With the way things dey go for the country I  think Tinubu should resign, coupled with poverty, hardship ,high cost of living , insecurity ,no job opportunity and he is not saying or  doing anything about it ,u see people graduate with certificates no better position ,added with corruption, kidnapping. No positive gain from his rulership and the the rate of poverty increases, country wey hope no dey for the leaders of tomorrow ,and this are increasing the rate of insecurity in the co

U see children being deprived of formal education due  to their parents not been able to meet up with necessities of education, the very annoying part is they see these things and act as if it doesn't really matter, Nigeria has became a country were the poor are to hide and die cuz of there incompetency and misuse of resources needed to help the poor and needy.

What way Nigeria, what is the way forward? Should  Tinubu  Resign or continue as President?  What is your take on this. Your opinion is needed.

This question is very funny. Someone that will soon begin next presidential race campaign. You are asking if he should resign or not resign.

If you do not like what he is doing, make sure you make your vote count will be a very good solution, provided if most of you are not just the social media type and not vote.

It is the IMF that was giving him bad advises and World Bank reporting increasing poverty in our country.

Tinubu didn't create poverty, he only made it worse than he met when he took power from former president muhammadu buhari.
If he had not removed subsidy, increase taxes or fuel insecurity, may be nobody will be calling for his resignation.

Tinubu regime is the worst after buhari regime. As I speak, the president hasn't visited the North to commiserate with them over the continuous killings by bandits and boko haram. The north will not vote him because of how he is handling insecurity matters. They have been tearing down his re election campaign banners. This time, everyone is against him despite that he is a muslim. If we don't fight to stop his re election, we may not have a Nigeria before 2031.

Of a truth he inherited poverty from the past administration but he has no structure established to fight it. Instead of finding solution his administration increased it to make Nigeria one of the worst country in Africa.
The situation of Nigeria now is what know one  can explain because from his time in power Nigeria experienced failure drastically in all sector and till now their is no structural design or established for its settlement instead  his administration is pushing for more loans which are not used for anything in the country.
Its obvious he can never resign or even be  impeached because corruption has eaten up all the system meant to push for such to take place in Nigeria.

OP it is needless for Tinubu to resign now because his attention is on how to win the 2027 election. The question you should have asked is if Tinubu should be voted out comes 2027 elections and then you give those points you gave as the reason why you think he shouldn't be re-elected. However, poverty alone is not even supposed to cause a resignation because from when I was born till today, the larger number of Nigerians has always been in poverty so this is not something that started under Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This question is very funny. Someone that will soon begin next presidential race campaign. You are asking if he should resign or not resign.
Very funny question. Tinubu didn't resign since 3 years ago when he assumed office and nothing positive has happened within those years, it's just about a couple of months to the 2027 elections and someone is asking if he should resign because of rising poverty. Is it even today that the poor Nigerians has been subjected to abject poverty.

A better question will be to ask if Tinibu should be impeached, because his greedy mindset will not allow him resign. Their are two ways, either impeach him or vote him out in 2027. Of course, you would agree with me that impeaching him is also impossible since the legislative arm of government are his ass lickers, but as for voting him out in 2027, it is possible and it depends solely on me and you. First let's dust our voters card and make our vote count. Another thing is, even most people lamenting today will end up taking bribe from this same wicked man and vote him in, forgetting all the struggles and high cost of living they have endured in the last four years.

For Tinibu to be kicked out, we all need to stand in unity against him, else we might just be deceiving ourselves.

For dis our country u don hear where dem talk say president resign before? E no possible now, all of them Dey wan do d 8 years even if things bad. If person wan even resign self, na person wey Dey desperate for power like tinubu na him go sign from office, you should know that it’s not going to be possible.

Everything don worst under dis tinubu regime, and d funniest part be say d man just lock up like say nothing Dey even happen, him just Dey act like say everything Dey fine. High cost of living, lack of employment, insecurity, bad roads and other things Dey happen for d country, but na campaign d man Dey do, na how him go take win the coming election Dey d man head. Make we just vote d man out in d coming election, but make we no expect say him go resign.

Will any leader ever choose to resign willingly without been forced to? I don’t think so. Tinubu is so much interested to remain in power and would not give it for any other reasons. I am so disappointed at this regime and the way people are still overly campaigning for Tinubu is just baffling as if they are so comfortable with this government. All these people who are doing this campaign for this man are just annoying to me because they cannot justify why they want Tinubu back, I bet they also don’t know but are bunch of bandwagons. Sometimes i feel like not voting for the next president because none of them are worth it to me, however being a patriotic citizen I may still end up making a decision when the time comes.

Who is going to make him resign?, you even sound as if Nigeria is the kind of country the president will stay and decide to resign if things are not working the way he want, are you not watching the news to see how he is having campaigns every state in the country?, how would you expect such person to resign from his position or have you seen any Nigerian President that was forced to resign from the position by the Nigerians, actually it doesn't work that way in Nigeria because those people didn't take those office with the aim or goal to restore stability in the country but on contrary is actually about themselves they took the office so is impossible to make him resign even if it leads to war.

To be honest I find it difficult to say whether Tinubu should resign or continue at this point because either way, we still need a real solution. Removing a president and bringing another one that we think will be better doesn’t guarantee that things will become better. Nigeria as now become a laughing stock like Manchester United where at the end we start to miss the previous government. We need to be very careful of what we want and do. Sometimes the devil that you know is better than the angel you just met.

This has happened before but Nigerians are not paying attention to it. A good one was the time Jonathan won Buhari in vote, everyone thought the person that will save Nigeria from poverty has come, they even though there will be no more boko haram. But you all saw what happened. But this time of Tinubu is very well, he does not care about people because if he carries, there should not be rising poverty and there was supposed not to be high inflation in the country. It is only God that can just help us in this country from our bad leaders.

Nigerians just need to be realistic if you are to be the president and you are commanding the kind of money and influence that Tinubu is commanding would you resign? obviously you won’t, if he even resigns both his party & family will call him a coward.

What Nigerians should be doing right now is ensuring that every citizen’s have their voters card and also form units within different communities whereby people can be taught the reason why they should come out and vote and who to vote for because obviously most people have been brainwashed into believing that their votes don’t count and that is what politicians capitalize on to rig elections, voters must also ensure they wait for all the votes to be compiled at the polling units before they leave.

Obviously Tinubu has failed both in economy, security, education etc, Nigerians have never had it this bad, his administration is so bad that he defeated the previous Buhari poor administration but Nigerians should be more realistic Tinubu ain’t ready to leave anytime soon, if he has his way he would do a 3rd tenure, that is why Nigerians must rise up and vote him out rather than feeling that Tinubu should resign because that is not going to happen.

You must be a Nigerian, so you should know better that Tinubu's resignation would be the last resort of the current government. As a matter of fact, the 2027 election should have being concluded behind closed doors and we all know that Tinubu is not losing that election. Nigeria is not getting any better with the change of government, that has being established already and might never change.

Poverty, lack of opportunities and health care facilities have being some major issues Nigerian have faced and there are no solutions whatsoever to resolve thispermanently. The debt in June 2026 records around $166 trillion borrowed, and that raises the question "where is all the money going?"

I personally think it would have been a right step if he would resign because that is what he told ex President Goodluck Ebelle Jonathan that if he can't rule Nigeria he should resign, though he doesn't cause hardship because we have been facing hardship in every government that rules but he actually made things very difficult and people are suffering due to the bad policy making and the removal of fuel subsidy that he did in his first year in office, that is what has crippled the whole economy of Nigeria and the less privileges can barely survive.

At this point he can't resign and he is seeking for a second tenure and if allowed to win he will remove electricity bill which he has proposed and that of cooking gas and things will further be difficult so the solution now is to come out in our mass and vote him out and make sure our votes counts, that's how we can unite and remove him because he won't resign and will surely rig the elections too. So we need to vote him out.
