There are so many chains fighting for users and liquidity right now. Some are pretty new, like Unichain, Monad, HyperEVM, Arc and Robinhood Chain, while Polygon, Avalanche and BNB Chain have been around for a while.
Which one do you actually use the most? And what makes you pick a chain: low fees, speed, liquidity, security, or just the ecosystem and apps on it?
Also curious which of the newer ones you think will still matter a year from now.

Why isn't Ethereum part of your voting options though? I thought that's pretty much the champion amongst all the altcoins.

The BNB chain is what I am using mostly if I have to transfer. Before, it was ETH with its ERC20 and I've witnessed the cheaper fee days of it. But when it has become crowded and a lot of projects and smart contracts were built in it, everyone seen the inflation for its fee. With BNB(BEP20), whether it's with the stable coins or with its actual token. I have not been charged unusual high fees for a transfer. Why isn't Ethereum part of your voting options though? I thought that's pretty much the champion amongst all the altcoins.
It's exempted I think.

Robinhood must be the underrated one from that list. Just in a short time after the launch, it's successfully attracting more than a billion TVL on its chain. The thing that i really like it is about i can trade tokenized stock or even providing LP for it there. So it gives me the easiest way to utilize my tokenized stock to earn profit. As per the picture above, Robinhood is able entering top 10 chains based on TVL in a short time. It also has a real product that is actively using by thousands of people. However, it's still lacking of proper apps who focused on the defi, but it will be growing up higher soon. As for the tx, it's fast and cheap, but it's depending on the traffic on the network same as other L2s. It's all the reason i vote for Robinhood. RWA blockchain will take the trend in the future.

I only use USDT more frequently than any other altcoins and for that reason, I always prefer BNB smart chain because it's very cheap with a fee as low as $0.1 which initially, it was free to use BNB chain for your transactions.
I have been using it when it was free and decided to stick to it. Though, I have used some other chains but I still feel more comfortable using BNB chain for my transactions.

It is better you check the one people generally are using the most than looking for the one people on this forum are using the most. Maybe this site can help you know about that if you are interested: https://www.alchemy.com/rankingsAmong the one that you listed for the poll, I use BNB and Polygon the most. I have only heard about Robinhood, I have not used it for anything before.

It's Robinhood Chain for me, especially whenever I'm on FOMO app. What Robinhood is doing is what TON chain failed to do. Any project that has an already existing presence on a global scale before going into the crypto industry is a good one. Sadly, TON failed to utilize that window of opportunity with its subscriber base on Telegram when it got onto the tap tap stuff because it allowed scammers leech on it. As for Robinhood, we've seen how easily and quickly it's integrating itself into other projects and bridging is smooth and seamless with fees like nothing. Robinhood was already established before coming to cryptos and as such has a lot of capital to play with in promoting itself and doling out incentives to developers on its chain. OP, there's also a new one called Ink Chain. You didn't capture it in the poll.

About the ones that will matter in future, it's just going to be a speculation but not a 100% certainty that the future of all these altcoins project in guaranteeed, however I have more faith in the old projects that have been around for a long time now. Ethereum used to be my favorite before they did one upgrade (I think to proof of stake) around 2022 that spiked there fees which made most people moved to another chain. I have used Plasma, Arbitrum and Aptos because the transaction fee is low and speed is high but overall I mostly use bnb chain because I just like the ecosystem and it was the second chain I started using after ETH chain.

I’m not particularly fond of tehm, as most of these networks are centralized, which carries a higher risk compared to making internal transfers. I don’t recall the last time I used altcoins on-chain, though it was likely on the Ethereum chain following the Fusaka upgrade, simply because transaction fees had become cheap again.

Robinhood and unichain, both havent had native token yet, being active on those two chains might give us good side benefit once they launched their own gas tokens. You forgetting base, its good chain to include on the poll!

But my favorite network is not on your poll lost, neither among the ones you mentioned. Why I can't see Ethereum in your list? How to talk about networks in the blockchain without mentioning Ethereum Virtual Machine. Despite i am not fully satisfied with Ethereum perfermance during the last year, but i still believe in its feasibility as a solid network that can resilient to major updates. I don't see any other project that can compete with Ethereum. Other major good networks are already built in top of Ethereum itself.

I'd choose Ethereum and Solana if these option existed but it didn't. If I were to choose from your list, I'd choose Robinhood because it's going to be tokenized stock hub in the future, it's the pioneer, and BNB chain because this chain is supported by Binance and a lot of projects that were invested by Binance are doing their deployments in BNB which in turn attract TVL and Volume.
Monad is bad, despite the fast transaction because nobody actually using it, HyperEVM was great until some projects inside it decided to either shutdown or rugged people.

Although these features play a role but none of them have high importance when it comes to figuring out which chain has the "most potential". Because at the end of the day people don't care about any of these things! What people care about when it comes to altcoins and tokens (as well as token creation platforms) is how much profit they can make. If it gets hyped up, has a good pumping team that can pump it, gets hyped up shittokens created on it, etc. then people would pick it even if it were insecure, slow, centralized with a mutable blockchain and high fees! That's simply because people don't care about any of these things. They only care about profit!

What kind of potential are we talking here? airdrop potential? governance token pump? or there is something else? a blockchain that you mentioned don't have governance token therefore doesn't matter how many transaction it processed, how many volume it have, doesn't really matter. The protocol revenues aren't going to us but instead to the validators. If what you're seeking is ROI, Robinhood is out of the question, but HyperEVM has potential with its token $HYPE. Every perp related project that have created noises are all coming from hyperliquid these days, the other simply fall short.
