The primary reason why people still use VPN is to bypass online casino restriction, firstly restricted location while nowadays I get to see games restricted in some location too. If the casino allows the use of VPN then it’s understandable, while a casino stating no use of VPN definitely if a player uses VPN the casino will find out, the outcome always result to lock account and if the player already stored funds in the casino obviously the gambler will never be able to recover the funds back. Just curious how do some gamblers deposit and withdraw funds using VPN to bypass casino restriction rule? Probably this is another reason why they get caught meanwhile op reason is valid too but, major casinos don’t support VPN.
I use VPN most of the time in all casinos where I used to play but I do not use it to bypass the restriction applied by the casino. It is simply because my ISP wont let me access any gambling related website due to local law which is against gambling. One thing that I usually do is that I do not change my original country to when I use the VPN as the main purpose is only to bypass the ISP blocks. It is also not completely true that major casinos do not support VPN, I played in Stake, Shuffle, Rollbit, Bitcasino, Fortunejak using VPN and there is no problem at all. Of course I do not recommend others to do the same, just sharing my experience.

Another topic about why reading Terms of services is very important, alas many people will still look away like they don't care until they fall victim to it and they will cry about it.
If any gamblers are going to do something with their gambling activities they need to be in lookout if the casino will permit them.ti take such route, it's not that hard, just check the ToS or ask a customer representative for answers.
I don't like using VPN because they aren't reliable, I've used many of them in the past and somehow leaking still takes place, there is no perfect VPN connection and also what happens when you are asked to pass KYC verification base on that VPN location? Dang!

What most of us don’t know this that cheap or free VPNs do use shared IPs. You see thousands of people on same IP, if a user before you was cheating or was bonus abusing from same IP that IP was already dirty before u joined. You will just see that you login from it and you see that the casinos security bot will just automatically flags you too.
IP jumping it another big problem Your VPN dropping and reconnecting from Singapore to Germany in a space of 10 seconds. No one on this planet earth can travel that fast. So you see that to the ant fraud system this looks exactly like an account hijacking. So this triggers locks or even a KYC on the account.
Yeah, I absolutly agree. Using VPN can easily lead to withdrawal problem at online casino, especially with free service where lots of people share same IP address. But I think there's a more important point here. I think many casino explicitly prohibit bypassing regional restriction and in that case, it doesn't really matter whether you're using paid or free service or whether you have a static or dynamic IP address. So I wouldn't always blame these kind of restriction on something the player has done. But that certainly doesn't guarantee there won't be additional check or problem when withdrawing large winning. That's why I think it's much more important to check casino's rules and regional restriction in advance than to simply choose between free and paid connection.

It is either you are using a small RAM device or you are not using a good VPN. You can set your device on VPN only mode in a way that your device will not go online without connecting to a VPN. I have used several VPN, they were disconnecting on my small phone, but since I started using 8 gigabyte RAM phone, it is not disconnecting. Also the one on my laptop is not disconnecting.

If you have used VPN before and somehow your details still got leaked, then maybe you should check the kind of VPN service you used; it could also be one of those cheap or free VPNs OP is talking about. Those ones do not guarantee you protection if you are not careful. It could also be that your VPN was temporarily disconnected and you didn't notice on time. Some gambling sites are very strict with their VPN rules. If you have ever done KYC with the casino, they might still be able to detect an unusual activity when they notice changes in your location. Well, as you already said, it is very necessary for gamblers to know the casino's terms concerning the use of VPN so they will save themselves from some troubles as they use the site.

Free VPNs, what are you talking about, OP? Who in their right mind would think to use them for a casino? I don't think anyone didn't know about this before creating this theme. This is natural: even if the casino does not prohibit the use of VPNs, there will definitely be a question about multi-accounts if a person plays using a free VPN. It's a shame, you know what? That such a VPN can be used for quite a long time, even receiving payments several times, but the day will come when someone else will also register an account at this casino. Then both of them will get into trouble.
A VPN can sometimes completely encrypt your identity, but just changing your IP address is not enough. It is necessary to take a more careful approach to your anonymity, additionally checking all trackers that are displayed on sites like 2ip.io or similar ones. Sometimes it's enough to leak your system language the system's language so that the casino can suspect something is amiss. Therefore, for those who do not know how to remain anonymous correctly, it is better not to try to do this at all, especially using everything that is free.

It could also be that your VPN was temporarily disconnected and you didn't notice on time.
What could cause the disconnection? A good VPN will not disconnect. A good VPN will also have auto connect in a way that if you on your device, the VPN will connect automatically. If it is manual connection, it should not disconnect after you have connected even if there is lost network on your device. Immediately your device is back online, the VPN continue and it is very fast.

Some gambling sites are very strict with their VPN rules. If you have ever done KYC with the casino, they might still be able to detect an unusual activity when they notice changes in your location.
The problem here isn't so much about how reliable the VPN service itself is, but whether the casino allows you to use it in the first place. Even the most expensive and reliable VPN won't protect a player from getting their account blocked if they're breaking the casino's terms and conditions. Although even that doesn't give you a 100% guarantee. The worst part is that problems often don't come up while you're playing or making deposits, but when you actually try to withdraw your winnings. And there's another important point here. Even if customer support has allowed you to use a VPN, that doesn't necessarily mean you're allowed to bypass geographic restrictions.

Another factors associated with the use of a VPN include that the cause of the issue is not always due to a shared IP. There are restrictions that many casino sites impose on regions from which people should access their site, which means that using a paid for VPN service will still result in getting your account blocked, It is therefore necessary to check out their VPN and withdrawal policies before start playing that site. Getting KYC done even after the money gets blocked will not always help.

However, it is important to take note of the rule and regulation of the casino before connecting costly virtual private network. The quality of encryption fromoutside source is completely irrelevant when site administrators have already stated that they do not allow address masking. Going against their term and condition mean certain account closure. Take care not to fall prey to the trap of concealing money, which can only be discovered once player attempts to withdraw. Deposit are always made successfully to lure players into giving the site their money, and it is guaranteed that withdrawal is always delayed by the security of the site.

My advise anyway We shouldn’t use free VPNs for gambling. If in any case you have to use a third party one, just pick a paid server and stick to it. Avoid auto switch, and if should incase that the casino has a built in option, that a better option to use.
Has any of us here ever gotten their casino account flagged because of VPN disconnects at the mid game ?
There are usually two types of people that falls this victim, first type are those players that gamble from country where gambling is illegal or restricted country by the casino and the second type are those gamblers that have multiple accounts and then use VPN to prevent being discovered by the casino probably because they have cheated in bonus. The advice is for players to respect the decision of a casino that restrict their country from gambling on their site and also avoid using multiple account if the casino is against it. I know that some casino permits the use of VPN, so anyone interested in using VPN can use those casino that allows it. I think there is a third one, those who use VPN for normal reason. Before in our office some websites are blocked, so I use VPN just to open one of my exchanges that actively using there, and my country is not even restricted. After some days I got email that my account will be closed because they found I am from United States, and I need to withdraw my funds immediately. Not a casino, but same thing I believe since it might be a crypto based casino platform.

I have used VPN only several times to access several casino sections when I was given a freebet and for some reason sports betting section was restricted for my IP. There are plenty of other casinos will great reputation that allow me to use every service they offer without using VPN. If I find myself next time in situation when something is restricted for my IP, I would not risk money and account being frozen, and just leave. I am sure I will find a reputed casino that wont restrict me from anything.
One thing that I would not use for sure to access casino - VPN browser extensions. They require no registration and for me they look like a unsecure junkyard that everyone use for everything. Dont want my casino account get dirty with such VPN historical trace.
