There are so many chains fighting for users and liquidity right now. Some are pretty new, like Unichain, Monad, HyperEVM, Arc and Robinhood Chain, while Polygon, Avalanche and BNB Chain have been around for a while.
Which one do you actually use the most? And what makes you pick a chain: low fees, speed, liquidity, security, or just the ecosystem and apps on it?
Also curious which of the newer ones you think will still matter a year from now.

I'd go with Robinhood Chain. It's fast, dirt-cheap, and it's quickly becoming a major hub for "memes". It might eat "Solana's cake" eventually. BNB Chain is a bigger fish, but it relies on its own blockchain network for security. Robinhood's offering is an ETH L2 network, meaning it's completely secured by the main ETH blockchain. While the chain uses ETH as a native token, it might come up with its own token in the future. I mean, this is what exchanges usually do when they have their own Blockchain. Just to pay revenue from trading fees to holders, etc. All to attract investors into their project. An airdrop might follow suit if Robinhood decides to take this path.
Personally, I pick chains with speed, low fees, and liquidity. They're great for quick transfers and day trading. For the largest ecosystem and apps, ETH is the clear winner. In terms of chains with smart contract features, of course. The competition is getting fierce. I wonder why chains will last and which ones will fade away into oblivion?
