The point is that most people use crypto because they want to keep their identities a secret so at the end of the day having to go through a KYC verification breaks the whole point of trying to be anonymous, if I want my identity to be out there then I would use a fiat casino. We've simply normalized KYC verifications as a part of our lives and that why we keep doing it but the more casinos keep offering opportunities to gamble with them without having to verify our identity then we will obviously jump at them.
What you said is true but I believe there is something else people should think of. If you provide personal documents to a casino, you're also entrusting them with the responsibility of ensuring that those documents are kept secure. And it’s not everyone that will be comfortable with that, especially when they just wish to gamble with their cryptos.

But then again I wouldn’t necessarily just put my trust on a casino simply because they don’t request for KYC. I would still like to know if they have a good history when it comes to withdrawals and being fair to their customers.  Because why should you protect your identity if you can't get the cash out of it when you need it?
I am not sure where you live, but from the USA to China, to Russia, to France, and obviously many smaller nations as well- dozens of them, all your information is already leaked. You think that when we all went online, and our ID and information were kept online, on computers, by our governments, hackers didn't really see that as a task? Every single country got hacked, every single one of them, and because of that we have all ID's online by now, so this is why many people feel like they do not care anymore and just straight up share it.
So what if the government has access to my identity, they are not bothered ones I'm trying to stay anonymous from and I'm sure Itz-prisigold might share the same sentiment.
Plus I'm also not big on conspiracy theories so I will gladly push back against this narrative, if all our identities were already out there then why even bother with demanding for KYC like some casino and most exchanges do, they are not stealing your information somewhere online, you are th none giving it to them whenever you verify your identity online so it doesn't qualify as a leak if you are the one giving it out freely.

No KYC is like clickbait, and it is rare to see a regulated casino that has no KYC policy and can assure users that it will never ask for identification. It simply doesn't exist anymore.

If you ever see a casino with tag no KYC then take some time to read their ToS and if they didn't mention anything about it means they will ask for it and only proceed if they explicitly mentioned that they won't ask for KYC at any circumstances.

Theres already quite a few names around 'no KYC' sectore like BC.Game, Shuffle, Frenzy and others.. going for different levels of crypto-first experience and less friction. Not saying all of them are fully no KYC tho cause thats another story.

tried Frenzy recently and so far the whole wallet thing feels pretty smooth. not much hassle getting started which is nice for a change lol. still early tho so im curious what they gonna add next. too soon to judge the whole project

but im just curious, if no-KYC is actually becoming the norm or its just another marketing thing ?

what do you guys think: would you trust a casino more if it doesn't ask for your docs or does that actually make it more suspicious? -_-
Casino operators understand this is now the trend and they know a lot of gamblers prefer mo kyc casinos and this why their are many no kyc casinos coming up. I think this is a strategy operators are trying to use to capture gamblers but want thing i know is that it is not all no kyc casinos are through no kyc casinos.  Some just want to claim to be no KYC casino in the open while in the closed they are kyc casino and this shows that casino's like this are not reliable and people shouldn't just conclude all casino that claims to be no kyc are real, many are not real but using it as a marketing strategy to get what they want.

Yeah it seems like a marketing tactic because i also think that when you are losing 10k on a gambling site they didn't ask for a kyc but when someone win a huge amount they suddenly remember the kyc and also i heard from a lot of people here on bitcoin talk and also in real life they feel uncomfortable with kyc because you didn't trust someone in case of official documents that is why now a days most people choosing no kyc platforms and the casino companies knows this.

It is the new trend in town for many casino and now even scam casinos are taking this opportunity to get their victims.

No KYC is supposed to be no kyc till the end, not you coming to request for players documents at some point in the future. All of the casinos we have today at some point do require you provide those documents which is illogical.

Some times they do it to delay your withdrawals or hold them completely.

The truth is that casinos today might not be able to do without the kyc because of the many regulations that is being imposed on them by regulatory bodies.

Now it's even scarier, if you do take the risk of playing on a no kyc casino that is unlicensed, you might end up having issues when you encounter problems with the casino.

I have come to think of it why the government is not pressuring these casinos to ask for core information about their users.

Most of the no KYC casinos I have been seeing will always write in their TOS that they can ask of users information at any given time if the need arise. This is a pure manipulation from the casinos when they know that they are regulated and they need users information to stay in business so they government does not sanction them.

Been noticing more crypto casinos pushing the whole no KYC thing lately and tbh i think thats how crypto gambling should've worked from the start.

i mean whats the point of using crypto if you still gotta upload your passport, take selfies and wait for someone to approve your account just to play or withdraw your own money... that's lol...

Theres already quite a few names around 'no KYC' sectore like BC.Game, Shuffle, Frenzy and others.. going for different levels of crypto-first experience and less friction. Not saying all of them are fully no KYC tho cause thats another story.

Personally i think people are getting tired of all these verification steps especially when some casinos only bring up KYC right when you try to withdraw - and thats probably the worst part of it for my humble opinion

I like to see the feedback for a "no kyc" casino and how they have been operating for a few months before giving them a chance. Even then, I only make small deposits for a bit so I am not stuck making a big depo and they rug pull.

Lot's of sites, as others have been saying, just say no KYC but in fact use it in some situations. Marketing trick kinda but I do feel like they need something to protect themselves from the abusers. They just need to leave out No KYC if not truly no KYC.

We don't have too many no KYC casinos, we have some Bitvest I guess but other than that every other casino are just twisting their words and promote them as no KYC casinos wich they mean as not really a mandatory thing but they can ask for verification if they want and user have to comply to them or else their funds will be on hold which is just wrong advertising and should be avoided at all.

I don't think casinos are the one actually pushing for this no KYC thing. They can be using it as an advertisement for their own person business to gain customers. They are not the once pushing for it. Then who? It's the gamblers. Even many people here are always asking whether there is no KYC casinos.

Seems more casinos are springing up with no KYC. On a serious note, NO KYC is not that it is meant for only crypto casino's. No. Non crypto casino's can still offer the same thing. But this is based on the licence either of them acquired.

Is not like a casino can just wake up and take decisions, that's critical decisions that can raise eyebrows of the government they operate their business. Decisions like that will involve the government will make the government point their spying glass on you.

Lastly, casinos are bindes by the licence they acquire.

Personally, I don't trust kyc free casinos not because all are a scam. It seems like it is becoming a new standard because lots of players don't want to go through the stress of going through those processes but at the end of the day most of these casinos that gain the attention of gamblers by appearing as a KYC free casino doesn't make their terms of service very clear and in some cases the gamblers don't go through them properly.

Most cases these casinos that don't require KYC end up asking fot more informations that are very annoying, this comes up when gamblers win an extremely huge amount of money.

They are not the once pushing for it. Then who? It's the gamblers. Even many people here are always asking whether there is no KYC casinos.

Its not the gamblers making the rules - it is the casino operators.  Think about it for two seconds - players want to press a button and spin a wheel, the operators are losing money on compliance teams, identity verification services and wasting tonnes of resource on customer support agents for the people who are stuck with a KYC documents 24/7.  Eliminating KYC takes their costs off a cliff overnight.  Oh, and it makes them big money from restricted jurisdictions where players cant even sign up otherwise... so yeah, its pure profit motivation on their end.

Seems more casinos are springing up with no KYC. On a serious note, NO KYC is not that it is meant for only crypto casino's. No. Non crypto casino's can still offer the same thing. But this is based on the licence either of them acquired.

Nah, thats just not how fiat payments work in the real world.

It is impossible for a typical non-crypto casino to operate a real no KYC, no matter what license they buy.  The second you try to deposit or withdraw actual cash the bank or payment gateway steps in.  Payment processors are legally required to enforce AML rules, which means they wont touch anonymous fiat transactions with a ten-foot pole.

I like your point because it always happens. While no KYC casino was just a marketing stunt with nothing happening a few months back, I registered on one casino and deposited a small amount. I have had a good time with them; the first few small withdrawals work perfectly, but after a few weeks I have a big win, and I try to withdraw around $1100, but they block the withdrawal and ask for passing KYC because it's important to fight against money laundering.

Most big casinos are now doing things on start because if any customer is not going with this deposit, the deposit is not allowed. Maybe just a few casinos are operating without KYC, but still it's always having a big withdrawal, or after a few weeks they also need something that gives them all details about the customer.

What will you be expecting when using a casino that is with a license and not operating as a decentralize platform.

The nokyc stuff is purely a marketing strategy just to make customers curious and make use of their platform.

But it is without saying that at the moment of withdrawal on a big win the customer will be asked to do kyc. I hate the strategy and I feel it is not ethical for customers trust.

Bitcoin rewards patience, not panic.

Seeing the feedback of a casino to know if it is really no KYC is the best thing to do, but the problem is a lot of gamblers don't even have the patience to do so; they are so quick to get into the casino.

For gamblers who do their research about a casino, it will be hard to fall into a scam, because no matter how a casino claims to be good, there are gamblers, even if not many, who will give their genuine reviews about a casino. However, we often make excuses by saying we fell into the wrong casino because it is new and we have no idea of what the casino is up to.

You are very correct, it is not that easy to see a totally KYC free casino. Some are semi-Kyc. I named it semi KYC because at a time when you win suddenly big, they'll require you to complete KYC and if you are unable to do so, you will be losing your funds to the casino.

I am aware of this because I was in a group that guys were seriously complaining about the maltreatment of casinos. They said many things including deliberately changing the terms of services. Then I wonder why they should be jumping from one casino to the other, they should just select one reputable casino and stick to it.

but im just curious, if no-KYC is actually becoming the norm or its just another marketing thing ?
It’s just the new marketing statistics that the casinos discovered that players are looking at now, and they are exploiting it real good.

Quote
what do you guys think: would you trust a casino more if it doesn't ask for your docs or does that actually make it more suspicious? -_-

Asking for KYC in an instant and asking for it later makes no difference, and that doesn’t also define if I’m to trust a casino or not; I check on their reputation and their type of service. That's what will define how I treat them.

With lots of bookies in the market, there is an ongoing competition and each of them will want to attract more customers to come to their side and that no KYC stuff is a good way that bookies can use for more customers. That is because they know that plenty of person are not always comfortable submitting personal informations anyhow and so it will be very easy for people to fall for it.

Funny thing is that some of this bookies wouldn't ask for KYC until the time you want to withdraw the money that you win arrives. By then you will just be forced to do it because you don't an other choice.

If gamblers can quit trusting all that a bookies have to say then it will reduce the numbers of those that always fall trap for it. Reading the terms and conditions is an important thing to do before doings something that you will now have to regret.

Maybe it's marketing doing its job with the bonuses and brand new games "you have definitely never seen before!" [sarcasm]

People keep chasing the next shiny offer instead of staying where they are treated well.

At some point some bookies would have to restrategise and adopt the strategy of no KYC to attract customers, it might not be totally KYC free but they won't be too strict with their KYC and only or mostly demand for KYC when there's prove that a customer really defaulted by going against their policy.

I think it's fair enough than claim no KYC but demand for it when  customers win a certain amount of money, it's understandable if no KYC casino later demand for it over a good reason but frustrating when they're being too strict and unfair with it and claim it's their policy.
