SOLOMINERS TEAM BTC — RUN #2

THURSDAY, 29 OCTOBER 2026 — 8-HOUR BITCOIN BLOCK HUNT

ONE TEAM. ONE TARGET. ONE BLOCK.

Hello BitcoinTalk community!

We are organizing our second SoloMiners Team BTC Run and inviting Bitcoin miners to join us for another 8-hour Bitcoin block hunt.

Our first run on 15 October completed its scheduled 8-hour session. Unfortunately, no block was found, but we're back for another attempt!

Whether you have your own ASIC miners or prefer renting hashpower, everyone is welcome.

RUN #2 — EVENT SCHEDULE

Date: Thursday, 29 October 2026
Start: 5:30 PM GMT+3 (14:30 UTC)
Finish: Friday, 30 October — 1:30 AM GMT+3 (22:30 UTC on 29 October)
Duration: 8 hours
Network: Bitcoin (BTC)
Mining Mode: Team-based block hunting

WHAT ARE WE HUNTING?

We are combining our hashpower on the SoloMiners BTC Prop-Pool, aiming to find a qualifying Bitcoin block and earn its 2 BTC finder reward.

If our team finds the qualifying block, the finder reward will be shared among participating team members according to their accepted-work contribution, subject to the pool's payout rules.

Example:

If you contribute 10% of the team's accepted work, your estimated allocation from the 2 BTC finder reward is 0.20 BTC, only if our team finds the qualifying block.

Your contribution is calculated using accepted work, not simply the number of shares submitted.

Dashboard reward figures are estimates, not paid balances.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE — BRING OR RENT HASHPOWER

You can join the run using compatible SHA-256 mining sources:

  • NiceHash — Rent SHA-256 hashpower and point it to our team proxy.
  • Braiins — Use a compatible mining setup or service.
  • MiningRigRentals (MRR) — Rent SHA-256 mining rigs.
  • KissMyHash — Purchase hashpower through the SoloMiners rental dashboard and select Team BTC.
  • Your own ASIC miners — Connect your equipment directly.
  • Stratum V2 (SV2) — Supported through compatible setups.

Important for rental participants:

We recommend purchasing or activating your rental hashpower only after the event starts, so your contribution falls within the scheduled 8-hour run.

You can use whichever compatible rental provider you prefer.

PREVIOUS EVENT — RUN #1 RESULTS

Our first Team BTC run took place on 15 October 2026 and completed its scheduled 8-hour mining session.

Run #1 summary:

  • Date: 15 October 2026
  • Duration: 8 hours
  • Mining Mode: Team BTC
  • Result: No Bitcoin block found

Although we did not find a block, we completed our first coordinated mining attempt.

Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed hashpower!

SoloMiners Team BTC Run #1 — 15 October 2026

We are now preparing for Run #2 and hope to welcome even more miners!

COMMUNITY FEEDBACK — FINDER REWARD

We would also like feedback from BitcoinTalk miners regarding the Team BTC finder reward.

Would a 0.3 BTC finder reward, distributed proportionally according to each participant's accepted work, be attractive for future Team BTC runs?

For example, if you contribute 10% of the team's accepted work, your estimated share would be 0.03 BTC if the qualifying block is found.

This is a proposal for discussion, not a change to the advertised Run #2 reward.

We welcome suggestions on the reward amount, distribution model, and ways to improve participation in future runs.

Please share your thoughts!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Bitcoin mining is probabilistic, and finding a block during an 8-hour session is never guaranteed.

If no qualifying block is found, there is no finder reward to distribute.

Hardware, electricity, and rental costs remain each participant's responsibility.

All reward allocations are subject to the SoloMiners BTC Prop-Pool rules. Please review the payout rules and Team Mining Guide before connecting.

EVERY TERAHASH COUNTS!

Whether you bring your own ASIC miner or rent hashpower through NiceHash, Braiins, MRR, or KissMyHash, you are welcome to participate.
