. which is same company of BitStarz casino that has negative trust rating on the forum.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=307265

Wait what?  Cheesy
And here I thought these guys doing such philanthropic acts would not have any taint on their tuxedos. I mean, reading this guy's "research" one would think they're all good through and through.
Gareton B.V is the parent company of cashy casino and if you look closely, you will see that the manager/owner Frank Douglas is heavily associated with several philanthropic initiatives. He serves as the chair of the Chineke! Foundation, which is a registered UK charity and amongst others, so in such sense, it is no wonder his company could render such humanitarian compensation to victims of casino scams.
I guess that answers the mystery of why they have not made any official announcement thread in this forum. Most users would probably quickly connect them to their previous platform and paint them red, almost immediately.  Grin

Their idea is a good one as it solves problems that are near deadlock between casinos and players. But to think of it, is there any insurance backing them to be doing such a favour or whatever it is called to players who were wronged by casino's? Because I am still wondering what must have inspired them to take up such task when they have not shown publicly their source or sponsorship or does the casino give them the money they forfeited and then they release it to the owner's? If not how do they generate their fund's to be able to sustain this movement they have initiated.

In my opinion, it's pretty simple. Cashy most likely sees this fund not just as a charity initiative, but also as a pretty effective marketing tool.
None of us here will know until julerz12 posts it here. It's a very costly marketing method, but it's unique and it might turn out to be an effective one. I just checked their reviews on Trustpilot, and they have a very low rating, with complaints about withdrawal issues. Do the complainants know about this Cashy Justice fund initiative?

https://www.trustpilot.com/review/cashy.com
Most casino reviews on trustpilot are soo poor, literally. Try to check them even Stake, rollbit, duelbits, etc. but im not saying those reviews are legit or not, they might or might not. It's just that relying reviews on trustpilot are not so certain and reliable. Forum users with their casino experience with community/forum reputation is the best way for reference and guide to choose what casino to choose.

Probably they are just there to fight for gamblers that experience tough time with some of this casino reputation and having their money hanging on their platform, who knows probably if they eventually get to acquire the money back from the casino, they will definitely issue it to the gamblers concerned, all I think they are more confident of his their legal backing which I think is enough to use in attacking against any casino that is not complying with their request to release gamblers fund.

I believe the main driving factor for Cashy is the Customer Acquisition Cost. It has become extremely competitive nowadays for crypto casinos. They have already spent plenty of money for advertisements and bonuses in order to get a new and loyal gambler for their platform. And now  if they provide a scam victim with an average of $1,000 refund (though I saw max 10k from their website), he will probably become their lifelong loyal customer. Whatever he bets in the future, he will always trust Cashy. In other words, this is not about charity or donation at all, but about a really wise investment on their part. Furthermore, for this work, platforms such as AskGamblers and forum users talk about them for free. And the level of brand value which they achieve through this organic marketing can hardly be reached through classic one.

This is the reason why we should try as much to keep clean at all costs otherwise, there'll be times you'll be full of dirts and by the time there you'd want to set the records right you won't be trusted because, you've failed the people in one way or the other that your priors always been centered around your personal interests and same time taking advantage of the people.
Of course this is just how this so casino is going to be oversight because, it's ALMOST impossible to trust this news including the platform.
If that's true of this casino, then they really worth the best in terms of considering the user's right or being justifiably FAIR like that.
My thumbs 👍.

I believe they are commissioned to possibly be effective on such mission but I am still wondering how they go about it because I don't think they can be able to solve all payment issues between casino's and player's and maybe it might not be all cases they might look into or accept and of such happens then it would look one-sided but however it goes, the concept is a nice one. Maybe they can be open to tell the community how they secure the funds to pay back players wrongly treated by casinos.

That $1 million allocation for their so-called Cashy Justice Fund is useless if they are associated with casinos with bad feedback, they are going in the wrong direction. It's better for them to resolve issues at the casino where they are associated.
Players will still go for reputation, but this is not a good way to establish it, fixing other people's issues in other casinos while neglecting their own.
Seeing that we now have a topic about their cashy fund justice, will they come here to address and explain this issue? They can't ignore this topic because it's quick to go viral here.

... and the users who have been helped will have the sense of giving back to them by staying and gambling more and advertise them through other gambling forums if someone will ask for help.
It might be, human mind really works like that, it's something like being gratitudem

Well, not until they experienced bad on that casino after using it lmao. I can't say they (users) won't experience bad things like getting locked due to different reasons, etc etc. But if the casino keep climbing the ladder of reputation, i guess that's fine.

I just observed that the casino logo have distinct similarity from colors to the font used. As for the casino looks, well, most casino have almost the same looks and UX.
Yeah, it's all good from the beginning but they have to maintain that good customer support and service. Because once they start to make mistakes even for once, these people that are trying to give them back their trust on them after the help will also step away from them. That's how it works even only once. The human psychology on how this marketing will work for a while but we'll not know until when.

For Cashy its to early to conclude that they are good, but I always have doubts towards site offering similar services.
Correct, we'll see how it will go maybe after a couple of months and if they have helped more. Good that they help but, the actual service matters too.

Relying on the credibility of the anonymous review is highly dangerous since the testimonial could easily be one among the many false testimonials in the modern era. The direct link through customer reviews has proved to be much more credible than the sponsored advertisements that may mislead you. You should analyze the background of the commenter for the genuineness of the review.

It is natural to skeptical while considering new service such as cashy to protect your money. Looking at the grammatical structure in the comment section will make it easier for you to detect the use of automated tool to boost the image.

I've recently stumbled upon this casino (Cashy.com) that supposedly offers help to users who have been wronged by other online casinos. They are calling it the Cashy Justice Fund.

[...]

Very good! I did not know that this existed.
But, just to be clear, although this initiative is genuinely useful for some players, the likely motivation is customer acquisition marketing rather than pure philanthropy. It is an "interesting" way for a new casino to buy credibility and qualified traffic to attract people who already bet elsewhere.

Anyway... my intention is not speak badly of them, quite the opposite... I hope more initiatives like this emerge, there are many unregulated casinos or casinos with a bad reputation on the internet that deceive many people.

Correct, even if this is not an act out of pure philanthropy, it does not make it a bad thing at all, all the contrary, they are doing a very good deed to many people who have wronged by shady casinos and bookies all around the internet.
Nothing in this life is free, there is no question about it, you know?. So obviously, this casinos must be getting something from all this initiative, and from what i see, their strategy is to get to the hearts and minds of gamblers on the internet, so they get extra traffic and more good PR, increasing their profits in the long term as well.

I believe this is the case of a win-win situation for both the casino and gamblers who have been wronged.
I makes me wonder if other casinos and bookies (those with enough money) will start to do the same in the future if this proves to be a good strategy.
