I agree with the point that financial decisions and efforts are a greater source of shaping our life but it is just an exaggeration to say that our life is not longer in Gods hand and it is only now dependent on economy. There are also many people around us who try to manage their money wisely. They develop skills, they work really hard, still they face illness, sometimes they have to go through unemployment, economic crisis or some other circumstances, that are not in their control. Not everyone around us has the same amount of opportunities and resources. So that they can improve their financial status. Hard work is not a guarantee of success anymore. Similarly, poverty is not a mirror showing that a person has made a bad decision. We as human beings should be capable of taking responsibility for our choices and also try to recognise the circumstances, opportunities and luck. The more and the best approach is to work hard towards the goals trust in God plans and manage our resources rather than just believing that money is going to determine our future.

God is a matter of faith, and when it comes to survival or prosperity, it depends on each of us it depends on how hard we strive to achieve the most comfortable, or at least secure, situation, especially financially. So when you believe in God, it doesn’t mean you just cling to that faith without making any effort that’s ridiculous.

I really don't know where the economy system is attached to religious.
I only know that the economic market is a structure that is being implemented and regulated by the governments.
God or religion has nothing to do with it. Maybe the related I hears about is the grace of God where you are extraordinarily and spirituality interceded for over blessings.
God does not just bless the economy rather, he gifts us with the wisdom and knowledge to set up our worlds the way we want it to be.

Economy growth and its downfall has always been rested on the shoulder of the people in the society's especially the leaders who are the decision makers in the ecosystem.
I hope anyone believing in God should not also expect magical wonders that should just boom an economy that is not resourceful and productive as that.

It is good to have faith but putting energies to work is very relevant to make a successful economy.

No matter how difficult you think the economy is you still need to find a way for you to be do something profitable that you can earn from. if you say that a person's life depends on the economy then that's not entirely true because you can come from a country that has a bad economy and still make progress, this is all based on determination, following a plan, this is going to even help you strategize more.

Many people misplace religion as a savior without significant effort that brings that result and that's a big mistake. You would not rely on God for provision without putting in consistent effort, because faith without work is dead, even the Bible says that. Not to sound too religious but a lot of  Christians are guilty of this belief.

Consistency and hardwork is what produces luck, something most lazy people would say. An idle man would aways remain a stagnant man, grace will always find a man in motion, no matter how much faith or belief the latter has in God.

It is important to understand the difference between religious belief and fulfilling one's responsibilities in real life. Having faith in God and fulfilling one's responsibilities are not contradictory. One can work hard even with faith in God. One can plan and take necessary steps to build one's future. If one just prays for a good harvest without cultivating, there is no guarantee of getting a good harvest. If one takes care of the land along with praying and prepares for possible risks. In real life the second farmer is more likely to get good results. Faith can give personal strength or peace of mind. It cannot be a substitute for taking necessary steps to solve real problems. The idea that every person who believes in religion is lazy is not correct. If one is to criticize, one should not blame religion as a whole but question that specific way of thinking. Where people are asked to wait for miraculous help instead of their own efforts. Although many things in life are beyond our control, it is our responsibility to utilize the opportunities at our disposal.

the effort and the decisions matter more than stay waiting for the luck. But the things are not 100% under our control. The place where we are born, the family, the health and the economy around influence alot.
For this, I would say that we have control over alot of thing, but not over all.

Anywhere you are born you have an economy there, people are surviving and making a living there. Wherever you’re born, your survival depends on you. Op is not saying you must make it to the top of the ladder before you win, but you are responsible for what you get, not god. Irrespective of how poor the economy is, people are still paying rent, eating food, wearing clothes. So for someone waiting for god to intervene and provide for them, believing that their lives are in god hand, such people will die poor with nothing. And I think op is right.

Economy is actually a very integral part of human life and somehow, your economy determines your general well being. God has given man everything he needs to prosper and told him to go and explore, the efforts you put in, the decision you make, the dreams you have and the goals you wish to achieve. All these moulds us into what we truly are. Some people spend more energy on religion than they put into getting a good life.

Many things we pray for can actually be solved by Money and having money also make religion sweet. A poor religious person will never be happy because right at the worship places he will be put in the lowly class while the economic powers of the religion will be given the high places to occupy not minding their faith nor beliefs.

In summary, we all need God always, but knowing your God should not be the reason you ignore your economy at anytime.
