When you are going to sign up for a new casino, do you think about your signup and how it is processed (a referral or not)? Do you think about it as supporting fellow members or is it something that never crosses your mind? I used to be somebody who doesn’t care when signing up for these sorts of services, but now I usually try to take advantage of signing up for something and use it as an opportunity to help someone I know with a referral. How about you?

I always click the referral link if there is one. I have no problem supporting a fellow player

The problem arrives when I read about a casino in my phone and need to type in the browser on my computer. I will google the name of the casino and click the first link

We never lose anything by using a ref code, and sometimes the casino will gives us a bonus for being invited. I don't understand people that remove the referral for no reason

I do not think about referrer at all, but if a friend introduce me to a casino and I make findings and noticed that it can actually be a good casino, the friend can tell me to use his referer link. So far I see the site URL and his referer link added, I know it is legit. I can do it for a friend, but I can not do it for a stranger.

Honestly, I dont think about it too much. 

If I decide to give a new casino a try and sign up, I usually look for their ANN thread here and click on their banner, or I type in the URL manually.  I dont personally know many people who are into crypto gambling, so it doesnt make sense to go around looking for someone with a referral link.

Before, I was like that and doesn't care at all. But I understand that with little gesture of signing up under their link is a good help to them already, it means a lot for them.

We appreciate them with the help they've made to us if there's any, and they also have the same feeling of appreciation.

I do this before even not related to crypto about the blogs that have referral links, if I find the information written there as helpful. I return back the favor of signing it.

One time or a couple of times of usage or deposit is satisfying already. I don't mind if I do the same whether they sign or not under mine.

I clicked on the banner to sign up most of the time, and I know either the link of the owner of the casino or the signature campaign manager's referral link is behind the banner, I don't care whose link is behind, but clicking banner to sign up had been my thing. I just asked myself just now, should I really care about this from now on?

Caring I mean, putting my referral link in my signature code maybe someone might support me by clicking it and sign up through it. Who knows.

What i usually do is, if I find the casino name very popular, I search for it on the forum and go straight to their ANN thread. In the process of trying to get more information about them, I click on the link from the ANN thread. I prefer that way only on a few occasions have I clicked on a random signature and the worst option which I don't even want to think of is searching for the curl as that move comes with danger of falling into clone.

I always think that information is important, For that, I usually use a referral link, though it doesn’t necessarily have to be from someone I know, I simply use the referral link provided by the source where I first got about a gambling platform. In signature campaigns, I typically use the referral link provided by the manager .

BTW, I once thought the same way you do, but as I’ve grown older, I’ve come to realize there’s no harm in using those referrals, we don’t lose even a single cent, right?

I don't personally know many people who are into crypto gambling, so it doesn't make sense to go around looking for someone with a referral link.  

Unless, like most people who enjoys going around to support other gamblers that may seriously want to meetup their referral targets and I don't know what type of passion that is, I don't find any sense in going around to look for whom to support with just a click. I mean I would gladly click a link if it introduced me to a casino that has some spot-on features that I've been having a hard time to find for myself.

@Op, I think that's where opportunity meets readiness and consistency; their little services just needs to be seen at the right time of my need, and I guess that's how it's supposed to work, right?

Honestly I don’t really think about it, not like I have any problem with signing up with someone else’s referral code/link, I would if it’s just right in front of me, but going to look for someone’s referral before I sign in, simply because I wanna support them, that I haven’t done and that I’m not sure either if I’ll do because I honestly see it as a waste of my time.

The approach is always the same if the recommendation comes from the table of someone who we call 'fam', and they don’t just do the recommendation without expecting something in return. In such a case, using their referral link will be nice.

In this forum, I usually follow through with a manager signature thread to join a casino, which most of the time has a referral code attached to it.

I did the same. The guy who posted it put an effort to post the link or banner, so the best way to reward him is if you think that it will benefit you, or it's a good find, is to sign up using your link, and also, you want the same way if you posted a link, I always go to the first guy who posted or showed the link.

If it's the casino or the manager posted it to track the link, I'm also ok with it, so they can see that the casino is being welcomed, and he did the right thing coming here to post his casino.

If I see a referral link, I will not mind using it especially when it from a person I know, or like a manager her. If it is a referral link from a random person or individual, I may not be so interested in using the referral link. I think if you need to be checked if you have a problem using the referral link of someone you know because you do not want them to have any form of profit from you joining the casino through them.

If my friend recommended me and used his referral code, it wasn't a problem for me. I am willing to support others.
However, I usually do not use referral codes. I sign up directly as long as I trust the casino. I think this situation is the real scenario, and that is why those who join referral programs often get less (or even nothing).

Another thing is most of us here don't know each other. I believe no one bothers to search a known name and send a message just to ask if you have a referral code for a certain casino.

I like to use a platform recommended by someone I trust; not in a way of support though (at least my thought at that moment is not about supporting them with anything, even if they may get some bonuses from me using their referral links), but because I trust that if they are using the platform and are cool with it, why shouldn't I?

I do not give much importance to referrals except I am looking for a new casino and I am comfortable using one someone I know uses ans hasn't had much issues with it. It could be through referral links or I search for the casino myself.

This one is risky for me. The first result on Google is sometimes an Ad, and phishing sites are abusing those Ads so they always show up on top. Now even ChatGPT was caught giving a phishing site as answer, I saw that thread last September.
With rise of AI now, I'm curious, how they will solve these with help of AIs too.

When I sign up for a new service I often use referral link as that gives you some perks as well and at the same time helps someone else as well. However, sometimes when I find a good service and I don't find any referral link for it then in such case I sign up for it without using any referral link. So for me it's always better to use a ref link as that can be useful for both.

I voted for Find someone you want to support and click their banner (happy to support). I don't have any issues or problems signing up with a member here specially if he has the reputation to back it up.

And I have seen some campaigns as well that you need to have an account and so they are provided with that referral link.

What the problem to use an referral link? I do not see any, quite the opposite... my "friend" usually gets something and sometimes the casinos even give bonuses to those who sign up by a referral link.

My problem is that I rarely try new casinos, I am loyal to the ones I use and I am very wary to try a new casino service that does not have any reputation yet.... I would really have to be convinced that it is a good recommendation, and even then, I would start with small amounts.

Anyway, I would never open an account or make deposits just to generate a reward for someone. I think the referral should be an extra benefit of a choice I would already make, not the reason for making that choice.
