- Bitcoin miners, artificial intelligence companies, and others are demanding more and more electricity every day. Electricity prices are rising and will continue to rise.

- We are in the midst of persistent cost inflation.

We see raising interest rates as a solution to prevent this situation from leading to persistent inflation, but since raising rates merely delays the onset of persistent inflation without actually solving the underlying problems, it is of no use...

At present all indicators are saying that bad (economic) things will continue to happen. Trump started a war with Iran which he cannot win and refuses to back out, Putin seems insistent on attacking democratic Ukraine. The Iran war has spilled over an energy rich region which supplied 20% of the worlds oil. Ukraine was a massive food producer (among many other things). Both of these have caused the biggest price rises after Covid started to settle down. Both of these leaders are batshit crazy and will do anything to hang on to power, creating distractions while the average person gets poorer and they enrich themselves ever more. The US midterms might reverse the power that Trump abuses, but American's have made a lot of stupid mistakes that culminated in him getting power for a second time. That might calm markets and bring prices back down if he's neutered from doing any more harm. If we have another couple years of Trump he'll continue to consolidate his dictatorship and prices will continue to rise. Why do you think they are destined to fall?

Not only about the electricity rates but also the computer parts. The chips, the ram, the GPUs, CPUs, all of them are becoming more expensive due to the demand that the AI companies ordering in bulk. Even before going to the public market, they've already pre-ordered.

They will become more expensive by tomorrow. We use here the image about the cost of the groceries in the past and how it is going right now. But holding bitcoin is better as it's also going along with inflation as its price goes higher too. Although I am not happy that everything is become more expensive.

I don't know how the system in other countries work but in my country, whatever goes up especially with relation to price, barely comes down except there isn't any other choice for it but to be reduce else once the price of a commodity goes up, it stays up or goes higher rather than coming down.

I don't think with what is going on, we might be seeing a price reduction in the cost of commodities but if we ever do now, remember I'm speaking just for my country because I can't say for other countries, then I will have to say, it's all because if the forthcoming elections and the price reduction is one of their political propagandas and it will be absolutely temporary.

Electric tariffs are already going very high and I think people are already switching over to other reliable sources of energy which the top now is solar, so I think with time, we wouldn't have to cry so much about electricity.

if we get to new era Things can only be cheaper because many things that depends on traditional source of energy will be independently functioning using renewable source of energy and it will cut cost by atleast some percentage unlike when almost everything rely on traditional system. Now if vehicle that uses petrol cost $300k and  a new Sola rechargeable vehicle cost $150k, people will go for the one of $150k because it will be economical and reduce pollution and save cost of constant fueling this will automatically bring down the price of petrol vehicle down since the market is competitive the other vehicle company will have no other choice than to reduce the petrol vehicle and thereby making it cheaper than before. With this point I agree that things that are expensive today will become cheaper tomorrow because of development, upgrade, science and technology.

Production costs are changing so rapidly because they're affected by so many factors, and also because production materials for some resources are scarce/limited. It is normal and expected to expect that the prices of items or products in the market will continue to go up as raw materials for their production reduce, and their value increases.

Popular around me there is a saying that we usually remind ourselves, "Buy at the price today or come back tomorrow frowning and still buy at an expensive price".
