No protest that doesn't have life casualties, loss of property, or being hijacked by bad players.

If it is about protest that happened in France, there is no way it will be peaceful protest without it being hijacked by hoodlums whom has the intention to loot public funds, burning and the original message of the protest being lost.

However, protest is a tool the masses use to make the government listen. It forces leaders to negotiate and come to terms with the demands of the citizens. This will happen when the protest has clear demands. The  government will therefore implement and grant the demands of the people

How long will people stay quiet when things are getting wrong without speaking out, remedy the Gen Z protest in Nepal, how the youth take it to the street the hard way and off their government could not afford to withstand the force from the people, for how long are we going to keep silence when an average citizen cannot afford a meal per day, send their children to school for free, and benefits from the government alleviation programs to support the citizens after collecting tax and other revenues from them, isn't it better they utilize the money for the entire citizens to enjoy rather than the massive destructions and lootings that follow after the peaceful protest that was hijacked by hoodlums.
It is difficult to witness any peaceful protest that ends in peace. Protesting is a good way to show the government how unsatisfied we are with the situation of the country, it should be done peacefully without causing harm to innocent people who are also going through the same hardship, whatever is damaged is not replaced by the government, why put somebody else in pain?

Staying quiet is not a solution, citizens should speak and also take necessary actions. Hearts of politicians are made of stone, if only protest can be done peacefully without damaging the city, at some point the government will be persuaded to take necessary measures.

I don't think the sort of protest going on in France is completely fair, it's good to stand up, speak up and hold the government accountable but it is wrong for a protest to go from peace to violence and not just that but extreme violence where things are getting destroyed, fellow masses stores getting looted, foreign and local stores vandalized and looted which can reduce foreign investment and local businesses growth
What's happening with protest these days is gradually becoming and illness.
I totally agree with your line of thought, but the caveat to this kind of situation is the fact that, you cannot always rule out a possible riot or destructive element when it comes to such kind of massive protest, hence the people come out en masse, you will always see unscrupulous element that go around to vandalize people's stores, malls and all the rest in the guise of protest 🪧.

Just imagine the level of carnage and restructure that took place in France in few weeks, properties that worth billions are destroyed in a twinkle of an eye, so whenever the government sometimes try to ask the citizens to remain calm and not protest, it is not always about them playing smart, but because they understand that people will always want to use these avenue to do unscrupulous things.

I won't be convinced if the media hasn't taken a great influence in you.
I understand you truly mean fair according to your views but I expected that you'd also think of the possibilities of the protest being hijacked.
Are you learning newly that the leaders at the top political levels can also manipulate such a well structured events like that too just to disrupt the publications of how they're also breaking the principles of the democracy and never judged against guilts.
Also be careful with the media because, they could turn informations around just to criticize the obligations and lack of conduct act's of the protesters for condemnation.
The government could even use the military or security agencies to confront the public on the protest moves.

It happens everywhere that people will started a protest peacefully and before you know it, everything goes viral and got hijacked by miscreants, and this is where there is a lot that comes in place as many will try to take advantage of this opportunity for stealing and destroying of government properties/other individuals as it as their major targets, but the government have been feeling in many ways because they don't have to see the people agitating into protest before they do something that is needed to be done, they are right is to serve the citizens and not to starve them, I really see a protest that doesn't end up in violence because people will definitely express their concern and until this is the change needed before they put an end to it.
There are a lot of protests going on around the world and not every protest that turns into violence means that the people who originally started the protest have some sort of bad intent or motive behind it. There are certain individuals who always try to take advantage of any situation; they destroy property and loot. This assumption cannot be applied to everyone who tries to participate in any protest. Whenever the government fails to address any problem, everyone has the right to express their emotions to show the government that they are not happy with their decisions.

The main thing is that, while it is always the people, they have to protest against their leader again and again before the leaders take any sort of serious concern. Government started listening to their citizens then these type of protest can be prevented and can be prevented from escalating. If anyone wants a change, then peaceful protests are a legitimate way.

The protest in France should not be used as a reference or case study for other countries to follow because the protest was not a peaceful protest but a violent protest that the innocent citizens were also victims of. The difficulty in the country is suffered by everyone in the country. Protesting by looting from neighbors and roadside businesses is what France has been doing. It doesn't make any sense to me. Other countries should not follow this pattern of protest because it won't help the country.

The painful part of this is that the shops that were looted was not owned or established by any politician or government officials, they are owned by ordinary citizens who are just trying to survive legitimately. People who are angry and protesting about high cost of living are still the ones who needs the services of those shop and businesses that were looted, so burning or destroying it does not hurt the government in any way, it instead hurts the entire community that is already facing different struggles.
Most things citizens do may seem right in their eyes and may be the best solution to their proposed problems but on the long run there is always an after effect of those actions. How does destroying properties affect the government in any way? And how does that make them listen to their pleas?

The pleas for shortage with staffs, people struggling with living cost and an increased wage are valid but destroying shops and other buildings is definitely the wrong way to go about it because it would only make situations worst.

You have made a good point, citizens have every right to express their frustration and demands better living conditions, affordable necessities but the approach matters just as much as the demand themselves. Destroying shops and public or private properties often hurts ordinary people more than the government especially when those businesses are owned by struggling people who are trying to survive and make a daily income.

The government shouldn’t wait until the people are pushed to their limits before they take their complains serious. You can’t keep making life difficult for the people and expect them to stay silent without voicing out their minds. People have every right to protest when the governments keep failing them but though the protest should always remain peaceful.
The government needs to listen and tend to the problems that are making people protest in the first plqce. It is only a country that allows the people to speak out and take their concerns serious that will have a better chance of having peace that the one that only expects silence from the people.

Honestly what those youths are doing in France is despicable, protest without solutions is just stupidity, I understand the fight for freedom but don't go around looting and vandalizing your fellow citizens store, that's wrong, you can't around doing wrong than expect a right result, it's too extreme. Let's not forget that Serbian Youths have been protesting for 2 years but once they found a solution [the student list] their goals became more realistic

Do people have actual problems, or do they have genuine concerns? But trying to destroy public property, attacking innocent people and disrupting essential services is not going to solve the problem; in fact, that is going against the protest. It is quite clear that government should listen to the citizens but protesters should also have the responsibility to act peacefully. There are individuals who try to exploit public frustration for their own personal and political interests. For real change, both responsible citizens and accountable leadership are required. Government should take the lead and address the concerns of the people but citizens should also use elections and peaceful action to demand any sort of change without creating any damage

For real it us the citizens hands are meeting, it is really sad that innocent citizens end up paying the price for problem they didn’t create or know nothing about most of this business owner are ordinary people struggling to make end meet, provide for families and contribute to society. When their shop are looted or destroyed they loose their source of income and some may never recover from their loose, so the painful part is that same people protesting against the high cost of living eventually suffer the consequences.
Those that are protesting and going to another people's business to steal from it are very heartless and they are worst than the government, how can you be protesting for the hardship in the country and you are then stealing from another person, so what are you then protesting for.
I know it is not everyone that is protesting that is stealing from others, but for the fact that some set of people have decided to use it as an opportunity to steal from other people they have destroyed the reason for the whole protest.

The government should look for a way after this protest to compensate those that there business was affected in this protest, that is the right thing for them to do.
