It seems that PlayW3.com's users are increasing a lot, I have seen a few casinos operating as a sub domain of PlayW3.com before. Here are two of them- Crypto2Cash.playW3.com , Easy.Playw3.com, there are probably more, but I can't remember or find them right now. I actually want to know if the gambling site through PlayW3.com can actually be operated as an owner or does it just work as a kind of referral system? Anyone have any real experience to share somthing like - playW3.com?

Maybe this is related to PlayW3 - Be the Boss: Launch Your Own Web3 Gaming Portal, where the parent platform appears to be PlayW3. So if they have a license, it could be under the main operator, while the other operators are still using the same platform, but it's more like branding. I don't know how the profit sharing works for those who get their own brand, but if it's legit, I think this is an effective way of growing the parent casino.

Actually this is something like white label system. This is no ordinary referral system.
What is done by creating subdomain on site like PlayW3.com is much like running front end version of casino platform. Even if you create any subdomain and brand, actual back end control of entire site remain with main platform. Game integration is primarily controlled by the parent site. Even I think they control everything like payment gateway and smart contract etc. So, you cannot call yourself completely independent owner.

From personal experience, I know that the most important thing in any business is its customer base. So I have a perfectly reasonable question: who owns the customer base of an online casino operating under this model? 🙋 If you can't transfer your customer base to another platform, then it's not your business. If the owners of PlayW3.com control the customer base and have full access to it, then you're in big trouble! Essentially, it's not your business. It could be taken away from you at any moment... I'm also very interested in who will bear legal responsibility in the event of a violation of gambling laws. After all, you might end up bearing all the risks, but not being the full owner of the online casino. This, in my opinion, is the worst possible scenario! Furthermore, operating on someone else's subdomains, in my opinion, can be a red flag for potential players. When you're building a business, you need to do everything like adults from the very beginning. Creating your own website on someone else's subdomain seems childish. 💁

I've heard of the owner of the PlayW3.com gambling business, but I have no experience with the PlayW3.com platform, but some clues point to a referral agent. This can be proven from the statement I quote below. Through the PlayW3.com platform, the system offered is actually in the middle between a full owner and a referral system, or more precisely referred to as a branded affiliate/white-label referral partnership system.
From the sources above, the conclusions that can be drawn regarding the ownership of PlayW3.com are clearer here. Technically, you are not acting as a conventional gambling business owner (casino owner) who has full control over the system, money and operations. PlayW3.com is an automated Web3 referral system.
You act as a marketer or high-level affiliate who is given the facility to wrap the referral link into a branded website of its own.

AFAIK, in any standard referral system, you can earn certain percentage and commission simply by driving traffic. However in these white label system, profit is shared based on Net Gaming Revenue. As CucakRowo mentioned, you will not have direct control over users fund on front end. Furthermore core license and security depend on parent platform. So if there is any technical or regulatory issue with main site then all subdomain will also go down. So, imo if you wanna promote casino to users by building your own brand then it is much better approach than simply sharing referral link. However this is not any customized on chain platform for launching any independent business.

From the little I know about them, they are offering a system whereby people can launch their casino using their already made system. The two casinos you have mentioned are related and operating under the same license of their parent company PlayW3.come. They are not only about the affiliate marketing but also giving people the opportunity to own the business using what they have created which entails both the front and back end. I don't know if I will be excited using them to launch something as sensitive as a casino necause I will prefer to build everything myself if I ever plan on having a casino in the future.

I have never heard of them but there is an easy way to find, whether they operate as two or more individual website or just acting as referral agent by making a deposit to one and see whether the balance reflects in the other site too, because if it is referral then one wallet and same balance for all the domains and it looks like more of a mirror operation than two different casinos and I could be wrong.

The party bearing legal responsibility is the provider (license holder), in this context, playw3; as they do not issue specific licenses for this kind of program. In the event of a technical dispute, the operator (affiliate) acts solely as a liaison to the provider (yep, the operator may provide their own front-line CS).

Apparently, they provide the infrastructure for you to operate your own casino, and of course they benefit from it. It's almost a trademark right without having to worry about all the bureaucracy and implementation that launching from scratch would require.

Anyone have any real experience to share somthing like - playW3.com? PlayW3 actually runs a program which they call Be The Boss, this is actually a kind of a referral program where, instead of just giving you a referral link, they’ll simply allow you to to setup a custom subdomain with a branded portal. When you do this, even though they market it as owning your own casino business, you’re not technically managing the games, or taking responsibility for any losses from your own pocket, what you’re simply doing is standing as a marketer that’s driving traffic to their shared liquidity pool and then you receive your own cut at the end of the day directly on chain.

So what do we have: - The parent site controls the backend and payments and game integration so the subdomain owner is more of a front-end operator than a real owner.
- The customer base most likely stays with the parent which means the whole business can be taken away at any moment.
- Legal responsibility for any violations could land on the subdomain owner even without full control.
My take: it's riskier for the people running the subdomain than for players since they carry the legal and business risks without owning anything. For players it's not automatically unsafe but I'd want to know who actually holds the funds and the license before depositing because the brand on the screen may not be the one responsible.

I've actually seen that in many places people aren't calling it a referral system properly, but for me their system is acting like a referral system. But I have a few questions that I haven't yet received answers to, such as who actually ensures the players win here? Like, do they provide the bankroll for the casino running on the sub-domain or does playw3 do this itself? If playw3 itself provides this, then it is definitely a referral system, just the language has been changed for marketing.

In the event of a technical dispute, the operator (affiliate) acts solely as a liaison to the provider (yep, the operator may provide their own front-line CS). Let's imagine a global technical failure that results in players experiencing significant inconvenience or even being unable to play their favorite gambling games, withdraw winnings, etc. 🙋 Who will players be angry at? PlayW3.com? Of course not! They'll be angry at the online casino they're playing at... Players won't be receptive to the support team's explanation that it's not they, but PlayW3.com's technical specialists, who are to blame, in my opinion. If PlayW3.com fails to fulfill its obligations to maintain the online casino website (operator), the primary problems will be with the online casino (operator), not PlayW3.com. An online casino can't avoid reputational risks. In some cases, it also bears legal risks. I haven't analyzed the contract with PlayW3.com, but such companies typically try to avoid taking on excessive legal liability. I'm pretty sure that if the operator's local laws or the laws of the players' countries of residence are violated, the primary legal liability will fall on the online casino (operator), and not on PlayW3.com. 🙋

You May be right, this could be a new style of branding and is targeted at getting more customers to sign up in their platform if not I don't see the need of this type of move coming from this brand. From what I see all the other ones are sharing the same domain with PlayW3.com. I may discribed the advertising account as partners to the casino and they may be getting a level of commission based on the arrangement and agreement that the two have. In as much as this is a very good idea I see this as a feature problem going forward playW3.com should be careful about this type of moved or partnership.

Yeah, they have used the Brand font, while the rest of the things, like all the games, contracts, and payments, are under the control of the main operator. You have the revenue percentage, and they will send it to your wallet. Now, the main issue is the customer base. If you are leaving the casino, then who will hold it? As we know, the whole backend is under the control of the main operator, so you have to leave your fans here. It's a good option for everyone to work with them, but if you want to grow alone, then it's impossible with them.

Sometimes even those that owns multiple casinos does not like it to disclose their ownership identities. Even some investors in the stocks and real estates may still want to stay anonymous while positioned some else as the ownership. So it is really going to be difficult to determine if it is particular operators that runs the alike casinos. I am even wondering if the casinos were only spoofing the mother playw3.com as they looks almost the same from their website address and URL. That seens more like a marketing strategy for the operators with the sites similarities looking more like it is one casino with different versions.

Even if they don’t announce their partnership, before a casino can have a subdomain to another, they should be earning something from their direct affiliate partnership, whose revenue is being shared, although it will be nicer if they can make all their partners public in order to safely guide players from clones and scammers trying to use them.
