Thanks for trying EncryptLock! Here is exactly how to get USDC into the app, step by step:
1. In the EncryptLock app, tap the USDC coin (the blue $ at the top). Copy YOUR address there: it starts with 0x... (not the lock1... address).
2. On your exchange (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken...), go to Withdraw / Send and choose:
- Coin: USDC
- Network: Polygon (it may be called "Polygon POS" or "MATIC/POL"). Do NOT choose Ethereum (ERC20), BNB Smart Chain or any other network.
- Address: paste your 0x... address from step 1
- Amount: what you want to use to buy LOCK
3. Send also a little POL (about 1 POL is plenty) to the SAME 0x... address, again on the Polygon network. POL pays Polygon's network fee (a few cents per payment). Without POL the app cannot pay.
4. Wait a few minutes. The USDC and POL appear in the app under their coins.
5. Open Buy / Sell, pick an offer (the best price has a star) and confirm. The LOCK come to your wallet as soon as the payment is seen.
Every step is shown in our videos on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/@ENCRYPTLOCKIf your USDC still don't show, please check:
- Network: was it Polygon? If you picked Ethereum or BNB, the USDC went to that network, not to Polygon. They are not lost, but the app only shows Polygon.
- Coin: was it USDC or USDC.e? The app shows native USDC (contract 0x3c499c542cEF5E3811e1192ce70d8cC03d5c3359). USDC.e, the old bridged version, does not show.
- Address: was it the 0x... address from the app?
Reply with the transaction ID (TxID / hash) or your 0x... address and I'll check exactly where the USDC are. Both are public and safe to share. Never share your 24 words with anyone.
Also make sure you have the latest app: Settings > at the bottom you see "EncryptLock 1.0.x". If in doubt, reinstall the latest version from our website (link in the first post).
Thanks for sending the address. Let's check it together:
1. In the EncryptLock app, tap the USDC coin (the blue $ at the top). Is the 0x... address shown there exactly the same one you posted here?
2. If it is the same, the USDC and POL appear under their own coins (USDC is not LOCK). To get LOCK, open Buy / Sell and take an offer.
3. If it is different, you sent to another wallet (for example your exchange wallet). Send again to the 0x... address shown in the app, choosing the Polygon network.
4. Make sure you have the latest app: Settings > at the bottom "EncryptLock 1.0.14". If in doubt, reinstall the latest version from our website.
Tell me what you see and I'll help you with the next step.
Update: short pause tonight + version 1.0.15
The network paused for a few hours last night. That was on purpose: the developer switched off his LockKeeper (the PC that runs the blockchain, creates blocks and earns LOCK) to give everyone time to install the new version. While there are fewer than 20 LockKeepers, the network depends on his PC, so a pause on his side means no blocks for a while. Nothing is lost: balances, guarantees and accounts stay as they are. Once there are 20 active LockKeepers, the network is shared among all the computers that are on, and no single PC can stop it.
Why the update
Yesterday someone used several accounts and computers to game the market. They sold 1000 LOCK for $1 to their own account, which crashed the price, and moved coins between accounts to get a bigger guarantee and a bigger share of the rewards.
What changed (1.0.14 + 1.0.15)
- Guarantee: $1, the same for everyone. Each PC counts as one; rewards follow the hours a PC is connected, not the size of the guarantee.
- Price: the price shown in the app is the price the rules use. Offers must stay within ±40% of it (at $0.25: from $0.15 to $0.35).
- Max 3 trades a day between the same two accounts.
- Only accounts that are at least 7 days old count for the price.
- New badges: 💎 Secure account (7 days or more) and 🆕 New account (less than 7 days), on offers and in the LockKeeper list.
What to do
Open the app → Settings and check that it says 1.0.15. If not, install the latest version from the site (link in the first post). LockKeepers that were stopped come back by themselves after the update; nothing else is needed. A word on multiple computers
Having several PCs is fine: each one can run a LockKeeper and earns for the hours it is connected. Trading between your own accounts to move the price is a different thing. Every trade is public on the blockchain and anyone can see it, us included. With the new rules it simply doesn't pay off: prices stay within ±40% of the price shown, the same two accounts can trade at most 3 times a day, and accounts younger than 7 days don't count for the price.
Thanks for the screenshots, they help a lot.
Good news first: your coins arrived and they are safe. Your address 0x1B6F...bc7a holds 1.9774 USDC (the right one, native USDC on Polygon) and about 28.07 POL. You can check it yourself on Polygonscan by searching your address.
The "—" in the app does not mean zero. It means the app on your PC could not reach the Polygon network to read the balance. The servers are working, so something on your PC is most likely blocking the connection. Please try:
1. Close the app completely and open it again; wait about 30 seconds on the USDC page.
2. If you use a VPN, an antivirus with a web shield, or a firewall, allow EncryptLock or switch them off for a moment and try again.
3. Check in Settings that the app says 1.0.15. If not, or if it still shows "—", uninstall and install the latest version from the site (link in the first post).
About the price and the 1000 LOCK guarantee you see: the network was paused last night for the update, so the app was showing old numbers from before the fix. Once it reloads, the price and the guarantee follow the new rules.
