Did TMAN return?

I saw an account a few days ago "tmanisadiety" which claimed to be TMAN and was wanting to recover their account - from the 3 posts I saw they sure sounded like TMAN of old but then the account was nuked.

Is TMAN banned? or was there evidence that it was not actually TMAN?

Nobody seems to know anything about TMAN after years of inactivity. But that account [1] was never going to be the real TMAN. I think a veteran member, like TMAN should be able to recover his lost account through the known process. I don't know why tmanisadiety got banned, but I guess he was trying to impersonate TMAN to get access to his account without showing real ownership proof. The admins should have nuked him without hesitation.

I wish TMAN is fine, like I wish he will come back to his bitcointalk family.

Looks like a troll who was trying to get some few minutes of fame. There is no record of the TMAN account changing the password according to Bpip which would have been one of the signs pointing to his accounts getting compromised
All he has to do is use the old password or simply change to a new one. As an old member, I am pretty sure he also knows the procedure of recovering the account minus creating an alt account going on to make a stupid first post in Meta.

Is it posts of him got archived? I wish to look does he really sounds like TMAN, or it's cheap copy who wants to get attention. Second option is more likely because it's really hard to repeat TMAN's style. I wish it would be he, but unfortunately, I think it's very unlikely. It's been more than 6 years since he disappeared (damn, time flies so fast) and I think he will never know reasons why he left forum.

Funny enough that the banned account mentioned he has a circumcised penis. I can confirm TMAN was circumcised.

There is no way to determine whether it was truly the real TMAN based on just those three posts. Someone could have simply trained an AI on his old posts to make it sound like him.
Imo, those posts are "too much" TMAN, as if someone were trying a bit too hard to sound like him.

This is exciting news - first KWH now TMAN - we need more historical clarity around here. Recently I've been accused of having superior investigative skills - I'm glad TMAN can now take back his scam busting crown.

I was thinking now that someone with a rich forum history they will be able to prove to people that communicated privately with them that they are the real person just by sharing personal pm info they have had, but most people have Newbies locked from sending them personal messages anyway.

The other straightforward option will be proving ownership of a bitcoin address used previously. That's the path an older member will likely take except they were being eccentric and trying to make an entrance.

LoyceV occasionally mentions Tman and I have also read his thread of Tman's compilation, I believe he will be one of those to detect if truly Tman is back.

What comes to your mind if someone tells you "Tman sounds like a bitcoiner with tourette's? It means they don't have a filter! And trust me, if he's to vulgar for you, you'd just have to grow a thick skin cause I'm sure the user doesn't give two fucks. I only heard about TMAN from other users but they seem like a cool personality and it will be great to have them back.

The archived posts sounded like him but it was very heavy handed for the first few posts of someone returning - then the account was nuked. and with no pw changes - I would think that it should be easy for him to log back in unless he had 2fa on and no longer has the 2fa device?

One post was asking what was necessary to recover.

I'm 50-50 on whether or not it was him. It sounds a bit too over-the-top to me. His original account is not locked in any way, and he hasn't attempted to recover it.

TMANISADIETY did say, "Those fuckers who know me personally..... ping me and lets get on a call." If you knew him and you're willing to expose yourself to a possible scammer collecting veteran users' info, you could try PMing TMANISADIETY your contact info. He'll still get your PM via an email notification. (We won't recover TMAN's original account based only on other users vouching for him, though.)

I did not have the privilege of of interacting with TMAN but what I read about him here, especially his use of vulgar language makes me think he might be the one but it is too early to conclude. It will not be long before everything become clear. Like Theymos said, requesting a PM for his number is a red flag for me because there is no benefit for doing that beside getting exposed to possible scam.

Woa! I am impressed even theymos (TIL, 't' is not capital) chimed in. May be I am unaware of how much of a big deal was TMAN.

Based on how he wrote it, sounded like him but the safest bet is if his using the original account. This is actually nice if TMAN's back, Id remembered Ive interacted with him in the past and I recall how he casually drop merits like pancake if he likes what you comment or post. Lets just hope its the real one and not some prankster whose good to imitate someone like TMAN.
