I found a video on X of a guy playing online blackjack. He calmly records his hand and watches the dealer's AI. It seemed like what could possibly go wrong?
I would have guessed the dealer's interface might be a bit off - maybe some weird emotion or something. But the bug was truly fatal, affecting the outcome of the hand:

Four aces of hearts!

Perhaps all casinos that use such technologies need to more thoroughly check the neural networks they rely on? Especially if it's not an image bug, but a modified game result.

Source: https://x.com/GambaUpdateonx/status/2111926222477570322

If anyone has found similar news or videos, please feel free to share them, as this video made me laugh out loud.

I have thoroughly looked at the video and I don't think it's Al and this is properly another means to scam players who would want to engage in it, if it was real I don't think it will crash all of a sudden. Casinos are built in other to gain more than the players so we should be very careful on every game we see and want to jump to and start playing just because we want to make money out of it.

From the video one could just detect that it has a very high level of cheating which are not traceable and noticed, he places his hands on the deck and removes the cards and this affects the outcome of the game so there has been lots of manipulation in it already which signify something fishy in the process of the game. Due to all this online manipulations I rather go to the blackjack and play than spend my money online and loose.

I have the feeling that this might be a skit or something. Maybe the dealer was a real person, but someone had edited the live stream with the help of AI to make it seem that the dealer is AI and the AI is having some sort of glitch or crash(four aces of hearts). This is being done for comedic purposes and to farm views and clicks on social media.
You didn't mention the name of the casino. I'm too lazy to check out more about the case. Grin Maybe the guy, who posted this on X is right and the dealer is actual AI and it crashed for real. The gambler must contact the casino's customer support and use that particular video as a proof. His bets must be voided by the casino. Grin

Well it's clearly garbage creates by the streamer just to get views. It's a real possibility that there are some casinos out there who are doing this but it's much more like they've faked these screenshots to create controversy which generates money for them. The key thing here is the complete lack of casino branding in the photos. They managed to fake all of this using advanced AI but never once thought to project the casino brand on to the table as part of their advertising strategy? It's also one step a streamer would avoid doing if they were faking screenshots because it opens them up to being sued by the brand. There are companies out there who sells their streams to live dealers like this, so there really is no need to fake it so this is highly suspect.

Looking at the picture, the dealer here doesn't seem like AI. AI is now so powerful that it can exactly copy a person's face, but it can't give an exact expression like a human even with some leggings. AI can use some hacking tricks while shuffling cards, which will defeat players in maximum time. For example, looking at the screenshots in your post, it seems like complete hacking how it hit 21 with so many cards. I am never interested in playing any kind of live table game against AI dealer. It is very scary to play against real human, it is not possible to play confidently against AI.

There is no way to clearly verify that this is AI neither can we outrightly say this is a bug. Maybe he is thinking that getting 4 ace of Hearts might mean something was wrong but that is possible even though it is very rare. Casinos use a shoe of 6 to 8 decks shuffled together so 4 aces of Heats is possible.

From the video alone, if its really legit, then yes. But if you are the one playing there, there's easy way. I remember before when I want to check if the platform is legit and really live, I ask the dealer for a shout out or some random question in the chat, then see if they react real time. The guy in the video can just do that.`
There are lot of ways to identify if dealers are using A.I., they are popular now, that's why we should be careful.

The bigger concern here is actually whether the players can independently verify whether or not the game is fair, because a dealer looking like human doesn’t in any way prove that the game is actually fair or genuine, just like an AI doesn’t prove that the game is rigged either. If it was me, before I even risk my money, I’d first require a very clear and transparent evidence of how the cards are dealt, as well as how the results are verified, because when real money is involved, trust isn’t just enough.

Sometimes we have to be extremely careful and not jump into conclusion without proper verification. The picture doesn't seem to be normal, it seems to be manipulative because its a bit weird. I just hope that it doesn't affect the balance of the player. Even if the dealer is a human or not, there is a great lesson to learn from this particular post, because what happen to the player can happen to anyone, especially those who are not careful on they place their trust in a strange. It is not always about trust, it is about your safety and also the safety of your funds. Some games might seem to be probably fair at the beginning and end up being your worst nightmare. Some dealers are scammers.

Yes, this is one way of doing it to know if it's real or not. But I think that if it's an AI and there's an operator behind, they can probably also prompt the AI model to talk and say some shoutout.

I'm not sure about that though but I think it's possible.

It's about the capacity of the AI agent and the tool that they're using and of course, it comes with a credits so basically as long as it's with pay, almost everything is possible with AI now.

But based on the example of OP, that's a real one and are they trying to cheat on it?

There is no way this is a AI dealer and not a real person.

Did you notice the creaes in his shirt especially when moving his hands ? if it was AI definitely there would be some glitches or blurriness

However if it is indeed proven to be AI, i would feel really stupid. I just dont think its would be worth it for the casinos to make this AI when they can hire real people at minimum wage, should be cheaper then making this too real AI dealer

What if that's no longer the case with AI? Do you have access to the most advanced AI? So just because the videos you are used to always shows a sign of glitches when watching doesn't mean there are no better ones yet.

The difference is only small numbers of people or organisations will have access to the best of the best, most people might not even be able to afford such AI.

You are correct about the money spent on such AI if it's really an AI,  because that's going to cost them alot of money, something that a human can handle and get paid less amount of money.

I believe that casinos with high cash flow know just about everything there is to know about the game, the technology, player psychology, and other practical aspects including the finer details they can leverage to run a successful business. Most players just play without giving much thought to these things; however, when I see posts like the one about the "four-of-a-kind" (four hearts or four aces), it makes me laugh the casino has truly embarrassed itself. People don’t walk in there every day after working hard at their regular jobs only to see their money lost in such a fashion.
