**Introducing NFP XTM-MINER — our upcoming Android mobile mining application for Tari (XTM)!**
For some time, the idea of bringing Tari mining to mobile devices has generated interest across the cryptocurrency community. While developers have discussed the possibilities, a widely established, publicly verified Tari Android mining application has yet to emerge.
**So here at Night Fantom Projects (NFProjects), we decided to take the leap ourselves.**
And after a challenging development journey, multiple approaches, plenty of troubleshooting, and some exciting breakthroughs, we're proud to announce that we've successfully built and begun testing our very own Android XTM mining application!
From an Ambitious Idea to a Working Android Application
When we first started this project, our goal was simple: make Tari mining more accessible by bringing it to Android devices.
Actually achieving that goal? Not quite so simple!
Our original approach, we were building something new, something that so far hadnt been done, at least not the way we envisioned it. It required a lot of our time and effort to build a working prototype. We were basically developing a mobile miner from scratch, beginning with building a functional terminal-based mining engine and eventually integrating it into a complete easy-to-use Android Mining APK.
We spent weeks building and testing the base model terminal miner. Progress was being made, but building the entire infrastructure from the ground up presented significant technical challenges.
Then came a turning point. One of our Developer's stumbled onto a New Project repo on Github that had finished developement and just released.
The project was The CryptoSteer XMR Miner; an existing open-source Android mining application developed by The Crypto Steer LLC.
After researching the project and testing the build, we decided that Rather than reinventing the wheel, we recognized an opportunity to build upon a strong existing foundation.
Through an independent fork of CryptoSteer's work, we redirected development toward adapting the application for Tari (XTM), preserving the strengths of the original architecture while working toward our own mining implementation, configuration, and visual identity.
The result?
**NFP XTM-MINER — a working Android development build that has already shown promising initial performance.**
Our First Testing Results Are In!
On October 22, 2026, we began preliminary testing of NFP XTM-MINER alongside the original CryptoSteer XMR Miner.
Using comparable configurations, we observed:
- Successful application startup and initial mining-engine operation.
- Reported hashrates broadly comparable to the original CryptoSteer application.
- Similar operating behavior under equivalent performance settings.
- A functioning Android interface with mining statistics, performance controls, and device-monitoring tools.
These early results represent a significant milestone for our development efforts.
**But we're not declaring victory just yet.**
We're continuing to verify Tari pool compatibility, accepted mining shares, developer-fee removal, long-term stability, and the underlying source code before distributing a public APK.
We are nearly there but believe a successful release should be backed by real testing, not just exciting screenshots or promises.
(We do have exciting screenshots to share though, lol)
Built Through Open-Source CollaborationOne of the most rewarding aspects of this project has been the opportunity to build upon the work of other talented developers and open-source communities.
We want to extend our sincere appreciation to:

What Can You Expect From NFP XTM-MINER?
Our development build is designed around a modern Android mining experience, with features and goals including:
- Native Android mining application for ARM64 devices.
- Tari (XTM) mining integration.
- Customizable mining pool configurations.
- Adjustable mining performance profiles.
- Real-time hashrate and mining statistics.
- Accepted/rejected share monitoring.
- Device diagnostics and thermal monitoring.
- A redesigned Tari-inspired purple and pink interface.
- A planned zero-developer-fee implementation, pending verification.
Some functionality remains under testing and may change before release.
Our goal is to make the application straightforward to use while providing the transparency and controls that cryptocurrency miners expect.
The Final Stretch — Public Release Coming Soon!
We're now moving into more extensive testing, troubleshooting, and source-code verification.
Once we confirm continued reliable Tari mining, accepted pool shares, application stability, and release integrity, we intend to make the APK available to the community.
**Currently, There is no confirmed public release date yet, but we're working hard toward getting one soon.**
We also plan to share our progress openly through GitHub and our official project channels.
And yes, we'll be sharing development previews along the way!
