Bitcoin is truly like a democracy because it does not depend on anyone not controlled by any government at all. As a decentralised currency every one has the right to control his money due to self custody. Bitcoin shouldn't be related with democray cause even if the law is equally applicable to everyone in democracy, the people still vote in a president that could change the constitution in favour of his government but Bitcoin has no government to control it, not even Satoshi can rewrite of change Bitcoin's protocol.
Although just like democracy that needs a collective effort of the people to vote in a government to rule, Bitcoin needs miners, huge numbers of nodes for rules to be carried out through concensus and not one president to carry out a final decree, which is why it might have attributes of democracy through concensus of miners and nodes but no central authority like the presidency to control it or "rewrite it's protocol".
The same thing i think. People manipulate manipulate democracy and i wonder why op thinks it is the same with bitcoin. It is only people who are in power that benefit from democracy and the common people dont really feel the impact of democracy, this is to tell you it is just meant for one particular set of people. Nobody controls bitcoin, and all bitcoiners are the same and no one is more a bitcoiner than the other this is why their is nothing that can be used to compare with bitcoin. Looking at democracy in every aspect i dont see how it is related to Bitcoin. You do not have to deviate from the point from the OP. The OP is talking about an ideal system of democracy where things happen the way it's supposed to happen. Everyone knows that government is corrupt and influences democracy to their favour but that does not undermine the meaning of true democracy. Bitcoin in its own is like democracy because it is decentralised and everyone has the right to own and control his money at anytime.

The governments of the world will use Bitcoin for their benefit, they can keep it as a reserve, they can make transactions but they will not recognize it because if they recognize it, the people will consolidate financial power and challenge the power against the government, because the current control of the money of any country is the real power of the state and the government knows it very well if it is recognized, a great revolution in the money power of the people will happen. So while most of the government has power, it buys and saves it secretly and when it loses power, it uses it silently but does not recognize it.
So I think the Bitcoin money and savings system is a reflection of democracy.
The transparency inherent in Bitcoin transactions is the enemy of criminals engaged in corruption. If the Bitcoin system were implemented, they would no longer be able to misuse funds intended for other purposes. As for the notion that Bitcoin reflects democracy and freedom, I think this is because Bitcoin offers things we cannot get from the national banking system—even though users have already seen many improvements in banking transactions and other services.

I think most people believe they live in a democracy when really the only indicator of democracy is we get to elect a government, after that the government does what it likes [within reason in most cases] They control the FIAT system and control our FIAT with taxes, there is a strong argument that the governments font necessarily spend that revenue wisely or in the populations best interests. Having Bitcoin as an option is a major benefit, when your FIAT gets converted to Bitcoin it automatically remains out of the control of the government.

Hmm, bro, this is an interesting thought, really, but it only makes me wonder that if you think they have not recognized it or will not recognize it but will hold it, then what's the main difference there? What about the US government's strategic reserves, and what about El Salvador's legal tender development?
As far as I understand this, they are not hiding that they have recognized it, and now they are building their banks around it too because they only have two ways to control us, food and money.
Their fake food campaigns, which also involve seedless food, have made everyone alert, even those who are scared of it but have never saved seeds to grow them back, haha, but the threat is real. Because with food, they can control us, and by controlling the money, they can control any decision in our country, so there is literally no need for war.
So banks are the point where they will start controlling money, and to do that, they have to make some deals with the state banks of the country. Who they are is unknown to me as well. Maybe one will call them the enemies of their countries or someone else. It can be anyone, haha, but the game is clear and so confusing too. Also, BTC can't be related to democracy.

Democracy is when 51% vote to spend everyone else's money. Bitcoin is just math that doesn't care who gets elected.
It's less of a democracy and more of an economic ceasefire. The rules apply equally whether you run a central bank or run a node from your basement.

Bitcoin isn’t controlled by any government because it runs on a worldwide network of computers with no boss, no central bank and no single point they can shut down. Nobody can just print more Bitcoin or freeze the whole network.
Governments don’t like losing control over money. They can’t control it the same way they control traditional banks. People can send money across borders without asking permission.
They can still regulate exchanges, tax profits and punish illegal use but controlling Bitcoin itself is a different story and they hate that.

Forget about democracy OP when we talk about Bitcoin, as it is completely different. You'd better be thankful that it was not controlled by someone else. Otherwise, you won't be able to see its price today. Everyone has the freedom to own Bitcoin. And much more have controlled what they want for them. Some countries buy Bitcoin for a reason, and that is probably for future development.
I was also confused when I see democracy in related to Bitcoin. I read through the thread and understand what the OP is trying to explain, but it should be related to Bitcoin at all because most of these democratic governments didn’t legalize Bitcoin simply because they can’t be able to control the Bitcoin, and some government only recognized it as illigal tender because they are accusing Bitcoin as a tool scammers are using to scam people just because they don’t have access to control it, and the government are not willing to also accept it simply because they are not pure in their governance if not we all know that Bitcoin is recognized globally.

Not really. Some aspect of democracy such as one person one vote aren't exist on Bitcoin network.
Isn't it similar to one full nodes one vote since the blockchain don't consider persons. I understand Bitcoin doesn't work in a vote System. Bitcoin isn’t controlled by any government because it runs on a worldwide network of computers with no boss, no central bank and no single point they can shut down.
Yeah but they can influence the opinions and actions of the people that makes use of it. The transparency inherent in Bitcoin transactions is the enemy of criminals engaged in corruption. If the Bitcoin system were implemented, they would no longer be able to misuse funds intended for other purposes.
Irony is Bitcoin being a public ledger is one of the reason they don't attack it like they do pure privacy coins. The issue they would have with Bitcoin is the same they had with the gold standard. They can't really print more when they want to.

Bitcoin is like a democracy that no government can control
Yes, it makes sense that Bitcoin could be an argument like democracy, this can be strengthened by the reason that Bitcoin as we know has a characteristic called decentralization, that basis can be stated as democracy, Very different from the traditional money system where fiat money can be controlled by a central bank, on the other hand, Bitcoin is actually based on a global network (blockchain), meaning that Bitcoin is a single authority. From the other side, Bitcoin can be considered as a democracy where the power over Bitcoin is actually in the hands of its users and also without censorship, it is proven that Bitcoin can be sent throughout the world without the need to ask permission from any party, like a government or bank, like fiat, all actions are up to the user, Bitcoin actually has the principle of transparency in an ideal democracy in essence.

I do not want to mix Bitcoin with the current democracy. But the sad thing is that despite getting freedom in both cases, people prefer to be centralized towards the government. In the case of politics or Bitcoin, the main sentence of democracy is that the people own the power, the government is their servant.
But look at the real picture, after the elections, the people act as servants of the government and become centralized, the people lose their power and lose their freedom.
The government is applying the same principle in Bitcoin. The government is trying to control Bitcoin users by making various excuses. Controlling Bitcoin users means controlling Bitcoin. Just as in a democracy, if the people are under the control of the government, the government can control democracy as it wishes, similarly in the case of Bitcoin, control of Bitcoin is possible only if the users can be controlled. The government is still unable to take complete control of democracy and Bitcoin because there are still some freedom-loving people, but the government is still trying.

My idea about this is that there's a very visible irony here. Governments may resist Bitcoins decentralization, they still recognize its value as a key and rising financial asset.
What we're seeing from Bitcoin is that it gives people more. Not just being a key reserve or just for transactions, it gives people an alternative to systems controlled by central authorities.
Governments can regulate exchanges and restrict assets, but controlling Bitcoin itself is a different challenge!
The government may not like Bitcoin since it’s something they cannot control, but do you by any chance believe that the Government don’t invest in Bitcoin? I’m very confident that some government invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not something people should avoid, as the future holds a lot of potential value. Most governments will not just sit back and watch people invest in Bitcoin while others take the advantage of the opportunity to hold. Government can control where people buy and sell bitcoin, but controlling a decentralized system like Bitcoin is going to be difficult. Government has no choice than to accept Bitcoin the way it is.

Yes, Satoshi created Bitcoin in such a way that there is no government control here and Bitcoin can run at its own pace. This Bitcoin has been created as a completely decentralized currency. If you think about it, Bitcoin is like democracy, but it is not controlled by any government or bank. Bitcoin is like democracy, in this way, no one has control over Bitcoin, no one can reduce or increase the price of Bitcoin. It is not controlled by any single government or single group. The Bitcoin network is operated by a large number of nodes in the world. So even if any government wants to, it cannot completely control the Bitcoin network. Bitcoin is spread in every corner of the world, yet the governments of some countries think that Bitcoin is illegal but it is a legal currency, even after that they have this kind of thought because they do not know anything about Bitcoin well.

A country mustn't make bitcoin a legal tender before it's been recognized as a currency.
That's the misconception about this whole thing and why we keep getting it wrong. Many people think that Bitcoin must first be generally accepted as a legal tender before they can see it as been recognized, whereas that is not the case. In my country precisely, Bitcoin is well acknowledge by many business people. As a matter of fact some maga stores that is into selling of phones, gadgets and accessories. Even some automobile maga car stands also accept Bitcoin for payment. I know way back it wasn't like this, but with what I'm seeing as of recent, time I know will tell more better and people we continue to see it value and why it should be adopted.

It depends on what you mean by "recognize"... If you mean as legal tender, then no country in the world recognizes Bitcoin as legal tender... Maybe El Salvador or CAR used to recognize Bitcoin as legal tender, but now they've changed their view on it... But most countries do recognize Bitcoin as a property/commodity and a strategic reserve... These days, countries mostly see Bitcoin as property/commodity mainly because they don't want their citizens to use Bitcoin as a payment method, which would make it harder for them to monitor transactions and tax them... Whereas if it's fiat, they can track financial flows more easily... But basically, most governments today recognize Bitcoin as a legitimate asset, even if they don't recognize it as legal tender.

These banks are government agents that give out our financial activities to the state. Bank users are like prisoners who are closely monitored and lack freedom. I am sure my accounts will also be closed if I convert my Bitcoin to fiat and move it to a bank. They would definitely want to know my source of revenue and how I got such an amount. My own case might be difficult because bankers and law enforcement agencies in my location don't have much knowledge about cryptocurrencies. They would end up calling me a scammer. Bitcoin is my best asset because nobody knows how much I am worth. and it can be easily moved from one place to another without restrictions.

This information is not completely true because the countries in your list know what bitcoin is and they even allow the use of bitcoin for payment for goods and services. Your post is appearing like you think that bitcoin was created to rival fiat or you are predicting a revolution against government through bitcoin. If that is correct, I want to tell you that such thing will never happen because bitcoin was not created to eradicate fiat. People might enjoy more freedom and privacy using bitcoin but that does not mean that such freedom will mean living above the laws.

Secrety you say. Haven't you being reading the news? It's just a Google away. Search. Countries are not buying it secretly. I mean their government. Some are even publicly telling the world they are buying it. They see the potential in it in the first place. And they are buying into it. Take north Korea and Russia who uses Bitcoin to bypass any sanctions from the USA to buy things overseas. What is at play here is power. Just as you have stated. Power and control. At first we thought it was against the people. Now countries are not even left behind. That's to say some government are powerful than others. And Bitcoin can make them bypass any blockage from the other. True freedom.

Democracy integrated into our currency. That is next gen money.
Unfortunately politicians and regulators are comprised of old farts who cannot accept change, even if it means turning down a better alternative. They just want things to stay the same, especially in a system that they can control and profit off of. Which would explain why most of them are trying to slow down the inevitable change that must come. The Bitcoin era is still ahead of us.
Fiat is fake democracy.

(Snip) You do not have to deviate from the point from the OP. There's something LFC_Bitcoin said that interests me, which I'll use in replying your point. "Bitcoin runs on a worldwide network of computer with no boss" i know that democracy gives everyone equal right but the government makes the call which is why you don't have full control over your own money in democracy. But with Bitcoin you have self-custody of your money and no one controls the network, entity or government that's why it shouldn't be compared to democracy whether true democracy or not.
