Rate Type (Fixed/Floating): floating - I choose floating because I have used the fixed rate as often as I have used other exchanges, so I decided to use the floating rate today as I see it as a gamble against the network.
Time to Complete:I started the swap at 12:59 pm and I was told that the transaction will be processed at 2 network confirmations. 20mins estimated time for the network confirmation was given. At exactly 13:21 which is 20 mins, 1 confirmation was not even recorded. So, if we don't control the network time, needless giving the estimation.
In a nutshell, I was refunded after about 3hrs + of trying to swap without knowing why I was refunded.
Rate Received vs Expected: I expected to receive $30.16 but after about 3 hours trying to swap, I was refunded $28.50. The reason the swap was not concluded is what I don't. What I intended to swap was higher than the minimum deposit, why was I refunded instead of continuing with the swap since I choose the float rate.
Support Experience (if used):After about 2 hours of not receiving my coin, I decided to chat the support. I sent a message and went off screen for a few minutes, before I returned the support concluded that I was trying to cheat the system with arbitrage something I don't know... It was so bad that he didn't even ask me some basic questions. In fact, you have the most aggressive support I have seen. I will attach the screenshot of the chat.
What I liked: - I can set how much I want to recieve and how much I will send will automatically recalculate vice versa
- Cleaness of the UI
- The clarity of fee breakdown
- No KYC or registration required
- The dark mode
What could be improved:- The letter of Guarantee verification is not straight forward. I will recommend that you list with Bitlist.co because that platform provides easy PGP verification for forum members
- The telegaram I tested was used to tract the swap. Some of your competitors have telegram swapping, where you can start and conclude swap without visiting the website
- Improve the customer support, I don't believe I was labelled a cheat without any interrogations
- Also shorten the estimated time for support to respond to chat. As I messaged support, I was told that support responds with 1 hr. That was why I was confident leaving the screen. Before I came back, support concluded that I was trying to cheat, ended the swap and initiated refund and ended the chat.
Overall Rating: 5/10
I would have rated more than did assuming my swap went through irrespective of the fee and assuming the support was a bit friendly.
